The paper is an attempt to determine the assumptions for the development of working conditions including the needs of people with disabilities and the elderly. The basis for the development of assumptions were the experiences in the field of analysis of working conditions, mainly in health units and shaping of public space through innovative non-discriminatory solutions. Three main areas have been presented in the article, in which the transfer of knowledge may be acquired during the study: the area of ergonomics (ERG), the area of accessibility of work space with the relation of freedom in mobility and safety (SPA), and the area of information availability (INF). The considerations included in the article apply in the concept of Design for All (DFA), which is the one of the pillars of European Union directives, entitled European act on the availability, being a respond to the demographic challenge by increasing participation in the labour market and society for all.

The rapid development of the IT industry is a fact. Digitalization co- vers practically all areas of enterprises and the full spectrum of their processes. IT systems are usually treated as a tool to achieve a specific goal, relatively rarely is there any talk of implementing IT systems as an element of strategic management. However, it should be borne in mind that, given the key impact on organisations, the implementation of an IT system should be treated as an important element of strategic planning. The literature on this subject is relatively modest, and the author target of this science work and publication has aimed to analyse to what extent the implementation of an IT system (and why) should be treated as part of strategic ma- nagement. The research problem presented in the paper was solved, among others, by a critical analysis of the literature concerning the area in question, in selected elements supported by an analysis of available statistical data.

The article examines the peculiarities of the formation and development of tourist destinations in the western Ukrainian border regions. GMDH analysis of statistical indicators of tourism in Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zakarpattya, Volyn and Chernivtsi regions revealed the importance of information campaigns promoting local destinations. The strategy for tourist destination formation, information support and promotion in the western Ukrainian border regions is developed and the components of its realisation are described.

The dynamism of changes occurring in the social-economic space determines need for the systematic development, understood as seeking innovative solutions. Given that 46% of the world population uses the Internet and the 31% declares that they are active users of social media, no rationally formulated corporate strategy can omit the potential of computer technologies. One of the advanced solutions which are successively adapted in the sector of banking services is virtual reality. It seems that every industry from video games developers to healthcare is looking for innovative ways to integrate some sort of virtual reality platform into their day-to-day systems. The aim of the article is the presentation of the concept of virtual reality in the context of banking. The article proves the implementation of VR in banking generates competitive advantage. Additionally, it presents various aspects of applications, market trends and forecasts of the subsequent development of this phenomenon. Moreover, there is an attempt to answer a question, whether virtual reality improves the effectiveness of the banking activity

The identity is one of the key issues of modern society and when we take into account the influence of media and information technologies on the livelihoods of individuals then it becomes clear how fast identities have been changing and how qualitative transformations they suffered. In the post modern times computers present an unavoidable decor of present but simultaneously they entice with their utilities all users of this scientific and technical paradigm. Social identity is not what it used to be and its relatively loose structure comprises a sequence of even non consistent characteristics of the structure of identity that have not even been imaginable, until recently, in a such configuration they exist today. New technologies and the way people spend their time at work or their free time determine the development and establishing of the identity structure whilst new specific identities have appeared due to free access to information with the whole latitude of using new media. This phenomenon often reflects on what we refer to as generation gap and additionally on everything that democratic and neo-liberal environment supports in terms of certain behavioral patterns acceptance. Computers, mobile phones of new generation and the Internet, as the totality of informational domain, have offered the post-structural multiversity pandemic of a new world that changed in as much it conceived the pluralism of identities and brand new assemblies of values and attitudes. The onset of a new world was possible due to the concept of a new human that appeared, who has a general common denominator in information technologies.

The article is devoted to modern tendency and problems in the development of information technologies in the sphere of tourism. The aim of this paper is system analysis and identification of prospective areas of information technology in the field of tourism. The basic trends shaping the prospects for improvement in the information technology tools oriented to full and quality to meet the needs of ordinary tourists are consolidation of information resources in tourism; intellectualization of functions for software and applications, information technology and systems; interface virtualization environment for information systems, oriented to the needs of tourists; mobilization of tourists information technology support in the exercise of his trip; personalization tourist information needs, taking into account its specific individual requests tastes and preferences. All of them are analysed and described in the article. As a result author distinguished the main problems in the sphere of information technologies for tourist domain and main perspective spheres of next researches.

This article presents the results of a research conducted within the European IRNet Project. In the research, the place and role of the distance learning technologies in the knowledge transfer system of a modern university were described. The main goal of the article is to describe the results of the data domain analysis concerning the possibility of development and introduction of the academic massive open online courses (MOOC) platform. The authors identified the architecture and main functional requirements to the academic MOOC platform as an effective tool to optimise the processes of knowledge transfer in the system of teacherstudent.

Cities are places of countless logistics processes, i.e. the processes of flow of all kinds of resources: human, material, information. The basic problem of contemporary cities are factors limiting their sustainable development. Most of them originate from excessive congestion caused by individual motorization and road freight transport. In recent years, supply chains intensively develop and implement new information technologies. That aims at rationalizing the business logistics processes by improving the information flows which is followed by reducing the demand for physical resources and the reduction of processing time and costs. Because the cities are large areas of logistics processes related to the economic activities of enterprises, the purpose of this article is to answer the following question: how do new information technologies, used in logistics processes, influence the structure of resources mobility in urban areas and how they can help in solving problems of congestion in urban areas. The main assumption of the study is that information flows can partially substitute real flows, which leads to the main thesis of the research that new technologies which streamline the flows of information in B2B and B2C relation can reduce the demand for goods and human flows within the cities. That rationalization translates into changes of resources demand structure and thus a change in demand for their mobility. The study used analysis and deduction method based on the literature and real life examples in the field of information technology which are already in use and those that can be used soon in logistics processes. This field of research is underdeveloped because logisticians focus their research on economization of business logistics processes and do not pay much attention to how they can influence urban areas.

The present paper discusses application of telerehabilitation services in speech therapy management in aphasic adults. The author presents theoretical issues related to the specifics of therapeutic effects of at a distance approach and indicates its recipients, focusing on neurological patients with language difficulties. Further on, the author reviews the selected studies on telerehabilitation used in diagnoses and therapies of aphasic speech disorders.

The article is devoted to the issues of UTAUT (the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology) models, which are currently the most commonly used tools of IT acceptance assessment. The aim of the article was to characterize the structure and stages of evolution of the above-mentioned models, to analyze the practical use of these models and to perform a bibliometric analysis of publications on UTAUT. The method of literature analysis and the SciVal Scopus and Google Trends tools were used to analyze UTAUT content search trend statistics. The described models are useful for testing technology acceptance by users with different characteristics in different organizations. The flexibility of the models in terms of extending and modifying them for the needs of various areas of IT technology implementation was demonstrated.
Artykuł jest poświęcony problematyce modeli UTAUT (Uogólnionej Teorii Akceptacji i Użytkowania Technologii) które są obecnie najczęściej wykorzystywanymi modelami akceptacji technologii informacyjnych. Celem artykułu było scharakteryzowanie struktury oraz etapów ewolucji wyżej wymienionych modeli, przeprowadzenie analizy praktycznego wykorzystania tych modeli oraz dokonanie analizy bibliometrycznej publikacji dotyczących UTAUT. Zastosowano metodę analizy literatury oraz narzędzia SciVal Scopus i Google Trends do analizy statystyki trendów wyszukiwania treści dotyczących UTAUT. Udowodniono, że opisane modele są przydatne do badania akceptacji technologii przez użytkowników o różnych cechach w różnych organizacjach. Wykazano elastyczność modeli w zakresie ich rozszerzania i modyfikowania na potrzeby różnych obszarów wdrażania technologii IT.

QIT–Quantum Information Technologies promises are very serious, greatly exceeding only technical and market levels. Development of QIT in Europe, treated as building a new infrastructural civilization level, requires a broader view of coordination, funding and priority-setting policy. Simple measures used in the case of the development of new technologies, but not creating a significant ecosystem, are insufficient in this case. Quantum technologies are poised to create a new information layer of knowledge-based society. In this essay, the author subjectively addresses some of the issues such as: what we already know and what we don't know, and what efforts are being made in Europe. The article presents the role a multimedia message plays in social, computer mediated communication. This kind of communication is a dominating one in information civilization, which creates societies of knowledge, information and communication. Information technologies and their product - multimedia (understood as programming tools and multimedia message) raised possibilities of building a new, multimedia form of information transfer which enables to pass on information in a way that is most friendly and useful for a recipient but at the same time it creates a danger of information distortions if the rules of its construction are unknown. Multimedia message is characterized by frequent exchange of a sender (a message creator) role with a recipient (a code reader) role. This is caused by changeability of context and possibility of changing information structure in the process of interaction. Due to this transformation, it is difficult to place a multimedia message within a classic model of information transfer. The study presents the place a multimedia message occupies in the process of social, computer mediated communication. It emphasizes the necessity for shaping new, communicative competences that would allow to communicate effectively both within the network and via it. These new, communicative competences are understanding sent messages and creating own ones in a way that enables their proper interpretation.
