This paper contains research on and methods of determining values for basic parameters of steganographic systems. In particular, a parameter of concealing the presence of information in a digital environment is researched. Using this particular parameter increases the degree of protection of a message introduced into a digital environment. This parameter is one of the fundamental ones in case of implementation of a steganalysis system. Besides that, this paper contains a review of parameters of redundancy of a digital environment and the parameter of steganogram resistance to technological transformations in digital environments.

The modern student is surrounded by technology, which results in their both social behaviours and their learning habits. Research indicates that although the attention span of modern reaches much lower levels than with previous generations, their ‘bursts’ of attention are more frequent and also their connecting and encoding abilities are more efficient. These changes in their cognitive functions should be answered by the adaptation if the teaching process in order to minimise the negative consequences of shorter attention span and maximise their potential.
Współczesny uczeń otoczony jest z każdej strony technologią, co ma swoje konsekwencje zarówno w jego zachowaniach społecznych, jak również w kształtowaniu się nawyków dotyczących uczenia się. Badanie dowodzą, że choć umiejętność skupiania się współczesnych nastolatków osiąga znacznie niższy poziom niż wcześniej, ich uwaga ‘odnawia’ się z większą częstotliwością, a jednocześnie cechuje ich umiejętność sprawniejszego przełączania się pomiędzy zadaniami. Takie zmiany w funkcjonowaniu poznawczym wymagają odpowiedniego dostosowania procesu dydaktycznego tak, aby zminimalizować deficyt wynikający z krótkiego czasu skupienia się i wykorzystać ich potencjał.

Opis:
Aim. The purpose of the research is to depict how talented students create their personal learning environment. The author of that paper shows a difference that has occurred thanks to the comparison between the manner in which average students and talented students build their personal learning environment. Methods. The author has conducted quantitative research, by making a survey. The surveys were carried out among fifty talented students. This paper focuses on the presentation of their opinions. The respondents presented how they constructed their personal learning environment. Additionally, they expressed their viewpoints about their digital competences. Results. The analysis shows that talented students are familiar with the latest digital tools. It allows them to design their personal learning space effectively. They can collect and process information profitably. They are also keen to share their knowledge with other participants of an educational process via the Internet, using some complex and practical devices. Moreover, talented students prefer discussing educational problems with other students online. They use some appropriate tools, such as chat rooms and social networking services. According to the research, the author can conclude that talented students are able to build and improve their digital learning space very well. They seem to create their personal learning environment functionally and consciously. Conclusions. Talented learners use advanced searching strategies, methods of collecting and storing information, and also teamwork tools. It is particular that they are autonomous learners but they also like sharing knowledge with other learners. The level of information competences of the talented students is quite high.

The purpose of this study is to investigate EFL university students' learning strategies used in a digital English learning environment, and to analyze the interrelations between their use of learning strategies and individual learner factors, such as gender, English proficiency levels, learning experiences, and the duration of using the digital learning environment. The participants of the study were 400 students selected from two universities located in South Korea. A questionnaire was developed to examine the use of digital English learning strategies (DELS) based on Oxford's (1990) SILL and was distributed in an online survey form. Data collected in the present study was statistically analyzed to show that, first, the most frequently used strategy category was compensation strategies, and this was followed by memory and metacognitive strategies. Second, learner factors included in this study showed statistically significant relationships with the use of DELS, but the duration of using digital devices was not related to DELS usage. From these findings, the study concludes that understanding the learning process and strategy use patterns is very critical to make students strategic learners in a digital English learning context and eventually to develop students’ digital English abilities. The suggestions and implications for further study are also discussed.

Emergency Remote Teaching and Learning (ERTL) has encouraged teachers and students to be autonomous and creative individuals. To create a supporting learning environment, the role of technology is important for classroom activities. Thus, this practical article aims to present an integration of digital applications in designing lesson plans across grade levels in the context of Indonesian EFL learning. The learning targets are focused on teacher education program, upper secondary school, and lower secondary school. Related to the technology, Canva, Zoom Annotation, iSpring Suite 9, and TikTok have been selected to accommodate learning process considering its motivating and communicative performance. Despite the limitations, exploring features of technology for educational purpose contributes to strengthening teacher professional development, particularly lesson planning.

Also a review of the system composition of steganography, which is oriented to the use of text digital environments. Проаналізовано сутність стратегічного управління та його значення для компанії. Роз’яснено зв'язок між стратегічним управлінням компанії та цифровим бізнес-середовищем. Визначено основні тенденції ведення бізнесу у цифровому середовищі. Теоретичне значення дослідження – розвинуто думку щодо стратегічного управління компанією в цифровому бізнес-середовищі. Практичне значення дослідження. Результати дослідження можуть застосувати як міжнародні, так і вітчизняні компанії під час стратегічного управлінні в цифровому бізнес-середовищі, яке виникло внаслідок Четвертої промислової революції. Оригінальність/Цінність/Наукова новизна дослідження. Виділено основні тенденції сучасного бізнесу у цифровому середовищі. Визначено вибір стратегій міжнародних компаній та їх напрямки застосування у цифровому бізнес-середовищі. Обмеження дослідження/Перспективи подальших досліджень. Вивчати стратегічне управління міжнародних компаній та аналізувати вплив цифрового бізнес-середовища на їх розвиток. Тип статті–теоретична.
Цель работы – проанализировать стратегическое управление компанией в цифровом бизнес-среде. Дизайн/Метод/Подход исследования. Применены общенаучные методы: систематизации, сравнения, обобщения, анализа и синтеза. Результаты исследования. Проанализированы сущность стратегического управления и его значение для компании. Разъяснена связь между стратегическим управлением компании и цифровым бизнес-средой. Определены основные тенденции ведения бизнеса в цифровой среде. Теоретическое значение исследования. Развито мнение о стратегическом управлении компанией в цифровой бизнес-среде. Практическое значение исследования. Результаты исследования могут применить как международные, так и отечественные компании при стратегическом управлении в цифровой бизнес-среде, возникшее вследствие Четвертой промышленной революции. Оригинальность/Ценность/Научная новизна исследования. Выделены основные тенденции современного бизнеса в цифровой среде. Определены выбор стратегий международных компаний и их направления применения в цифровой бизнес-среде. Ограничение исследования/Перспективы дальнейших исследований. Purpose – to analyze strategic company management in the digital business environment. Design/Method/Approach. General scientific methods are applied: systematization, comparison, generalization, analysis, and synthesis. Findings. The essence of strategic management and its significance to a company has been analyzed. The relationship between strategic company management and digital business environment has been elucidated. Basic trends for doing business in the digital environment have been defined. Theoretical implications. Theoretical significance of the research is in the advancement of opinion on the strategic company management in digital business environment. Practical implications. The practical value of the research is in the possibility of applying the results obtained by both international and domestic companies for strategic management in the digital business environment that emerged as a result of the Fourth industrial revolution. Originality/Value. The main trends of modern business in the digital environment have been identified. The choice of strategies of multinational companies has been identified, as well as the areas of their application in digital business environment. Research limitations/Future research. The prospects for further research are to study the strategic management of international companies and analyze the impact of digital business environment on their development. The “digital environment” is perceived as a new situation in the political consciousness of the society, as well as a source of xenophobia in politics. In the context of political uncertainty in the world, journalism is becoming a vehicle for spreading cyberphobia – a new type of social fear. Cyberphobia is understood as a natural reaction of public consciousness to the intensification of new types of crimes against the individual and society with the use of “digital” technologies. The new informational reality has predetermined cyberthreats that appeared in the media leading to the most dangerous social phobia. This, for instance, has been combined with the idea of the “Russian hacker” and his personification as the world Evil.
„Środowisko cyfrowe” postrzegane jest jako nowa sytuacja w świadomości politycznej społeczeństwa, a także źródło ksenofobii w polityce. W kontekście niepewności politycznej na świecie dziennikarstwo staje się narzędziem szerzenia cyberfobii – nowego rodzaju społecznego strachu. Cyberfobia rozumiana jest jako naturalna reakcja świadomości społecznej na nasilenie się nowych rodzajów przestępstw przeciwko jednostce i społeczeństwu z wykorzystaniem technologii „cyfrowych.” Nowa rzeczywistość informacyjna z góry określiła cyberzagrożenia, które pojawiły się w mediach, prowadzące do najgroźniejszej fobii społecznej. To na przykład łączy się z ideą „rosyjskiego hakera” i jego personifikacją jako świata Zła.

Opis:
Purpose: To substantiate the elements of a complex mechanism for adaptive business strategies implementation and to develop an algorithm for its operation in a digital environment. Findings: A hypothesis about the positive impact of global digitalization of business on the formation of an adaptive mechanism for managing the business strategy implementation. It is proved that in the digital environment the indicative tools and flexible methods of making managerial decisions are activated, the efficiency of functioning of the corresponding mechanisms increases. The author offers adaptive mechanism for managing the business strategy implementation in the conditions of digital environment, substantiates its components, determines the tools for environmental diagnostics, selection and implementation of adaptive strategies, and highlights the principles of operation and interconnection of the subsystems of the mechanism. The article reveals functions and tasks of the adaptive mechanism and offers the algorithm of its introduction in the conditions of the digital environment. Practical Implications: The results of the study can be used in the practice of management of modern economic entities in order to ensure management decisions and strategic development in the context of global digitalization of business. Originality/Value: For the first time, the author proposes the adaptive mechanism for managing the business strategy implementation in a digital environment and substantiates its components, functions, methods and tools. Цель исследования: Обоснование элементов адаптивного механизма управления реализацией стратегии предприятия и разработка алгоритма его действия в условиях цифровой бизнес-среды. Результаты исследования: Выдвинута гипотеза о положительном влиянии глобального цифровизации бизнеса на формирование адаптивного механизма управления реализацией стратегии предприятия. Доказано, что в условиях цифровой среды активизируются индикативный инструментарий и гибкие методы принятия управленческих решений, повышается эффективность функционирования соответствующих механизмов. Разработан адаптивный механизм управления реализацией стратегии предприятия в условиях цифровой среды, обоснованно его составляющие, определены инструментарий диагностики среды, отбора и реализации адаптивных стратегий, определены принципы функционирования и взаимосвязи подсистем механизма. Приведены функции и задачи адаптивного механизма управления. Предложен алгоритм внедрения адаптивного механизма управления реализацией стратегии предприятия в условиях цифровой среды. Практическое значение исследования: Результаты исследования могут быть использованы в практике менеджмента современных экономических субъектов с целью обеспечения принятия обоснованных управленческих решений и стратегического развития предприятия в условиях глобальной цифровизации бизнеса. Мета дослідження: Обґрунтування елементів адаптивного механізму управління реалізацією стратегії підприємства та розробка алгоритму його дії в умовах цифрового бізнес-середовища. Результати дослідження: Висунуто гіпотезу щодо позитивного впливу глобальної цифровізації бізнесу на формування адаптивного механізму управління реалізацією стратегії підприємства. Доведено, що в умовах цифрового середовища активізуються індикативний інструментарій та гнучкі методи прийняття управлінських рішень, підвищується ефективність функціонування відповідних механізмів. Розроблено адаптивний механізм управління реалізацією стратегії підприємства в умовах цифрового середовища, обґрунтовано його складові, визначено інструментарій діагностики середовища, відбору та реалізації адаптивних стратегій, визначено принципи функціонування та взаємозв’язки підсистем механізму. Opis:
The article is devoted to the topical problem of preparing future primary school teachers to work in the digital educational environment. The authors see its solution in the introduction into the educational process of higher education institutions active forms, teaching methods that form and develop the professional competence of the future primary school teacher. The main directions, forms and means of teaching are outlined, the use of which will allow to optimally form professional competence in future teachers. The essence of the concept of «digital technologies», varieties of its interpretation are revealed. Methods of preparation of future primary school teachers for the application of information and communication technologies in the process of studying information and technical disciplines in a higher education institution are considered. Professional training of future primary school teachers helps to form students’ motivation based on interest in information technology. The market of digital educational services in Ukraine is described, the subjects of advanced training that offer services for teachers, in particular for future primary school teachers. The most important methods and the main problems of practical training of future teachers in the conditions of the Concept «New Ukrainian school» are allocated.
Artykuł poświęcony jest aktualnym problemom przygotowania przyszłych nauczycieli szkół podstawowych do pracy w cyfrowym środowisku edukacyjnym. Jej rozwiązanie autorzy upatrują we wprowadzaniu w proces dydaktyczny szkół wyższych form aktywnych, metod nauczania kształtujących i rozwijających kompetencje zawodowe przyszłego nauczyciela szkoły podstawowej. Zarysowano główne kierunki, formy i sposoby nauczania, których wykorzystanie pozwoli na optymalne ukształtowanie kompetencji zawodowych przyszłych nauczycieli. Ujawnia się istota pojęcia „technologie cyfrowe”, różnorodność jego interpretacji. Rozważane są metody przygotowania przyszłych nauczycieli szkół podstawowych do stosowania technologii informacyjno-komunikacyjnych w procesie studiowania kierunków informacyjno-technicznych. Szkolenie zawodowe przyszłych nauczycieli szkół podstawowych pomaga kształtować motywację uczniów opartą na zainteresowaniach informatyką. Omówiono rynek cyfrowych usług edukacyjnych na Ukrainie, czyli tematy szkoleń zaawansowanych, które oferują usługi dla nauczycieli, w szczególności przyszłych nauczycieli szkół podstawowych. Przedstawiono najważniejsze metody i główne problemy praktycznego przygotowania przyszłych nauczycieli w warunkach Koncepcji „Nowa szkoła ukraińska”.

Opis:
The article is devoted to the problem of specification of approaches to the design and implementation of electronic educational courses in conditions of continuously and dynamically changing digital information and learning environment of the modern university. Based on the results of the content analysis of the digital infrastructure and regulatory documentation of the Siberian Federal University and the discursive analysis of the leading trends in the field of digital education, necessary conditions for a successful professional pedagogical activity are described. On the basis of smart education principles, possible solutions to the problems of teaching at university, such as personification of teaching, project-oriented courses and initiating the launch of mechanisms for students’ informal self-education are synthesized and justified.

The lively debate about the socialization and in specific way about the exclusion practices in schools all over Europe Union imposes the necessity of framing new forms of peaceful interactions between nonhomogeneous social groups. Starting form this core issues, this awareness has been rooted into an actionresearch project named SMILEY, (Social Mindedness In LEarning CommunitY, funded under the Lifelong Learning Programme-Comenius, and carried out from January 2011 to December 2012). SMILEY wants to present an “exit strategy” based upon the centrality of the social dimension of development, expressed by values, social cohesion, solidarity and respect for gender equality: examples of what “social mindedness” means for the European society. This target was achieved through an integrated system of “online” and “offline” activities catalysed by an elearning platform hosting an ERPG (Educational RolePlaying Game) named “YourTown” connecting students and teachers from the partner countries: Italy, Turkey, Poland, Romania and the United Kingdom. Opis:
The paper goal is to develop a spatial analyses of the most critical environmental issues in the country and how the population concerns could be addressed with the use of spatial technologies. Population perception of environment management relies on its minimum levels. In the recent past, static, fixed scale, multi use, highly accurate, permanent, paper maps compiled over a short period of time was the norm, meanwhile today’s world uses a dynamic, single use, variable accuracy, variable scale, digital product made from data possibly retrieved from database derived from multiple sources. The opportunity to combine spatial technology associated with numerical data leading to a structured and genuine analyzes of the country issues turns to be an optimal strategy. We structure a set of digital maps encouraging decision-makers to rely their performance on spatial tools. Coastline pollution stands as a top priority. For the purpose of the analysis, the entire coastline was divided into sectors. Hence, further investigations could be addressed toward space-time relationship to cover the environmental evolution process, which may serve as an input for future predictions.

Opis:
Landscape alteration is generally one of the most significant impacts resulting from surface mining and quarrying, particularly when the excavation activities are located within environmentally sensitive areas. We describe the results of two different methods of visual impact assessment applied to selected case studies in the Polish Carpathians. The study concerns areas of significant landscape value and holiday destinations for many people living in the Silesian and Kraków urban-industrial agglomerations. One of the two methods refers to the EC decision 272/02, which establishes ecological criteria for the award of the Community eco-label for hard floor-coverings. The second method was proposed in previous research and is based on the application of a visual impact indicator (Lvi) in which two objective aspects of landscape alteration are included: the extent of the visible excavation and its chromatic contrast with its surroundings. The results of the two methods are compared and discussed for each of the case studies considered.

Opis:
The aim of this paper is to discuss a very initial stage of architectural design. To achieve that, the way architects work at the early phase of design task is taken into consideration. For the purpose of analysing the process, two groups of designers are distinguished, viz.: novice and familiar with digital media. A few experiments are described in order to reveal a process of creative thinking and, what is more, to point out a hybrid analogue-digital environment as a preferred setting to study and deal with a design problem. However, it is difficult to assign the act of creation itself to certain rules and methodologies since it seems to exist somewhere beyond – elusive and unpredictable.
