    Opis:
    A procedure for assessing the properties of a milling machine based on machining tests was presented, with particular emphasis on shape errors and properties of the workpiece surface layer. The selection of an appropriate test-piece and cutting parameters for such a test was discussed. A mathematical formula was also presented, which allows to associate the accuracy of the test-piece with that of the milling machine. The proposed test procedure was verified by evaluating the DMC 1035V Ecoline vertical machining centre.

    Opis:
    Ambiwalentny charakter skwantyfikowanej oceny cech rynkowych nieruchomości objawia się w każdym procesie estymacji wartości katastralnej bądź rynkowej. Przypisanie ustalonym atrybutom odpowiednich wartości jest bowiem subiektywną, bo uznaniową czynnością leżącą u podstaw analizy rynku. W niniejszym opracowaniu proponuje się więc algorytm oceny konfiguracji geometrycznej nieruchomości gruntowych, który w zamyśle autorów winien być wdrożony zwłaszcza do wycen, w których kontrowersyjny jest aspekt wielkościowo-geometryczny przedmiotu szacowania. Mowa głównie o ustalaniu opłaty adiacenckiej z tytułu podziału nieruchomości gruntowej. W proponowanej metodologii sumaryczne zestawienie współczynników zawartości i wydłużenia stanowi autonomiczną ocenę geometrii nieruchomości. Opracowanie wzbogacono o implementację autorskich rozwiązań do procesu szacowania wartości rynkowej.
    The ambivalent nature of quantified rating features market on properties is revealed in each estimation of cadastral or market value process. Assigning appropriate values to set attributes describing the property is subjective, but it is also necessary in the process of market analysis. On the pages of this paper is therefore proposed a algorithm rating geometrical configuration of land properties. Such an approach to the problem can be helpful in the planning when assessment factors of geometric configuration of the property represents, proposed by the authors, the coefficient of compactness. This coefficient is calculated as the ratio of the area of cadastral parcels to the surface area of the minimum bounding box. The proposed methodology for assessing the shape of land property allows for the elimination of the human factor in the real estate valuation. This article was enriched by empirical implementation of proprietary solutions to the process of estimating the market value of land property.

    Opis:
    Despite the tendency of the current industry, especially the automotive industry, it is to use modern, light and super-strong materials based on Al or HSLA steels, the application of classic materials such as cast iron still makes sense, especially concerning price and excellent castability. The article presents one of the possible ways of using the ultrasonic non-destructive method in quality control and simpli-fication of the identification of the type of cast iron concerning the change of parameters of ultrasound propagation in materials. The main criteria for assessing the quality and determining the type of graphite cast iron were considered to be the rate of propagation of ultrasound - cL and the value of attenuation , which vary depending on the shape of the graphite and matrix. Graphitic cast irons with different graphite shapes (lamellar, vermicular, and globular shapes) and a matrix with different ferrite/perlite ratios were used as experimental material. Along with the ultrasonic tests, a metallographic analysis was also performed to quantify the microstructure of cast irons.
