Opis:
The article is an attempt at describing the relation between resilience and needs. It is based on the assumption that these are two sets of variables vital for harmonious development that resonate with each other in a peculiar manner. Resilience and human needs are both contextually and hereditarily conditioned, but the relation between them seems not necessarily a linear one. In adults, resilience might be a significant medium in the satisfaction of needs and even condition them. In children, however, the relation between these variables is different. A child is born with certain potential determining its level of resilience, but deprivation of their key needs, especially during first years, might simply impair their development or disturb its synchronisation. The main issue discussed in this article is the basis of the relation between resilience and the needs that must be satisfied at school. The article contains observations made while carrying out an experimental project that enables the youngest pupils to access and fulfil their multidimensional needs.

Opis:
The article includes research results that were taken into consideration in order to diagnose beliefs concerning values disclosed by academic teachers and the youth studying in education majors. Nowadays, value issues are oft en taken up, because in the postmodern culture the concern about axiological orientations of people is becoming quite common. The imperative of implementing the value system is strongly attributed to the professional role of the teacher and that is why this phenomenon is worth exploring. Therefore, a part of analysis is included concerning inclinations of the researched people, what they think about selected values and what is the most precious value for them.

Opis:
The objective of this article is to present the authors’ reflections on the role of corporality in drama and to indicate the specific nature of kinaesthetic and corporal creativity observed in children, dominated by diverse forms of expansion. The study consists of a theoretical and an empirical part. In the former one, the authors will present some fundamental scientific assumptions to justify their belief in relations occurring in the area of drama – corporality – need for expansion, which ensured also the space for empirical exploration taken up within the framework of experimental studies. Yet, before any observations made upon practical studies are discussed, we shall outline the scientific interpretation of assumptions verified throughout our study.

Opis:
This study has been devoted to creative attitudes represented by 6-7-year old children, evaluated by the creative and re-constructive attitudes rating scale (SPTO)1. The central focus was to relate differences in attitudes among children commencing their education at the age of 6 to those who had started their school attendance before the reform (at the age of 7). An attempt was made to answer the question whether pupils differing in the year of birth, joined within one school form, would generate any disruption of their potential creativity. A complementary issue was to evaluate the level of creative attitudes along the dimorphic pattern.
