Opis:
The purpose of this study was to explore the degree of Confucian awareness among Korean university students, and to develop more effective education measures. Before the experiment, Korean university students preferred a cramming teaching method (CTM) and an audiovisual teaching method (ATM). After observing four education methods such as the CTM, the discussion teaching method (DTM), the mixed teaching method of cramming and discussion (MTM), and the audiovisual teaching method (ATM) over two weeks, however, the study found that freshmen and sophomore students prefer the MTM, while junior and senior students prefer the DTM. This implies that the preferred teaching method for Korean university students is the CTM when the level of Confucian awareness is high, but as the level of awareness is reduced, the method progresses to DTM through MTM. In other words, it could be found that different methods of education need to be employed depending on the degree of identified Confucian-style values of students.

To find a more effective teaching method, the acceptance of migrant brides from China, Vietnam, and Japan of Korean history was investigated using the survey method. Four types of teaching methods were investigated. Before participating in the survey, migrant brides from Vietnam preferred the cramming teaching method (CTM), and those from China and Japan favored an audiovisual teaching method (ATM). However, after experiencing four types of teaching methods for a week—the CTM, ATM, comparative-history teaching method (CHTM), and discussion teaching method (DTM)—participants from Vietnam indicated the highest preference for ATM, whereas those from Japan and China preferred CHTM. Ultimately, this study demonstrated that a comparative-history teaching method is most effective for teaching migrant brides from countries with a history of recurrent cultural conflicts with Korea.

This study aims to examine the current status of Chinese Confucian ideas that have affected Korean youth culture and to draw up more effective education methods. A survey was conducted after teaching three different groups with the use of three teaching methods over two weeks. Before the experiment, Korean teenagers had preferred different teaching methods depending on their origins. However, after learning from the three teaching methods (cramming, mixed, and discussion teaching methods) for two weeks, the participants preferred the discussion method. Thus, the survey found that while Chinese Confucian ideas have a great influence on Korean youth, there is a possibility for change in preferred teaching methods.

This article suggests one of the possible ways of integrating teaching methods from the integration methods developed by the authors, namely: the integration based on the dominant teaching method. The article aims to substantiate the author’s methods of integrative teaching based on the dominant method and present the results of the approbation of these methods in higher schools. The project was implemented within the course “Medical Biophysics”. An integration algorithm as a dominant teaching method is proposed. The project contained several specific techniques. In the first specific method, the situational method is chosen as the dominant one. For the second one, the method of trials and coincidences is dominant. For diagnostics as a complex topic in medicine, physics, chemistry and other sciences, the problem method as dominant is dominant. In all methods, several other methods are gradually integrated into the dominant method, depending on the content and nature of the educational material. The practical significance of the project is to create algorithms for integrating teaching methods and the possibility of their transformation into other educational topics. The approbation shows an increase in the indicators of saving time and flexibility of knowledge.

Introduction and aim. The effective and safe administration of medication is the responsibility of every health care provider involved in patient care. One of the biggest problems with nursing education is the gap between theory and practice, which pave ways for medication errors to occur at any level of the medication administration process. This can be rectified by using an efficient teaching strategy that harmoniously blends nursing theory and practical skills. The aim of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of the traditional teaching method versus simulation-based teaching method on level of knowledge, attitude, and practice on prevention of medication errors among nursing students in selected colleges, Puducherry. Material and methods. The research approach and design used for the study were quantitative approach and quasi-experimental pre and post-test control group design respectively. The study settings were selected 4 nursing colleges in Puducherry. The sample size was 100 (50 in experimental group I and 50 in experimental group II) which was selected by using simple random and stratified sampling technique. pre-test was done to assess the level of knowledge, attitude and practice on prevention of medication error for both experimental groups utilizing the self-administered knowledge, attitude questionnaire and checklist. The experimental group I received traditional teaching method and experimental group II received simulation-based teaching method. Post-test was done after one week using the same tool. Results. The study results revealed that out of 100 nursing students, majority 35 (70%) and 38 (76%) of the nursing students were in the age group of 20–21 years, 40 (80%) and 39 (78%) of them were female, 50 (100%) and 41 (82%) of them were staying as day scholars, 40 (80%) and 41 (82%) had one attempt to clear the pharmacology subject in the experimental group I and II respectively. The level of knowledge, attitude, practice showed a statistically significance difference at p<0.05 between the pre and post-test within the experimental group I and II respectively. The effective mean scores of knowledge, attitude and practice showed a statistically significance difference at p<0.05 between the experimental group I and II respectively, revealed that the simulation-based teaching method was more effective over the traditional teaching method. There was a significant positive correlation at p<0.05 exist between the level of knowledge and attitude, knowledge and practice in the experimental group I. The association between the post-test level of attitude and the gender variable showed a statistically significant at p<0.05 in the experimental group II. Conclusion. The study concluded that the simulation-based teaching method was effective which can be utilized as a means to educate the nursing students during their academic performance.

This study aims to prepare the most effective Korean history education plan for children from mixed marriages in Korea using a questionnaire survey and in-depth interviews. Before the survey, the children from mixed marriages between Korea and Vietnam, China, and Japan preferred the auto-visual teaching method (ATM). However, after learning Cramming Teaching Method (CTM), Audio-Visual Teaching Method (ATM), Comparative-History Teaching Method (CHTM), and Discussion Teaching Method (DTM) for one week, Chinese and Korean – Japanese children preferred CHTM, whereas Korean-Vietnamese children preferred ATM itself. Hence, CHTM was found to be the most effective method when educating Korean history to the children from mixed marriages between Korea and countries with many historical conflicts, similar to that of their mothers (first-generation immigrants).

This research aims to study the application of using films in teaching the Arabic language to Korean students. Recently, level based classes and developing communication skills are becoming important goals in foriegn language education. The most effective way to develop the student’s communication skills is to expose them to real life situations and related resources. Films are replicas of real life situations and thus are effective especially in teaching spoken language. This research implies the following things to Arabic education. First, it is best to provide realistic data to students to improve their communication skills. Selecting films that contain conversations and expressions that are used every day, while avoiding violence or contents of too much slang, will allow students to continuously remain interested and focused. Second, a program that connects films to CD-ROM for textbooks needs to be created. Additionally, there is a need to increase the understanding of spoken language through various study programs for Korean teachers. Finally, using interesting films to motivate students will have positive effects and will allow them to approach Arabic through understanding of the language rather than pure memorization.

Modern Ukrainian school faces a serious task: to form in graduates information and communication skills that will allow them to quickly perceive and process big information flows presented in various sign systems, to teach the use of modern means, methods and technologies of working with information sources. The European Parliament and the Council of the European Union in 2006 selected eight core competencies for the lifelong learning. One of these competencies is called digital. The basic knowledge, skills and competencies associated with digital competence are defined as: confident, critical and responsible use and interaction with digital technologies for learning, work and participation in the community. This includes information literacy and data literacy, communication and collaboration, creation of digital content (including programming and mapping), security (including knowledge of digital well-being and cybersecurity) and the solution of various problems, including economic, social and personal. Purpose. The purpose of the study is the process of forming the subject competence of the student, consisting of the substantive component of geographical science–cartography. Material and methods. In the process of research, we have used a combination of general scientific, general and special methods, including various levels (descriptive method, comparative method, statistical analysis, etc.). Since the rapid growth of information systems requires orientation of modern education to use active learning technologies, we have also used cartographic methods that included digital, diverse sign systems and GPS technologies in our pedagogical research. Conclusions. It is impossible to convey knowledge about yet unknown phenomena of nature or to teach students to construct and use the non-existent technique, there is one way - to form a search style of thinking, to instill interest and taste in knowledge and research, to develop the opportunity to see and appreciate the aesthetic side of evidence, to teach the general laws of the future activities, to equip methods of mastering and synthesizing new knowledge in any subject area, to create a broad communication outlook of a contemporary student. Work with cartographic materials at geography lessons has been highlighted in methodological recommendations by a number of scientists. Our task is to update this information.

Sustainable development in education is the basis of sustainable development of society. To ensure sustainable development in education, its principles need to be implemented in all training courses. Higher pedagogical education should provide training in designing and teaching such courses. At our universities, future primary school teachers are trained to keep their maths lessons in line with the principles of sustainable development in three key areas. The first area relates to the development of pupils’ social involvement through their acquisition of intellectual and practical skills of using maths. The second area concerns pupils’ relationship with their natural and cultural environment. Future teachers are trained to design tasks that stimulate pupils’ emotional engagement and caring attitude. The third area that future teachers are trained to target is pupils’ economic and financial competence. Teaching skills in all these areas can be developed effectively through the case method.
