Opis:
A notion for distance between hesitant fuzzy data is given. Using this new distance notion, we propose the technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution for hesitant fuzzy sets and a new approach in modelling uncertainties. An illustrative example is constructed to show the feasibility and practicality of the new method.

Opis:
The specific nature of project management causes that the selection of the right people to join the project team has become crucial to the success of any project. The present study aims at showing the role of a well-chosen project team in the project management regardless of whether the project is run according to traditional or agile methodologies. Special attention has been paid to the decision making process in project team with the use of traditional and agile methodologies. In case of traditional, classical methodologies, more efficient are teams of highly qualified specialists, which are able to make decisions, more often individual ones, as quickly as possible and precisely. Given the fact that in agile methodologies there is greater decisiveness of the team, group decisions are made more often. Management’s confidence in project team is of vital importance in agile methodologies. In order to fulfill the aim of the study, traditional and agile methodologies for project management have been briefly characterized, the process of project team building and the results of scientific research pointing to significant role of the project team in project management have been presented. It has been stressed out that, regardless of the chosen methodology, while selecting project team members it is important to consider not only members’ knowledge or experience, but also relevant personality traits and interpersonal skills (social skills). However, it should be pointed out that given the specific nature of the agile methodologies, social skills of team members become incredibly important, and in many cases more important than professional competences.

Multiple criteria problems in cultural tourism
Opis:
Creating local cultural tourism products (CTPs) requires the involvement of many entities, e.g., local government units, culture and tourism institutions, non-government organisations, etc., as well as organisational, technical, financial, and human resources. When deciding on a future product venture, it is important to establish visions, goals, or the product’s desired functions common to all these actors. Then, the alternative instances of such CTP need to be designed and examined from the viewpoint of these goals, which may be mutually exclusive due to the various preferences of the actors. Furthermore, despite their importance, these criteria may conflict with, e.g., the tourism policy of local authorities. The issues mentioned above make the decisions regarding creating CTPs very complex and have behavioural, group multiple criteria character. This paper aims to identify the structural elements of creating the best possible CTP promoting local post-industrial heritage in the Czeladź Commune. The specific assumptions, conditions, and criteria are defined to formulate the problem for further consideration using multiple criteria group decision-making (GDM) approaches.

Opis:
The article looks into the meaning of concepts of L2 Self, L2 Ideal self and L2 Motivational Self Systems from the point of view of their useful-ness for SLA/FLT research. Psychological and sociological terminology related to the Self, Identity, Storied Self, Social Identity and Ethnicity is then discussed as well as various types of the Self useful in the analysis of attitudes to first, second and foreign languages. Examples of linguistic decisions are offered that lead to language maintenance, language loss or changes of the dominant language. Linguistic behaviour is traced back to possible ways of presenting the Self as well as to different approaches to ethnicity, integration and assimilation. Conclusions and implications for classroom language learning and teacher education are also presented.
