Opis:
The purpose of this research is to identify the essence and features that allow for the identification of intelligent organisations and an assessment of their maturity, taking their competitive advantages into account. In addition, it aims at formulating recommendations on how to study intelligent organisations while considering competitive advantages and monitored changes in this area. A hypothesis is formed that the intelligent organisation is a source of competitive advantage for companies. These advantages are not permanent, though. The article is based on a critical review of national and foreign literature, as well as experience resulting from direct involvement and observations while participating in research focused on intelligent organisations. The research was a part of the Żagle Biznesu (Sails of Business) competition organised by the SGH Warsaw School of Economics in 2018 and 2019. According to the author, an intelligent organisation is one where decision-making is based on collecting, analysing, interpreting, sharing and storing valuable data and information, which can be used at the right time to solve problems and generate the competitive advantage of a company. The type of leadership and emotional intelligence of key people involved have a great impact on the development opportunities of companies creating intelligent organisations. In small companies, apart from a strong dependence on the type of leadership and focusing on a particular type of innovation, there is a lack of development strategy. Poor awareness of the need for development, as well as vulnerability to internal and external shocks (volatility), causes instability in previously achieved levels of intelligence. Small companies in a type of intelligent organisation can compete in the operational sphere, based on such factors as technology, quick response, good timing and better dealing with individual customers. At the same time, small companies can strengthen their competitive advantages related to costs and quality through dedicated operating systems in a way which is typical of large companies. Although these advantages are not permanent, some of them may be duplicated and modified.

Opis:
The lapping process is one of the traditional finishing processes and generally it is conducted as manual process by skilled worker. The productivity of these manual processes is lower and difficult to control. Hence, we developed an automatic lapping system for moulds and dies. The lapping system consists of simple lapping tools and conventional milling machine. Several materials were machined as mirror like surface using the system. The lapping conditions are usually decided by skilled worker's experience or knowhow. Therefore, in this study, an intelligent lapping system with the optimum conditions calculated by the lapping model was developed. Specifically, the relationship between the finished quality (surface roughness Rz and improvement rate of Rz) and each parameter of the system, Vickers hardness of work piece and lapping head, lapping pressure, grain size, is investigated. Then, an intelligent lapping system is developed. Finally, the HPM31 are machined as confirmatory experiment by developed system with calculated lapping conditions. It is concluded from the result that: (1) The relationship between the surface roughness and lapping parameter was cleared. (2) The intelligent lapping system using the lapping model was developed. (3) The estimated limit surface roughness and improvement rate by calculated condition satisfactorily agreed with the experimental results.

QZSS
land navigation
intelligent transport systems
Opis:
For ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems), especially for land vehicles, precise position is the prime information. GNSS is the most popular navigation system. Generally, ITS demands lane distinguishable positioning accuracy. However urban area is most environments of land vehicles and the signal blocks of satellite with low elevation angle, multipath error and etc. make unreliable positioning results. Especially, lack of number of visible satellites (fewer than 4 satellites) cannot provide positioning results. QZSS (Quasi-Zenith Satellite System) which operated by Japan has high interoperability. In addition, its elevation angle is very high in long time in Korea. It means QZSS signal can be received in urban area and it can be great advantage for land vehicles. The most positioning errors are occurred by multipath, cycle slip, and etc. For example, multipath error is unexpected momentary error. In order to reduce position error, smoothing technique in position domain is needed. In this paper, precise positioning for land vehicles was evaluated. First, by using QZSS, probability of navigation solution was enhanced. Second, the reliability is improved by smoothing positioning result using Doppler measurement. The analysis was performed by trajectory analysis using precise map data.
Dla inteligentnych systemów transportowych, zwłaszcza w odniesieniu do pojazdów lądowych, dokładna informacja o pozycji jest pierwszorzędna. Systemy satelitarne (GNSS) to obecnie najbardziej popularne systemy nawigacyjne. Zasadniczo inteligentne systemy transportowe wymagają znajomości pozycji determinowanej warunkami drogowymi, a obszary miejskie stanowią środowisko, w którym porusza się największa liczba pojazdów lądowych.

The agent technology has recently become one of the most vibrant and fastest growing areas in information technology. On of the most promising characteristics of agent is its intelligence. Intelligent agent is the agent that percepts its environment, collects all information about its environment that it needs, processes these information and then generate proper actions according to these information. This paper discusses trends and differences between two main types of intelligence that can be applied to agent: accumulative intelligence and dynamic intelligence. Accumulative intelligence is discussed with its two perspectives: moment perspective and historical perspective. Auto-vehicle driver is also discussed as an application example of accumulative intelligence. Also, MOSAIC, Mimesis, and MINDY models are reviewed as the pioneering works of dynamic intelligence.

Opis:
In this paper, we use an intelligent method for improving the Apriori algorithm in order to extract frequent itemsets. PAA (the proposed Apriori algorithm) pursues two goals: first, it is not necessary to take only one data item at each step – in fact, all possible combinations of items can be generated at each step; and second, we can scan only some transactions instead of scanning all of the transactions to obtain a frequent itemset. For performance evaluation, we conducted three experiments with the traditional Apriori, BitTableFI, TDM-MFI, and MDC-Apriori algorithms. The results exhibited that the algorithm execution time was significantly reduced due to the significant reduction in the number of transaction scans to obtain the itemset. As in the first experiment, the time that was spent to generate frequent items underwent a reduction of 52% as compared to the algorithm in the first experiment. In the second experiment, the amount of time that was spent was equal to 65%, while in the third experiment, it was equal to 46%.
