    The aim of this article is to describe the issue of effective vocabulary learning among the students of neophilological faculties as well as to provide an answer to the question on how to learn vocabulary effectively. To achieve this aim, two vocabulary learning strategies (the key-word method and learning by heart) were compared on the basis of empirical research. Moreover, the vocabulary learning style of the informants was described, the conclusions were drawn and recommendations given.

    Opis:
    The concept of competence is one of the central buzzwords in the debate about the employability of university graduates as postulated in education policy. The question of competence-oriented teaching and learning goes hand in hand with the question of the practical relevance of the university and its current role. In ongoing discussions, the latter is being, if not redefined, then at least expanded so that it can no longer be reduced to the acquisition and transfer of knowledge. At the same time, the university of today faces the challenge of imparting numerous (key) competences to prospective graduates, which are certainly in demand by potential employers. One of these is communicative competence in spoken language, which is the focus of this article, using the example of German as a foreign language in a corporate context.

    Jaki jest główny sens słowa „caritas”? Na to pytanie autor stara się odpowiedzieć za pomocą metody analizy strukturalnej tekstu. Przeszukał i poddał analizie ilościowej kluczowe pojęcia z zakresu nauki o caritas w Ewangelii św. Marka i w innych dokumentach norm eklezjalnych. Końcowy wynik analiz wskazuje, iż pojęcie „caritas” oznacza przede wszystkim aktywność i odpowiedzialność. W dru-giej części tego artykułu zostały podane pewne wskazówki, jak zrealizować tę odpowiedzialność i działanie w zakresie działalności charytatywnej Kościoła.
    What is the main sense of the word Caritas? We try to answer with the method of the text analysis. We search the key worlds in the Gospel of Marc and in different documents of ecclesial norms (Encyclical Deus Caritas Est, Motu propio Intima Ecclesiae Natura). The end-result is: Caritas mean: activity and responsibility. In the second part of our article we give some advises how to realize this responsibility and activity. This activity can be realised only trough the cooperation of different levels the transactions, but the key his efectivness is the precise definition the goals of our activity.

    The article focuses on the realm of stock exchange and its terminology. It starts with a historical overview of stock exchange in Europe, with a particular emphasis on the one in Frankfurt am Main. The main objective of the article, however, is to present the key stock market terms. After characterising the terms from the stock exchanges in Paris and the United States, the author discusses lexis from the online version of the German stock-market daily newspaper, BörsenZeitung. The data comes from the first half of 2013. Thirty terms with the highest frequency have been selected and analysed.

    Der vorliegende Beitrag zielt darauf ab, die Mikroebene der verschlüsselten Kommunikation zeitgenössischer Tänzer*innen in den Blick zu nehmen. Der Fokus der hier präsentierten Ausführungen liegt demnach auf der Identifikation von Schlüsselwörtern, die die zeitgenössischen Tänzer*innen im schöpferischen Prozess während der Arbeit an einer Aufführung verwenden. Während der nicht teilnehmenden Beobachtung, die als methodische Herangehensweise gilt, werden die während der Tanzproben verwendeten Schlüsselwörter erkannt, ihre Funktion auf Grund der Analyse des Kontextes sowie die Motive ihres Gebrauchs bestimmt. Hiermit lässt sich die Frage beantworten, ob die Bezeichnung verschlüsselt bezüglich der Kommunikation zeitgenössischer Tänzer*innen legitim ist.
    Celem przedłożonego artykułu jest refleksja nad mikroskalą zaszyfrowanej komunikacji tancerzy współczesnych. W centrum zainteresowania znajdują się słowa klucze, którymi posługują się tancerze współcześni w procesie twórczym, podczas pracy nad spektaklem tanecznym. Zastosowanie metody obserwacji jawnej nieuczestniczącej pozwala na identyfikację słów kluczy stosowanych podczas prób do spektaklu tańca współczesnego, rozkodowanie ich znaczenia, określenie funkcji słów kluczy oraz motywów ich użycia. Tym samym możliwa staje się odpowiedź na pytanie o zasadność użycia określenia komunikacji tancerzy współczesnych mianem zaszyfrowana.
    The aim of the presented paper is to specify the micro-level of encoded communication between contemporary dancers. The focus of the statements is the identification of the key words that contemporary dancers use in the creative process while working on the performance. During the non-participating observation, which is considered a methodical approach, the key words are identified, their function and the motives for their use are determined on the basis of the analysis of the context. Thus, it becomes possible to answer the question about the legitimacy of using the term encoded for the communication of contemporary dancers.

    The article presents the short life of a trendy word post-truth borrowed from English into Polish as postprawda and into German as postfaktisch. The adaptation of the Oxford Dictionaries word of the year of 2016 became the word of the year 2016 in Germany and was used there much more frequently in German than in Polish. One of the reasons of the failure of the word in Polish was a wrong part of speech assignment: the English adjective post-truth, adapted into German as adjective, became a substantive in Polish and seemed to compete with the substantive prawda, one of the basic key words of today’s culture.
    Artykuł omawia krótki żywot modnego słowa angielskiego post-truth, zapożyczonego do języka niemieckiego jako postfaktisch i do polszczyzny jako postprawda. Adaptacja słowa roku słowników oksfordzkich 2016 wygrała plebiscyt na niemieckie słowo roku 2016 i była w niemieckim używana znacznie częściej niż w języku polskim. Jedną z możliwych przyczyn niepowodzenia tej pożyczki w polszczyźnie było nieodpowiednie zaklasyfikowanie do części mowy: przymiotnik post-truth zapożyczono jako rzeczownik postprawda, który zdawał się konkurować z podstawowym pojęciem prawdy, jednym ze słów kluczy kultury.
