    Opis:
    The analysis of architectural peculiarities of the Christian educational institutions of the theological-humanitarian type, as based on the example of the Ukrainian Catholic University building complex in Lviv, was done in the article. The factors having the major influence on formation of architectural and space-planning organization and on stylistic decisions of the buildings of Christian theological-humanitarian institutions in Ukraine have been distinguished.

    Ukrainian researchers face the challenge of the acquisition of foreign language skills at least at B2 level. The available formal opportunities do not satisfy their needs to the full. The initiative of the Institute of Pedagogical and Adult education of the National Academy of educational Sciences of Ukraine to organize peer-to-peer eSL and eAP courses is described and analyzed in the article in order to identify the factors which can stimulate the learning process of the specific category of adult learners. As a result, 4 groups of them were distinguished: andragogical, didactic, course and peer-to-peer principles. The conclusion was made that these principles can create an adequate theoretical and methodological basis for realizing the initiative in practice.

    The article deals with the language individual features in the contemporary Polish reportage based on the text Zabójca z miasta moreli: reportaże z Turcji by Witold Szabłowski. The author presents both the statistical analysis and the stylistic peculiarities of this reportage which was prized a prestigious Beata Pawlak Award in 2011 and contains important components characteristic for the journalistic style. The author uses the traditional syntactic model of Zenon Klemensiewicz and takes into consideration Stanisław Jodłowski’s research achievements. According to the postulates of Anna Wierzbicka, Maria Rachwałowa, Stanisław Mikołajczak, and Marek Ruszkowski, she selects a sample of 200 utterances which are examples of such narrative constructions that strongly indicate subjectiveness. In her research, firstly, she conducts a detailed analysis of the syntactic and statistical features of Szabłowski's text in comparison with the style of the contemporary Polish reportage. Secondly, she draws attention to stylistic unique features indicating the reporting syntax. As a result, the author notices the following language individual features in Zabójca z miasta moreli: reportaże z Turcji by Witold Szabłowski: 1)  simple utterances and direct and indirect objects in the developed sentences, 2) developed clauses and adverbials, 3) objective hypotaxis, and 4) adverbial hypotaxis.
    Artykuł traktuje o językowych indywidualizmach we współczesnym polskim reportażu na podstawie tekstu Zabójca z miasta moreli. Reportaże z Turcji Witolda Szabłowskiego. Autorka prezentuje zarówno statystyczny kształt, jak i stylistyczne osobliwości omawianego reportażu, który został wyróżniony Nagrodą im. Beaty Pawlak w 2011 roku oraz zawiera ważne wyróżniki charakterystyczne dla stylu publicystycznego. Ramy znaczeniowe terminu reportaż określa, posiłkując się definicjami Janusza Sławińskiego, Czesława Niedzielskiego oraz Juliana Maślanki. W swojej pracy używa tradycyjnego modelu składniowego Zenona Klemensiewicza, uwzględniając ważne osiągnięcia naukowe Stanisława Jodłowskiego. Zgodnie z postulatami Anny Wierzbickiej, Marii Rachwałowej, Stanisława Mikołajczaka oraz Marka Ruszkowskiego spośród konstrukcji narracyjnych, które silnie wpływają na podmiotowość stylu, dobiera próbę równą 200 wypowiedzeń. W badaniach w pierwszej kolejności dokonuje szczegółowej analizy syntaktycznego i stylistycznego kształtu tekstu Szabłowskiego w porównaniu do stylu współczesnego polskiego reportażu. Następnie zwraca szczególną uwagę na stylistyczne indywidualizmy wskazujące na wykorzystanie składni sprawozdawczo-raportującej. W rezultacie autorka zauważa, że w reportażu Zabójca z miasta moreli. Reportaże z Turcji Witolda Szabłowskiego 1) przewaga konstrukcji pojedynczych oraz dopełnień w zdaniach rozwiniętych świadczą o dynamizacji akcji, 2) często używane w konstrukcjach rozwiniętych okoliczniki potęgują dokumentarność, 3) zdania hipotaktyczne dopełnieniowe wskazują na raportowanie i przytaczanie, 4) zdania złożone podrzędnie okolicznikowo pełnią stylistyczną funkcję eksplikacyjną.

    Opis:
    The article explores COVID-19 related Internet memes and treats them as samples of creolized text in a study of the way ethnic and cultural peculiarities of memes are perceived by representatives of two radically different cultural paradigms: the Russians and Chinese. A survey is used as a method of the investigation. Russian and Chinese students, and visual arts experts evaluated Russian and Chinese COVID-19 memes according to several criteria concerning their content, verbal constituent element and visual characteristics. The study concluded that the social and culture-specific components mostly contribute to forming the opinion of the meme and its appreciation. Awareness of both the cultural background and the current social and nation-specific situation is required to decode a full amount of information contained in a meme. Equally important is the visual component in understanding the meme. Thus, the study contributes not only to studying event-specific memes but also broadens the scope of research on memes as a sample of visual culture.

    The author examines the causes of regional differences, suggests the scenarios for smoothing regional inequalities, and identifies new trends for low economic potential regions. Analyzing a variety of concepts, models and approaches, the article provides the deep investigation of regional development peculiarities in Ukraine. The use of econometric modelling proposes the special regional policy measures could be the effective tools for regional inequalities reduction, and the economic growth stimulation. Assessing the scientific and industrial potential regions the author focuses on diversification of industrial structure, priority innovation development, and economic growth in backward regions. The western region traditionally has agrarian production orientation. The competition is still weaker at regional level. Concentration has a negative and highly significant effect on labour productivity growth. In spite of human capital endowment in Ukraine, one could mention the low labour productivity level in basic sectors of economy. The essence of the regional integration is determined as the process in which countries organise regional unions, cooperate with each other and coordinate any forms of activities in order to stimulate economic prosperity, strengthen trade relation, develop infrastructure, and stimulate mutually profitable relations among each other. The regional policy determination considers the regional disparities elimination and suggestion of the scenarios for smoothing regional inequalities. The main directions of regional development could be determined in accordance with regions’ belongings to the special cluster group.

    Danger of pollution of water areas of the Sea of Azov and the Kerch Strait from possible technogenic catastrophes is diagnosed as a result of comparison of wind power calculations and the current state of coast of the gulf. Ideas of a uniform West Temryuk stream of deposits are disproved. Three dynamic systems in the east and in the center of a coastal arch and the unidirectional alongshore stream of pollutants and energy in the western segment of the Temryuk gulf are revealed.

    Opis:
    The issue of the safety of the educational process is not new for society, but it becomes especially relevant when one or another region falls into a zone of conflict, military aggression, or occupation. That is, when the possibilities of providing basic human needs, even at the elementary level, are violated, in particular, due to external factors, such as the unpredictability of security factors, taking into account the aggressive policy of a neighboring state. On October 29, 2021, the UN Security Council adopted resolution 2601 (2021), which strongly condemns attacks on schools, children and teachers and, in fact, for the first time, focuses directly on the link between education and peace and security. Resolution 2601 (2021) emphasizes the invaluable role that education plays for individuals and society, particularly as a vital safe space. They noted that the provision, protection and promotion of continuing education during armed conflict must remain a key priority for the international community.
