Opis:
This paper presents the results of a study that explored the experiences of adult educators during the COVID-19 pandemic. This online survey was conducted in June 2020 and included directors and teachers in adult education from various institutions in Slovenia. Tutors at Slovenian Third-Age Universities and other associations that provided adult education were also included. The aim of our study was to examine how distance education was implemented during the pandemic, using the concept of ‘emergency remote teaching’ (Hodges, 2020). The study sample included 30 directors of adult education institutions and 124 teachers or tutors. The results showed that organisations providing adult education responded during the lockdown by providing adults with the opportunity to continue their education through distance learning. However, this was not the case for all of adult education programmes. Mostly language courses and formal education were offered. The results show that most adult educators quickly adapted to the new working conditions, but that teaching approaches were rather static and asynchronous teaching solutions. An analysis of the problems teachers faced and the support they needed has shown that action is needed to remove the obstacles to the future provision of adult education as much as possible.

Opis:
The article presents the results of the questionnaire research carried out after the first and repeated after the second semester of crisis distance education, conducted at the Academy of Special Education. Academic lecturers participating in the study indicate a significant decrease in the level of commitment, activity, the regularity of work and the quality of performing tasks presented by students. Lecturers benefit from training and technical support organized by the university. They feel an acute inability to contact students personally, but appreciate the time savings and no need to travel to work. The respondents point to the problem of controlling student integrity during remote examinations. Growing experience in remote education results in higher IT competences and conviction to this type of teaching.

Opis:
The article presents the results of the questionnaire research carried out after the first and repeated after the second semester of crisis remote education, conducted at The Maria Grzegorzewska University. Students participating in the study indicate a significant increase in their IT competences and the level of remote education. They declare a similar, high level of commitment and independence during classes. They indicate that commitment, activity, contact with the lecturers, regularity and quality of work, as well as the adequacy of the grades given are better during traditional education, although their timeliness is higher during distance education. The computer equipment of students and the way of accessing the Internet have not changed significantly. 20% of respondents admitted to using unauthorized assistance during exams. In the statements of students, on the one hand, there is a desire to return to social contacts and traditional classes, and on the other hand, a desire to maintain remote education, associated with the comfort of home-based learning and independence.

Opis:
The article concerns the opinion on stationary and remote examinations carried out during the COVID-19 pandemic, perceived from the perspective of the assessed students. The study aimed to find out about the students' perspective on remote final and midterm exams at The Maria Grzegorzewska University and to attempt to compare it with the traditional examination. The subject of the research was, among others, the forms of checking knowledge and skills, problems arising during the exams, as well as the way of taking into account the special needs of the exam-takers. The students' opinions on the above-mentioned issues and their preferences regarding the examination situation were taken into account. The research used the method of diagnostic survey. The obtained results indicate that students during remote exams declare a higher level of stress related to potential technical problems, and in the case of stationary examinations the problem is chaos, noise and distraction. Regardless of the form of the exam, a similar percentage of students declare that they do not cheat - 73.53% during full-time exams, 68.49% pass fair during remote exams. The most common form of cheating during remote examinations is the use of previously prepared notes (21.85%), and 2.52% use the help of colleagues.

Opis:
The article concerns the opinion on stationary and remote examinations carried out during a pandemic, perceived from the perspective of examiners. The aim of the study was to find out about the perspective of academic teachers on remote examination at The Maria Grzegorzewska University and to compare it with the traditional, stationary exams. The subject of the research were, inter alia, the forms of checking knowledge and skills used by lecturers, the motivations driving their choice, problems arising during the exams, as well as the way of taking into account the special needs of the examinees. The research used the method of diagnostic survey. The obtained results indicate that, according to the lecturers, the students' independence during remote exams is smaller and the intensity of using unauthorized help by them is greater. Remote exams generate more problems - technical and related to the dishonesty of students. Lecturers hardly recognize and take into account the special educational needs of students during remote exams.

Opis:
The main objective of the paper is to show the new challenges for education that arose in Poland from 2019-2021, and the use of e-learning methods. This new approach, and the purpose and added value of this study, is to enrich the knowledge of the use of new teaching and research methods gained during the Covid-19 pandemic and applicability to pandemics generally, as well as continued use of these methods afterwards.. To achieve the objective, the method of literature analysis and critique was used, as well as a ratio analysis based on historical data from Statistics Poland (GUS), EUROSTAT and the author’s own first-hand observations as a university educator. The research results helped to formulate several conclusions regarding the factors which influence effective e-learning, such as: internet access and quality; the availability of adequate software, hardware and other tools; and the digital competence of teachers and students. A short SWOT analyse is also presented to highlight key considerations that are crucial for the future of e- learning.
Głównym celem pracy było ukazanie konieczności podjęcia nowych wyzwań w edukacji z wykorzystaniem metod e-learningowych w Polsce w latach 2019-2021. Nowym podejściem oraz celem i wartością dodaną opracowania było wzbogacenie wiedzy na temat wykorzystania nowych metod dydaktycznych i badawczych w sytuacji pandemii, ale także po niej. Do realizacji celu wykorzystano metodę analizy i krytyki literatury, a także analizę wskaźnikową opartą na danych historycznych z GUS, EUROSTATU i obserwacji własnej. Przeprowadzone badania pozwoliły na sformułowanie kilku wniosków związanych z czynnikami wpływającymi na e-learning, takimi jak dostęp do Internetu, stosowane narzędzia oraz kompetencje cyfrowe nauczycieli i uczniów. Przedstawiono również krótką analizę SWOT, co jest kluczowe dla przyszłości e-learningu.

Opis:
Katedra techniky a informačných technológií rieši projekty so zameraním na vzdialené laboratóriá v dištančných formách vzdelávania, ktoré môžu používať študenti odbornej univerzitnej katedry jednak v dištančnej forme a zároveň aj v rámci kontaktných hodín na cvičeniach. Pre vytvorenie vzdialených laboratórií pre pneumatický systém budú použité technické prostriedky využívajúce prvky PLC spolu s internetovým rozhraním pre vzdialený prístup a priamy prístup, metodiky a vzdelávacie materiály vhodné pre zaradenie do vzdelávacieho procesu. Overením navrhovaných experimentov bude zároveň riešený aj výskum vplyvu takýchto experimentov pre rozvoj kompetencií budúcich učiteľov odborných technických predmetov, čo je v súčasnosti veľmi potrebné, vzhľadom na rozvoj duálneho vzdelávania. Prínos projektu spočíva v tom, že vzdialený prístup k laboratóriám spolu s kontaktným vyučovaním umožní užívateľovi získavať nové poznatky z oblasti pneumatického systému. Predkladaný projekt svojimi výstupmi prispeje k zvýšeniu kompetencií učiteľov odborných technických predmetov z predmetnej oblasti.
The Department of Technique and Information Technologies deals with problems focused on remote laboratories in the distant forms of education, which can be used by students of specialised university department in the distant form, as well as, during contact hours at seminars. To create remote laboratories for pneumatic system will be used hardware elements using the PLC together with a web interface for remote access and direct approach, methodology and educational materials suitable for inclusion in the educational process. By verification of the proposed experiments will also be solved the impact of such experiments on developing the competence of future teachers of technical subjects, which is currently very necessary, given the development of dual education. Contribution of the project lies in the fact that remote access to laboratories along with contact teaching allows the user to gain new knowledge in the field of pneumatic system. The present project will by its outputs contribute to increasing competencies of teachers of technical subjects in this area.

Opis:
Remote laboratories for measurement and control represent an ever growing field in the distant teaching of engineering and technology students. The existing remote laboratories for motion control with feedback control devices are reviewed in this paper. The feasibility of a new motor feedback control web-based laboratory for e-teaching is discussed. A FPGA-based hardware solution for a universal motion control test bench, including a processing board and data acquisition board, is proposed.
Zdalne laboratoria służące do pomiarów i sterowania stanowią sektor o rosnącym znaczeniu w nauczaniu na dystans studentów kierunków inżynierskich i technologicznych. Artykuł zawiera przegląd istniejących zdalnych laboratoriów służących do sterowania ruchomymi obiektami ze sprzężeniem zwrotnym. Możliwość implementacji nowego internetowego laboratorium opartego o silniki elektryczne ze sprzężeniem zwrotnym do e-nauczania, jest w centrum dyskusji. Proponowane jest rozwiązanie hadwarowe oparte o FPGA dla uniwersalnego stanowiska pomiarowego do sterowania silników elektrycznych, zawierającego układ przetwarzający i interfejs.
