The article discusses the problem of the relationship between marketing science and institutional economy. Its goal is to examine the impact of institutional economy on the way of scientific cognition in marketing. The article was prepared on the basis of the study of the relevant Polish and foreign research literature, particularly concerning marketing theory. The methodology of the present study is based on the considerations taken up in deduction with the support of descriptive and comparative analysis. The impact of institutional economy on the method of scientific cognition in marketing results in the interest of marketing science not only in an enterprise but also in an effort to describe the external factors (externalities) and social costs related to marketing activities of enterprises. Of importance is also the understanding of the functioning of the structure of the marketing system as well as the reactions of the institutions responsible for the implementation of the country’s marketing policy. The analysis conducted for the purpose of this study leads to a general conclusion that marketing and science devoted to it are not homogeneous in epistemological terms and a significant dualism between the two can be pointed out. It encompasses traditional marketing which stems from management and marketing referring to the institutional economy of higher level.
W artykule podjęto problem związku nauki o marketingu z ekonomią instytucjonalną, a jego celem jest ukazanie wpływu ekonomii instytucjonalnej na sposób poznania naukowego w marketingu. Artykuł przygotowano na podstawie studiów literatury przedmiotu krajowej i zagranicznej, zwłaszcza publikacji z zakresu teorii marketingu. Metodologiczną kanwę prowadzonych w artykule rozważań stanowi metoda dedukcji wspomagana przez analizę opisową i porównawczą. Wpływ ekonomii instytucjonalnej na sposób poznania naukowego w marketingu skutkuje zainteresowaniem nauki o marketingu nie tylko przedsiębiorstwem, lecz również dążeniem do opisania czynników zewnętrznych (externalities) i kosztów społecznych związanych z działaniami marketingowymi przedsiębiorstw, zrozumienia zachowań i struktury systemu marketingowego oraz reakcji instytucji odpowiedzialnych za realizację polityki marketingowej państwa. Przeprowadzona analiza pozwala na sformułowanie generalnego wniosku, że marketing i poświęcona mu nauka nie jest jednorodna pod względem epistemologicznym i wykazuje w tym zakresie wyraźny dualizm. Obejmuje wyrosły z zarządzania tradycyjny marketing oraz odwołujący się do ekonomii instytucjonalnej marketing wyższego poziomu.

The purpose of the present study is to analyze the strategic management of the marketing policy of the Bulgarian market of an international company which has already five years presence in our country - BANDEROL. The company is headquartered in Bulgaria but has a presence in a number of European countries. The tasks are placed to achieve the objective related to clarify theoretically some basic aspects of marketing policy, presentation of the company „excise stamp”, analysis of the main activities in the quality of goods company, and analysis of marketing policy company.
Celem niniejszego badania jest analiza strategicznego zarządzania polityką marketingową bułgarskiego rynku - międzynarodowej firmy, która już od pięciu lat działa w naszym kraju - BANDEROL. Siedziba firmy znajduje się w Bułgarii, ale jest obecna w wielu krajach europejskich. Zadania te mają na celu osiągnięcie celu związanego z teoretycznym wyjaśnieniem niektórych podstawowych aspektów polityki marketingowej, prezentacją „pieczęci akcyzowej” spółki; analizę głównych działań w zakresie jakości wyrobów firmy oraz analizą polityki marketingowej firmy.

In the article stages of marketing distribution policy diagnostics are defined. At the first stage, it is proposed to analyse factors of enterprise internal and external environment (gathering information about general trends in the markets and factors of micro-environment (customers, competitors, suppliers, intermediaries, contact audiences). It is approved that analysis of general trends of the market’s development give an opportunity to determine the state of the enterprise macro-environment. At the same time, it is defined that the greatest influence on the marketing distribution policy provide such internal subsystems of the enterprise, as material and production, information, social, marketing and financial. At the second stage of marketing distribution policy diagnostics, researchers propose to analyse the internal system of marketing distribution policy at the enterprise. It is determined that the effectiveness of marketing distribution policy can be defined basing on indicators that can be combined in the following groups: 1) indicators of the enterprise’s market share (the market share of the enterprise, the rate of the market share increase), 2) indicators of sales activities profitability (the rate of profit from sales increase (decrease), the rate of receivables increase (decrease), product profitability, sales profitability), 3) indicators of sales expenses efficiency (sales volume of expenses, the rate of sales expenses increase (decrease), the ratio of increase (decrease) in sales from the sales costs increase (decrease), the profitability of investment in marketing and sales), 4) indicators of inventory (inventory levels, the proportion of unsold commodities in the value of the produced commodities, the coefficient of inventory turnover) and 5) indicators of service level (the rate of complaints increase (decrease), the rate of concluded contracts number increase (decrease)). And the third stage of marketing distribution policy diagnostics, it is recommended to identify internal (e.g., lack of sales personnel evaluation system, risk of marketing channels incorrect choice, risk of distribution strategies incorrect selection, risk of sales activity costs increasing, low level of assortment renovation and others) and external (e.g., foreign risk, inflation risk, tax risk, political risk, risk of legislative changes, risk of target segment incorrect selection, high level of competitive forces influence and others) sales risks that affect or may affect marketing distribution policy.

The article focuses on the characteristics of regional policy, regional development, regional marketing and regional marketing communication from a theoretical perspective. Subsequently, we characterize research that was realized in 2019 and included V4 countries - Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, along with Serbia. Its aim was to characterize the main reasons of the failure of small and medium-sized enterprises and approach the current challenges of small and medium entrepreneurships, the main question we tried to answer was- How to prevent SMEs from failure? The activities related to the project led to the clarification of different aspects of business activities that can lead to successful and/or unsuccessful entrepreneurial activities. For the purpose of this article, we have selected eight research questions from Slovakia that are currently relevant to the topic of the article. We outline the main obstacles to business success in Slovakia, we characterize external factors that created business difficulties and three questions deal with marketing and marketing communication, because standing in a strong competitive environment requires, among other things, the ability to sell one´s business to customers. The aim of the article is to point out the factors that influence business and success in the market of small and medium enterprises in Slovakia.

The purpose of the article is to demonstrate the close relationship between regional development and territorial marketing, which based on the implementation of the marketing concept focuses on creating regional and local products and their effective positioning towards potential buyers. The presented thesis is a result of reflection on using regional marketing in creating regional policy, based on consideration of the specific features of the region which marketing specialists are supposed to know in order to create a marketing plan for the respective region. Further, the marketing plan may be used in the political strategy of regional development based on the satisfaction of the residents’ needs and their individual development. The care of politicians, who fulfil their functions following the election by the citizens, and the development of residents would coexist with the creation of regional development. The phenomena should be closely interrelated. When describing the interrelation from a scientific perspective, it must be said that synergy of the indicated types of activity depends on a series of facts and correlations which fall within various scientific domains. Therefore, there is a need for multidisciplinary approach. The authors of the article hypothesize that management of regional development should be supported by the professional use of regional marketing, taking into account the assumption that each organization should shape its impact system by analysing its needs, already used solutions and the needs of its stakeholders. The views expressed are based on the analysis of selected literature.

The present research aims to achieve a retrospective analysis of sustainable policies for the development of beekeeping in Romania, an important sector that contributes to the development of rural areas. Romanian’s objectives regarding the development of this sector are based on the adoption of a clear vision and on the support of state, materialised by the National Beekeeping Program. The assessment of the program implementation reveals the following aspect: in the analyzed period 2008- 2010, an improvement of the access to funds can be observed, the level of absorption increasing from 16.8% in 2008 to 99.8% in 2010. The consequences following the funds accession are an increase of associative forms and a restoration of beekeeping exploitations. Nevertheless, there are still problems in the North East regions of the country, due to lack of information regarding the accession to funds. These problems could be solved by creating a platform that should constantly reunite beekeepers, researchers and specialists of the sector that share their experience and skills, establishing a dialogue between all the actors in the beekeeping chain.

The article deals with classical and innovation methods used in pedagogical process at universities and their influence on development of capabilities of graduates of faculties. Capabilities which students obtain in education process complete their professional profile and can be helpful in ensuring their employability in the labour market. Therefore it is very important to promote process-oriented pedagogical approaches as a specific tool of marketing mix of universities and innovation methods as an integral part of this tool. The use of modern teaching methods is a sign of significant competitive advantage nowadays. Universities should pay attention to examining opportunities to streamline the tools of communication policy in their promotion. Responses to new forms of marketing communication presenting new process-oriented pedagogical approaches can also help universities with redefinition of their target audiences.
Tematem artykułu jest pedagogiczne podejście procesowe. W przypadku gdy nauczyciele stosują skuteczne metody nauczania, mogą wpływać oni na pozytywną reakcję mającą miejsce na rynkach docelowych a także zwiększyć prestiż i popularność instytucji naukowych. W porównaniu z klasycznymi metodami (wykład, seminarium, dyskusja, pokaz), które mają na celu przekazywanie informacji, metody innowacyjne mają na celu rozwijanie osobowości uczniów i ich możliwości, więc metody te przygotowują uczniów do odniesienia sukcesu na rynku pracy.

In the study of general public diplomacy, China can be regarded as a special example with regard to all case studies. E. Gilboa defines a 'framework of analysis' in which public diplomacy is broken down into three parts: a short initial period, a medium period, and a long period. The article will focus on the latter period of the framework of analysis, represented by the two periods since the founding of the People's Republic of China.For this academic inquiry, M. Leonard's instruments for public diplomacy, from domains such as those of NGOs and political parties, were analysed. In addition to these tools, external propaganda was also researched. The period from 1949 to 1978 was the first phase of the public diplomacy of the PRC. At the beginning of the founding of New China, the official diplomatic space was relatively narrow because there were few countries that had established diplomatic relations with China. Public diplomacy could have played a larger role. The article analyses mostly the diplomatic environment and the modes of practice for the main actors within Chinese public diplomacy. It also takes China's diplomatic relations with Japan as a case study of success. It examines all public diplomacy practices from 1979 until the present time. China faces the task of interpreting itself through public diplomacy and shaping its image for the rest of the world. This article also pays close attention to China's public initiatives, offered to the outside world through the One Belt One Road initiative. The author analyses the construction process of the objectives of public diplomacy and reveals its intrinsic direction, from idealism to realism, and eventually back to idealism. The article also examines the relationship between public diplomacy and China's traditional official diplomacy.(original abstract)
