    In the recent years, one can observe a growing interest in the creativity and its role in local and regional development. Creative businesses, industries, cities or regions seem to be not only a new trend but simply a fashion among both researchers and policy makers. Also the city of Łódź did not resist the desire to base a development on creative industries. Thus, in 2011, a strategy of building a brand of creative city was launched. After two years, a time for monitoring the first effects of the strategy has come. This paper is a description of the results of a interview-based research conducted among the dwellers of agglomeration of Łódź, aiming at verification of the reconcilability of new city brand and thusan effectiveness and efficacy of this new direction of promoting the city of Łódź.

    This article asserts the urgent need of discernment in our hyper-connected and hyperaccelerated society, which drives people to frenetic activity and constant hurry. Besides, „the speed with which information is communicated exceeds our capacity for reflection and judgement”. The first part of the article focuses on discernment and indicates some of its characteristics. The second part reflects on how to practice it in order to meet the ethical challenges of our digital culture.

    Bénéficiaires de maints stages Erasmus, et enseignants et étudiants trouvent dans Internet l'école accessible à tout un chacun mais surtout un cyberchronotope familier aux uns et aux autres. Il est toutefois souhaitable que cette authenticité interactionnelle débouche sur l'authenticité situationnelle, que celle-là soit le prélude de celle-ci. En effet, les nouvelles technologies réduisent le décalage spatio-temporel entre le référent socio-culturel et la scène de la classe par la dématérialisation du premier, par la démultiplication des formes d'interaction (à partir du courriel ou les sms jusqu'aux jeux en réseau, au peer to peer, etc.). Néanmoins, miser tout sur les NTICE, sur le cyberchronotope, sur le virtuel, ne serait-il pas amputer l'acte de communication de sa dimension vivante? Si l'on se contente de la formation des seules compétences langagières négligeant la visée pragmatique, ne risque-t-on pas, comme les racines, de "chignonner", de nous enrouler sur nous-mêmes et rester in vitro? Nous allons tenter de répondre à ces questions en suivant les étapes de deux projets: depuis l'échange de courriels entre étudiants-acteurs avec un auteur dramatique français à la représentation d'une de ses pièces de théâtre; à partir de la communication via skype, facebook jusqu'à la mise en śuvre d'un projet gravitant autour de l'intention de "Connecter le monde, relier les gens, mieux vivre ensemble" et réunissant ESAS/HELMO de Liège, l'Université de Bacau, INAS (Tanger), l'Université de New Delhi (Inde).

    The aim of the article is to propose some reflections on digital literacy. The concept of digital literacy will be discussed in the context of foreign language teaching-learning process, especially in the context of teaching-learning French as a second/subsequent language at B1 level. The author will propose to analyse some coursebooks for teaching-learning French to adolescents and adults and she will focus her investigations on activities dedicated to develop the digital literacy of students.

    Digital skills are an important part of the skills required in the 21st century, enabling users to better utilise information and communication technologies (ICT) in different spheres of life. This article examines the integration of these skills into foreign language teaching. The first part of the article studies the notion of digital skills through initiatives undertaken at the European and the national level as well as the current role of digital technology in the language classroom. The second part of the article focuses on the possible integration of digital skills with the development of productive language skills through active methods (collaborative learning, project-based learning, problem-based learning). The preliminary examination shows that the use of these teaching strategies could possibly ensure the parallel development of language and digital skill.

    Plusieurs études se penchent ces dernières années sur la vie numérique des étudiants, aussi bien au lycée que dans l’enseignement supérieur. Nous passons d’abord en revue quelques travaux scientifiques, réalisés dans différents pays et qui essaient d’analyser quelle influence ont les technologies d’apprentissage sur sa qualité. Nous présentons ensuite l’enquête réalisée à l’Université Grenoble 2 auprès de tous les étudiants primoentrants en été 2012, enquête qui s’intéressait à leurs pratiques numériques, à leurs expériences numériques pour l’apprentissage, acquises au lycée et aux outils numériques utilisés éventuellement par les enseignants du secondaire, à leurs habitudes dans l’apprentissage des technologies et, enfin, à leurs attentes concernant les services numériques de l’université. Nous posons ensuite la question des modifications à prévoir en termes de missions de l’université par rapport aux services numériques, la place de ces outils dans les études et les changements qui interviendront probablement dans la relation entre les enseignants et les étudiants
