    In the recent years, one can observe a growing interest in the creativity and its role in local and regional development. Creative businesses, industries, cities or regions seem to be not only a new trend but simply a fashion among both researchers and policy makers. Also the city of Łódź did not resist the desire to base a development on creative industries. Thus, in 2011, a strategy of building a brand of creative city was launched. After two years, a time for monitoring the first effects of the strategy has come. This paper is a description of the results of a interview-based research conducted among the dwellers of agglomeration of Łódź, aiming at verification of the reconcilability of new city brand and thusan effectiveness and efficacy of this new direction of promoting the city of Łódź.

    How can we think of a polysemous reality like that of brotherhood? We propose the theological paradigm of the frontier as a method. This paradigm will allow us: first, to read the forms of fraternity (in an articulation of the singular, the particular and the universal); second, to question fraternity anthropologically (which articulates the questions of origin, becoming and end); finally, to consider fraternity ethically (by questioning it from the face of the other, from the socio-cultural values, norms and principles that condition it).

    This article is written in French. The article is a presentation of a lecture delivered on the International Science Session “Ethics, Finances and Responsibility”, which took place on October the 3rd and 4th, 2008 in Chateau de Bossey near Geneva. Searching for sources of ethic thoughts connected with difficult moral problems of the contemporary world, the author deals with the oldest, well known writing about the ethical practice of medicine, the Hippocratic Oath. Presenting the plenteous, philosophical- ethical contents of the Oath and the history of the growth on it the Hippocratic tradition enriched in experience of the Christian anthropology, the author identifies its norms and rules. Unfortunately, since the Enlightenment times, especially the nineteenth century Positivism the tradition has been seriously disturbed. Together with the questioning the Aristotelean-Thomism anthropology, the doubts appeared related to the matter of protection of life since the conception until the natural death. Whereas new, legal regulations connected with the progress of in medical studies request deep anthropological and philosophical reflection, which would bring back the importance of the forgotten Hippocratic tradition, where in the center of medical actions is a man who needs help.
    Artykuł napisnay jest po francusku. Artykuł jest prezentacją wykładu wygłoszonego na Międzynarodowej Sesji Naukowej „Etyka, Finanse, odpowiedzialność” odbywającej się w dniach 3-4 października 2008 w Château de Bossey koło Genewy. Szukając źródeł refleksji etycznej nad trudnymi problemami moralnymi współczesnego świata autor zajął się najstarszym znanym tekstem etycznym ujmującym podstawowe zagadnienia moralne związane z wykonywaniem zawodu lekarza, jakim jest „Przysięga Hipokratesa”. Przedstawiając bogatą, z gruntu filozoficzno-etyczną treść „Przysięgi” oraz historię budowania się opartej na niej tradycji hipokratejskiej wzbogaconej o doświadczenie antropologii chrześcijańskiej autor identyfikuje podstawowe jej normy i zasady. Niestety, od czasów oświecenia, a szczególnie od dziewiętnastowiecznego pozytywizmu doszło do poważnego zachwiania tej tradycji. Wraz z zakwestionowaniem arystotelesowsko-tomistycznej antropologii pojawiła się wątpliwość dotycząca racji chronienia człowieka od poczęcia, aż do jego naturalnej śmierci. Tymczasem nowe regulacje prawne związane z postępem w naukach medycznych, domagają się głębokiej refleksji z poziomu antropologii filozoficznej, która przywróciłaby na nowo blask zapomnianej, tradycji hipokratejskiej, która w centrum medycznych działań stawia człowieka potrzebującego pomocy.

    Pisząc ten artykuł, staramy się wykazać, że związek między dydaktyką a socjologią może zmniejszyć nierówności edukacyjne. Uważamy, że musimy zerwać z podziałem różnych nauk, aby przejść do wspólnej wiedzy. Ta nowa wiedza naukowa będzie szczególnie przydatna we Francji do ograniczenia niepowodzeń szkolnych ze względu na heterogeniczność uczniów, aby uwzględniając wiedzę jako fakt społeczny, przyczynić się wraz ze specjalistami dydaktyki do integracji w transpozycji dydaktycznej osobistego związku ucznia z wiedzą. Transpozycja dydaktyczna i stosunek do wiedzy odsyłają nas do antropologii przedmiotu.
    With this article we aim to demonstrate that the link between didactics and sociology could reduce inequalities at school. We think we must break up with the partition between the different sciences and move towards a mutualised knowledge. This new scientific knowledge will contribute, particularly in France, to reduce school failure due to the heterogeneity between the pupils, to take into account knowledge as a social fact and doing so contribute with the didacticians to integrate in the didactic transposition the personal relationship of the learner to knowledge. The didactic transposition and the relationship to knowledge refer us to an anthropology of the subject.

    The biography of Boleslaw Lesmian (1877–1937) shows a maladjustment of artist to reality. The Poet escapes to the world of imagination — an alternative reality where he could be settled. In Boleslaw Lesmian’s imaginary the human way leads to the archetypal forest. The image of the forest, implanted deeply in culture as a place for outlaws (Robin Hood), fugitives (Tristan and Isolde) and knights-errant (Parsifal) is transformed by Lesmian. In the Lesmian’s imaginary the forest takes a new semantic dimension and becomes one of the main symbols as the Epiphany of the Mother Earth (Tellus Mater, Pammetor Ge). The analyses, presented in this article, shows that act of wandering in the forest paths is the symbol of a human way which leads to self-knowledge. For Lesmian, who was lost in everyday life, an archetypal figure of Mother Earth has an important therapeutic value. A methodological framework for the discussion is based on the concepts offered by Gilbert Durand, a French philosopher of culture. Anthropology of imagination as a method of literary studies focuses on mundus imaginalis of the author, understood as a manifestation of symbolic powers of imagination and the artist is perceived as an imaginative phenomenon. In the anthropological and myth-critical studies a canonical definition of myth is adopted after Gilbert Durand, where myth is a dynamic system of symbols (mythical figures), archetypes and imagery constituting narrations permanently incorporated into the culture. In Durand’s perspective, mythical figure (figure mythique) is an archetype imagery (image archétype) capable of being expressed at the language level. Imagination is understood as the Consciousness Breeding Imagery. Imagery provide a structure capable of transformations, enabling decomposition and transformation of imagery in cultural texts and their literary palingenesis.
