    In this article, we will critically examine programmes in German at universities in Tirana and Shkodra. After a general, but historically-grounded, introduction to German Studies in Albania, we will discuss basic structural elements such as the content of the three-year programmes in Tirana and Shkodra. In this contribution, special emphasis is given to the current challenges for Programmes in German with respect to the law following the last university reform. Because of our many years of teaching activity and experience in this area, we aim above all to provide a multifaceted view of the problems, tendencies and prospects for Programmes in German in Tirana and Shkodra. Our considerations represent an attempt to continue or revive the international discussion on this topic.

    Opis:
    The way master theses are prepared in the Department of German Studies, University of Wroclaw has changed over the last thirty years. The main objective of the present paper is to show how students‘ motivation has changed. The Bologna Process seems to be an important time frame, and at the same time a reason for many negative developments observed by the author. The paper addresses also what the author considers insufficient preparation of students to participate in the academic discourse, and the lack of knowledge about the true causes of students‘ problems among lecturers and professors. The author suggests that the seminar „Academic Writing“, introduced recently in the Department of German Studies may be a solution to the aforementioned problems.

    Wspominanie zostało zapomniane: Paradygmaty, problemy i paradoksy literackiej pamięci o Szoah Niniejszy artykuł przedstawia literackie i historyczno-memorialne tendencje, które od zakończenia II wojny światowej kształtowały sposoby zajmowania się problematyką Zagłady w literaturze i do których nadal odnoszą się krytycznie młode pokolenia pisarzy i pisarek w Niemczech i w Polsce. Artykuł rozważa na wstępie dominujące paradygmaty literackiego dyskursu o Szoah, tj. zakaz przedstawiania oraz topos niewyrażalności, a następnie omawia problemy metodologiczne, które wynikają z nakazu milczenia oraz indywidualnej i moralnej potrzeby zdania relacji. Paradoksy literackiego kształtowania pamięci ukazane zostają w ostatniej części na podstawie eseistycznego opowiadania Dorona Rabinovici pt. Gedenken ist vergessen [Wspominanie zostało zapomniane].
    Gedenken ist vergessen: Paradigmen, Probleme und Paradoxien literarischer Erinnerung an die Shoah Der vorliegende Beitrag präsentiert die literatur-und erinnerungsgeschichtlichen Entwicklungen, die seit dem Ende des Zweiten Weltkrieges für die literarische und literarhistorische Auseinandersetzung mit der Problematik der Shoah bestimmend wurden und an denen sich eine junge Generation von Autorinnen und Autoren in Polen und Deutschland inzwischen kritisch abarbeitet. Der Beitrag geht zuerst den dominierenden Paradigmen des literarischen Shoah-Diskurses, d.h. dem Darstellungsverbot und dem Topos der Unsagbarkeit nach, um dann die methodischen Probleme, die sich aus dem Gebot des Schweigens und dem individuellen und moralischen Zeugnisbedürfnis ergeben, zu erörtern. Die Paradoxien in der literarischen Erinnerungsgeschichte werden im abschließenden Teil an der essayistischen Erzählung von Doron Rabinovici Gedenken ist vergessen (2008) exemplifiziert.

    Das Ziel dieses Beitrags ist es, die Ergebnisse einer Umfrage unter über 200 Germanistik-Studierenden der Adam-Mickiewicz-Universität Poznań zu diskutieren. Die Daten wurden im Zeitraum vom Dezember 2021 bis Februar 2022 mittels eines Online-Fragebogens erhoben. Die Studierenden verschiedener Semester wurden danach gefragt, wie sie un-terschiedliche phonetische Phänomene wie z. B. Vokale und Konsonanten, Wort- und Satz-akzent und Koartikulation wahrnehmen und ihre eigenen phonetischen Kompetenzen in diesen Bereichen einschätzen.
    The intention of this paper is to discuss the results of a survey conducted among over two hundred students of German philology at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. The data were gathered in the period from December 2021 to February 2022 by using an online questionnaire. It was designed to elicit the information from students of different years of German philology how they see some phenomena of phonetics, for example vowels and consonants, word and sentence stress, coarticulation and how they assess their phonetic skills in these fields.
    Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie wyników ankiety przeprowadzonej wśród ponad 200 studiujących germanistykę na Uniwersytecie im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu. Dane zbierano przy pomocy kwestionariusza online w okresie od grudnia 2021 do lutego 2022. Celem ankiety było uzyskanie odpowiedzi, jak studentki i studenci germanistyki różnych lat postrzegają wybrane fenomeny fonetyczne, takie jak samogłoski i spółgłoski, akcent wyrazowy i zdaniowy oraz koartykulacja i jak w tym kontekście oceniają własne kompetencje fonetyczne.
