    W artykule prezentuje się współczesne zarzuty wobec personalizmu etycznego, którego szczególnym przykładem jest etyka Karola Wojtyły. Odsłania się błędne założenia kryjące się za tymi zarzutami i sposób udzielenia na nie odpowiedzi, które znajdujemy w pracach Wojtyły. Współczesna krytyka personalizmu etycznego wychodzi z pozycji pozytywizmu sprowadzającego wartościową wiedzę do nauk szczegółowych, a wykluczającego ujęcie istoty moralności. Ten pozytywistyczny redukcjonizm stoi też u podstaw formułowania zarzutu błędu naturalistycznego wobec personalizmu Wojtyły. Jego „norma personalistyczna”, która wyklucza tylko instrumentalne traktowanie osoby z racji jej szczególnej wartości, jest uzasadniona w oparciu o doświadczenie aksjologiczne, między innymi obecne w doświadczeniu wstydu, który ujawnia bezpośrednio istotę i wartość osoby ludzkiej.
    The article presents contemporary accusations against ethical personalism, whose special representative is the ethics of Karol Wojtyła. It reveals erroneous assumptions behind these accusations and the way to answer them, which we find in the works of Karol Wojtyła. Contemporary criticism of ethical personalism comes from the position of positivism, which reduces valuable knowledge to specific sciences, and which excludes the essence of morality. This positivist reductionism also underlies the accusation of a naturalistic fallacy against Wojtyła’s personalism. His “personalistic norm” which excludes only the instrumental treatment of a person is justified on the basis of axiological experience, among other things, present in the experience of shame, which reveals directly the essential nature of the human person and the value of the human person.

    The article provides theoretical analysis of dynamics of love and its connection with the truth about a person, in the context of ethical and metaphysical personalism. The considerations begin with the presentation of a philosophical controversy between the phenomenological and personalist recognition of love; the first indicates the empirical nature of love, whereas the second is complemented by ethics – virtue of love, related to the moral duty. Further the author undertakes to analyze the development of love including metaphysical and psychological aspects, which ends with a description of the imitations of love in the face of the mature, complete love, taking into account the truth about a person and representing the goal of education.

    Celem pracy jest przedstawienie i opisanie ogólnodydaktycznych aspektów kształcenia etyki komunikacji na poziomie akademickim. Autor dąży do tego celu, opierając swoje rozważania o teorię moralności komunikacyjnej oraz teorię kształcenia ogólnego. Określa specyfikę nauczania zagadnień etycznojęzykowych, wyodrębnia dwa jego wymiary: rzeczowy i osobowościowy, z których można wyprowadzać cele edukacyjne, wskazuje również na dwa sposoby przekazu wartości: intelektualny i emocjonalny. Autor ustala ponadto, że zarówno dydaktyczny, jak iwychowawczy charakter zadań wykładowcy etyki komunikacji cechuje ten sam stopień ważności oraz opisuje najistotniejsze, jego zdaniem, metody edukacyjne. Odnosi się również do kilku typowych sytuacji dydaktycznych, próbując na ich tle wyjaśnić złożoność określonych dylematów kształcenia, a także wskazać możliwe drogi ich rozstrzygania.
    The aim of this work is to present and describe the general didactic aspects of education in the field of ethics of communication at the academic level. The author pursues this goal by anchoring his deliberations in the theory of communicative morality and the theory of general education. He defines the specificity of teaching ethical language issues and distinguishes its two dimensions: material and personal. These dimensions serve as sources for educational goals. The author also points to two ways of conveying values: intellectual and emotional. In addition, he states that both the didactic and pedagogical character of the tasks of a lecturer of communication ethics is characterized by the same degree of importance. He describes educational methods which he personally finds the most significant. The author refers as well to some typical didactic situations, and using them as a background, he tries to explain the complexity of specific educational dilemmas, and then he indicates possible ways of resolving them.

    The paper focuses on the role of the Institute of National Education set up in 1997 within Radio Maryja, an intellectual formation chosen by right-wing politicians. The Institute is interested in reforming education; it also questions the existing assumptions of education transformations relating to the model of the moral-shaping school or the societal role of pedagogical sciences. It engages in a variety of education forms, including National Education School, the Academy of Ethical Upbringing, the Academy of Social Abilities, the Summer School of Polish Culture, professional development classes as well as symposia and popular scientific lectures. The Institute is present in publishing. Moreover, it is responsible for organizing summer holidays and pilgrimages; it co-operates with the Redemptorists during retreat meetings. Yet another branch of the Institute is Feliks Koneczny Thought Club and the Maksymilian Kolbe School of Journalism. In the light of its prominence, the discussed movement should be able to contribute significantly to the debate on the education transformation.

    Celem artykułu jest prezentacja i omówienie najważniejszych kierunków poszukiwań etycznych podstaw przywództwa. Analizowane są: sformułowany w latach 70. ubiegłego wieku model przywództwa transformacyjnego, nawiązujący do idei dyskursu model przywództwa transpozycyjnego, koncepcje kładące nacisk na upodmiotowienie jednostek i propozycje nawiązujące do tradycji personalizmu chrześcijańskiego. Omówione koncepcje oferują odmienne kryteria etycznego przywództwa, a także strategie ich identyfikacji. Z analizy wynika, że poszukiwania są wyznaczane przez kluczowe wartości naszego kręgu cywilizacyjnego, takie jak demokracja, obywatelska podmiotowość, rozwój i autonomia jednostki. Celem artykułu jest także ilustracja, w jaki sposób koncepcje spoza obszaru badań nad przywództwem – np. rozwijane na gruncie zarządzania publicznego – mogą być wykorzystane w celu konkretyzacji postulatów modeli etycznego przywództwa.
    The aim of this paper is to present and discuss the most influential concepts of ethical leadership. The article consecutively analyses the transforming leadership model as formulated in the 1970s, transpositional leadership based on the notion of discourse, and fi nally concepts focused on the empowerment of individuals and ideas associated with the tradition of Christian personalism. These models not only off er different criteria of ethical leadership, but likewise strategies for their identifi cation. The analysis demonstrates that the search for different criteria of ethical leadership is closely tied to the founding values of Western civilization, such as democracy, civil empowerment, autonomy and development of individuals. The paper also aims to illustrate how ideas from outside the area of leadership studies, e.g. developments in the domain of public management, can be used to specify the postulates of ethical leadership models.

    Artykuł stanowi rekonstrukcję formowania się lubelskiej personalistycznej szkoły etyki w myśli Karola Wojtyły i Tadeusza Stycznia jako jego ucznia i kontynuatora. Personalizm w kulturze, a zwłaszcza w filozofii XX wieku, jest odpowiedzią na kryzys człowieczeństwa. Formułującnormę personalistyczną jako podstawową normę moralności, Wojtyła dokonał przebudowy etyki chrześcijańskiej. Rozwijał filozofię osoby, aby jeszcze głębiej odsłonić aksjologicznepodstawy etyki. Styczeń dokonał z kolei szeregu krystalizacji metaetycznych: uściślił pojęcie doświadczenia moralnego jako macierzystej sytuacji etyki, przedstawiał personalizm jakokonsekwentny intuicjonizm etyczny i wreszcie uściślał pojęcie etyki niezależnej w krytycznym i twórczym dialogu z myślą etyczną Tadeusza Kotarbińskiego i Tadeusza Czeżowskiego.
    This article is a reconstruction of the emergence of the Lublin personalist school in Ethics in the thought of Karol Wojtyła and Tadeusz Styczeń, who was his disciple and follower. Personalism in culture, and especially in the philosophy of the 20th century, is the answer to the crisis of humanity. Formulating the personalist norm as the fundamental norm of morality, Wojtyła accomplished a transformation of the Christian Ethics. In order to reveal the deeper axiological roots of Ethics he was developing the studies on the philosophy of a person. Styczeń accomplished significant categorisations in Metaethics. He precisely defined the concept of the moral experience as the underlying situation in Ethics, he presented personalism as consistent ethical intuitionism, and finally he clarified the concept of Autonomous Ethics through critical and creative dialogue with the ethical thought of Tadeusz Kotarbiński and Tadeusz Czeżowski.
