The efficiency of the education is variable, which is very difficult to measure, influenced by a variety of input components-students, teachers, school curricula, the school’s internal and external factors. Generally, it is necessary to assess the degree of efficiency of the functioning of the training to carry out a comparison of the rate variables describing the inputs with the same intensity of quantities characterizing the outputs. This article deals with the intermediate results of the research evaluating the scope of the efficiency of the functioning of the educational process in the field of education and training in the context of electrical engineering by on-line education. The research investigated the extent to which online electrical engineering kits have an impact on learning and whether their use has a corresponding impact on learning outcomes. The object of the research was the students and the subject of the research was their knowledge and understanding.

Opis:
The article describes the life cycle of a training project in a research and development unit, from setting the training target, through analyzing the needs of the group, establishing workshops' programs and logistics, up to the evaluation and implementation support. The role of human capital has been presented in the article, thus the need for training organization has been demonstrated to improve quality of work. The article also describes characteristics of the training market, defining types of projects addressed to representatives of the most often trained groups in the research and development unit, like professionals, managers and research workers. Methods and tools aiding the training system analysis and monitoring have also been introduced in the text with a goal to reflect customer, employer, and trainee satisfaction. A process of raising qualifications of employees was described at the Institute of Aviation. It has been found that internal trainings from the subject matter of "project management" are the best solution for research and development centers.
W artykule opisano cykl życia projektu szkoleniowego w jednostce badawczo-rozwojowej począwszy od wyznaczenia celów szkolenia, przez analizę potrzeb grupy, ustalenie programów warsztatów i ich logistyki, aż po ocenę i wsparcie wdrożenia. Zaprezentowano rolę kapitału ludzkiego i przez to wykazano potrzebę i istotę organizowania szkoleń, które mają na celu m.in. podniesienie, jakości wykonywanej pracy. Opisano charakterystykę rynku szkoleń określając rodzaje projektów adresowanych do przedstawicieli najczęściej szkolonych grup zawodowych w jednostce badawczo-rozwojowej: specjalistów, kierowników i pracowników naukowych. Przedstawiono metody i narzędzia pomocne w analizie i monitorowaniu systemów szkoleń uwzględniając głównie zadowolenie klienta: pracodawcy oraz szkolonego pracownika. Opisano proces podnoszenia kwalifikacji pracowników w Instytucie Lotnictwa. Stwierdzono, że dla jednostek badawczo-rozwojowych dobrym rozwiązaniem jest organizowanie szkoleń wewnętrznych, z tematyki „zarządzania projektami".

Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie pilotażowej fazy projektu skierowanego do przyszłych nauczycieli języka angielskiego, jako obcego, w której dokonują oni ewaluacji swojej wiedzy, podejścia i świadomości międzykulturowej oraz znajomości różnic i podobieństw pomiędzy współpracującymi ze sobą, a odległymi społecznie, kulturowo i językowo instytucjami kształcącymi przyszłych nauczycieli w Izraelu i Polsce. Zebrane dane stanowią podstawę do stworzenia innowacyjnego międzynarodowego projektu, wykraczającego poza ramy dotychczasowych kursów szkoleniowych dla przyszłych nauczycieli języka angielskiego w obu krajach. Projekt docelowy zakłada wykorzystanie uczenia się na odległość w tandemie, polegającym na regularnej wymianie myśli i doświadczeń na temat nauczania języka angielskiego jako obcego w obu krajach w celu uwrażliwienia uczestników szkolenia na tematy wynikające z różnorodności społeczno-kulturowej i językowej uczniów. Projekt pilotażowy stanowi więc początkową, niezwykle istotną fazę, oceniającą stopień, w jakim przyszli nauczycieli są gotowi przekraczać bariery społeczno-kulturowe, językowe i psychologiczne, niezbędne do współpracy w tandemie. Grupa czternastu przyszłych nauczycieli języka angielskiego z Uniwersytetu Opolskiego wzięła udział w projekcie pilotażowym, mierzącym gotowość do przekraczania ww. granic. Narzędziem pomiarowym był kwestionariusz, składający się z pytań zamkniętych i otwartych, dotyczących, między innymi, świadomości różnic w podejściu do nauczania języka angielskiego jako obcego w kraju partnerskim. Analiza pozyskanych danych ilościowych i jakościowych posłużyła do nakreślenia obszaru tematycznego w przyszłym projekcie Kształcenia Nauczycieli Języka Obcego na Odległość w Tandemie (Tandem Learning Teacher Training project – TLTT).
The aim of the paper is to present the results of a pilot project for foreign language (FL) teacher education, in which trainee teachers’ knowledge and awareness of intercultural and cross-educational similarities and differences between two cooperating institutions from socio-culturally and linguistically distant countries – Israel and Poland – are elicited. The data collected serves as a springboard for designing an international project for FL trainee teachers to be implemented as a part of a teacher training course. In the project the trainee teachers coming from geographically, culturally and linguistically detached backgrounds, Israeli and Polish, are to participate in tandem learning understood as paired sessions of knowledge and experience exchange between FL trainee teachers via online communicators. The pilot phase, therefore, is an initial but indispensable stage evaluating the extent to which trainee teachers are ready to confront and share their educational background, cultural and linguistic knowledge with their peers from a geographically and socio-culturally distant country. A group of fourteen trainee teachers of Opole University participated in the pilot project measuring the participants’ readiness to engage in crossing the aforementioned borders with the help of a closed and open-item questionnaire focusing on the degrees of awareness of a number of aspects, for instance, culture and L1-based differences in approaching FL teaching. The application of the instrument generated quantitative and qualitative data, whose analysis supported the design of the final Tandem Learning Teacher Training (TLTT) program.

Purpose: The aim of the article is to present model Teacher Training Schools in Poland and to demonstrate conclusions from the diagnosis of needs of supported schools in order to specify the forms of support for teachers included in the project. Design/methodology/approach: The article presents the assumptions of the Teacher Training School Model as an innovative system of supporting teachers' competences, which can be financed from EU funds. Selected aspects of the Teacher Training School functioning were presented for an exemplary project: “Teacher Training School in the commune of Barcin”, implemented in the period from January 01, 2021 until July 31, 2022. The conclusions from the diagnostic research (CAWI and CATI) of 7 supported schools, 65 teachers and 10 principals and deputy principals, in terms of their expectations for the forms of support planned in the project, were indicated. Findings: The results of the diagnosis of needs of supported schools allow to specify the forms of support for teachers and principals affected by the newly established Teacher Training School in the commune of Barcin. Research limitations/implications: The assessment of the effectiveness of the impact of the Teacher Training School in the commune of Barcin presented in the article will be possible after the completion of the project. Practical implications: The results of diagnostic tests, including the expectations of teachers and managers, allow for detailed planning of workshops and cooperation networks in the project „Teacher Training School in the commune of Barcin”. At the same time, the results may constitute recommendations for the process of training and practical improvement of teachers in the field of developing key competences for students. Social implications: The priority of educational policy in Poland is to ensure an effective system of education and continuous professional development of teachers which will respond to real needs of a school and will allow teachers to improve their professional competences and develop their workshop. Originality/value: The implementation of the model Teacher Training Schools in Poland will have a social dimension directly affecting teachers’ and indirectly pupils' key competences.

Project Common Vocational Training to Master in the Baltic Sea Region (MASTER BSR) was approved in the Erasmus + Key Action 2 Strategic Partnerships Innovation-Transfer Project. It has started 1st of September 2015 and is planned to end in August 2018. The total project budget is 420 460 € and is fully refunded from the Erasmus + Programme funds. The lack of entrepreneurs is particularly high in countries with predominantly school-based vocational training and deficits of further vocational training. SMEs in countries with pre-dominantly school-based vocational training are also in need of professionals with educational and trainer qualifications to accomplish the training within the company, when applying the dual vocational training model. The project is aimed to train company successors, entrepreneurs and managers in the Baltic Sea Region, based on a relatively high-level master qualification system. Another aim is to increase the efficiency and the competitiveness of SMEs by promoting the realization of the dual vocational training. On the basis of the German master craftsman training and the experience of further Baltic Sea Region countries, a concept for unified master training for the entire Baltic Sea Region has been developed.

ObjectivesThe work is aimed to present and promote the Chemical Safety Management Training Hub for Chemicals Users (ChemSM-Hub) project implemented by the Nofer Institute of Occupational Medicine in cooperation with the Lodz University of Technology, Poland, and other partners from Germany (Oekopol GmbH), Greece (Prolipsis) and Romania (Romtens). The project is co-funded by the European Commission under the Erasmus+ program, whose aim is to support downstream users (DUs) and distributors (Ds) of chemicals in complying with the REACH and CLP Regulations by developing an innovative training program in chemical safety management (CSM), available via the online project platform, adapted to the real needs of the target groups.Material and MethodsThe methodology for implementing the ChemSM-Hub project includes: 1) conducting survey research among the target groups, 2) conducting a state-of-the-art review of literature and websites, 3) developing the Dissemination and Promotion Plan, 4) developing the Monitoring and Evaluation Procedure, 5) developing the CSM training curriculum, 6) designing the project e-learning platform and mobile app, 7) developing the “Training pattern for trainers” guidance, and 8) organizing training events.ResultsThe project is being implemented in response to the changing EU legislation on chemicals. As a result of the project, a CSM training program has been established consisting of 3 modules (introductory, basic and advanced) with varying degrees of complexity. In addition, a pocket guide has been developed that contains basic information for DUs and Ds regarding the REACH and CLP Regulations, as well as the “Training pattern for trainers” guidance containing a CSM training session plan for trainers. All these materials will be available via the project platform, and their selected elements also via a mobile app.ConclusionsThe publication is aimed to familiarize the potential users of the ChemSM-Hub training program with its thematic scope, the structure of the training and the expected results. It is also a way to promote online training adapted to the needs of its target groups.

Over the last decade, researchers have investigated to what extent cross-project defect prediction (CPDP) shows advantages over traditional defect prediction settings. These works do not take the training and testing data of defect prediction from the same project; instead, dissimilar projects are employed. Selecting the proper training data plays an important role in terms of the success of CPDP. In this study, a novel clustering method called complexFuzzy is presented for selecting the training data of CPDP. The method reveals the most defective instances that the experimental predictors exploit in order to complete the training. To that end, a fuzzy-based membership is constructed on the data sets. Hence, overfitting (which is a crucial problem in CPDP training) is alleviated. The performance of complexFuzzy is compared to its 5 counterparts on 29 data sets by utilizing 4 classifiers. According to the obtained results, complexFuzzy is superior to other clustering methods in CPDP performance.

This paper deals with PM training efficient and profitable for all stakeholders. The inspiration to write it was the author’s rich experience as a trainer and an IPMA Project Excellence Award Assessor. There are three reasons for writing the paper: to encourage managers to better prepare such training (formulation of needs and expectations by them), to indicate the main points of content and the method of training for inexperienced trainers and to promote the PE Award. The methodology used consisted in observation, interviewing and inquiring. Basic results are: showing managers the weight of needs and expectations formulation, the content and methods of training and PE Award promotion. Conclusions – training more profitable for companies and interesting for participants and trainers. The PE Award is more recognized worldwide.
Praca dotyczy szkoleń z zarządzania projektami, skutecznych i użytecznych dla przedsiębiorstw, instytucji i organizacji. Inspiracją do jej napisania było bogate doświadczenie Autora jako trenera PM oraz asesora konkursu INTERNATIONAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION Project Excellence Award. Są trzy powody uzasadniające napisanie tego artykułu. Zachęcenie menedżerów do lepszego przygotowania szkoleń z zakresu PM (sformułowania potrzeb i oczekiwań), podpowiedzenie niedoświadczonym trenerom głównych treści i metod szkolenia oraz promowanie idei PE Award. Zastosowana metodyka polegała na obserwacji, wywiadzie i ankietyzacji. Zasadniczymi wynikami są: ukazanie menedżerom wagi właściwego formułowania potrzeb i oczekiwań, treści i metody szkoleń oraz promocja dobrych praktyk w postaci PE Award. Wnioski – szkolenia z PM są korzystne dla przedsiębiorstw/organizacji i ciekawsze dla uczestników oraz trenerów. Ponadto, konkurs PE Award jeszcze bardziej rozpoznawalny w świecie.

The article presents attempts to identify the needs and problems of modern e-learning and designed a solution that meets the needs of the recipients of e-learning and e-learning content providers. On the basis of this analysis, it was found that the market lacks the e-learning platform that meets all the needs and requirements in remote education. E-learning systems are very poor functionally, and tools for achieving the objectives, such as content creation, content distribution, management learning, and synchronous online meetings appear as separate applications that do not necessarily work well together. Most often each of them must be used separately that extends the preparation of training materials, and is a burden in the administration and supervision of the training course. On the basis of the analysis of remote training needs of recipients and creators of content proposed solution supporting distance learning. On the basis of the analysis of literature and research of user behavior designed and developed an integrated e-learning platform that meets the expectations of the users. The system has successfully motivating tool to complete training and does not require expensive implementation. The main objective of the proposed system was to eliminate the disadvantages observed in other systems. It was found that the human factor impeding the effective acquisition of knowledge as lack of motivation for self-study and the lack of contact with the teacher. In order to minimize the impact of these factors on the educational goals proposed solutions such as elements of competition and extensive virtual classrooms.

Police forces are currently used in various joint operations, which include, among others, elements of the fight against terrorism, ensuring the security of civilians and training of security forces. New types of operations require corrected preparation systems. This article analyses the previous way of preparing such units as Individual Police Officers, Specialized Police Teams, Formed Police Units, as well as the issue related to the training modification proposal, and one of them is the implementation of the virtual game “Gaming for Peace” as a supplement to the training gap through modern and more effective training.

Opis:
Due to the emergence of new social problems resulting from weakening pro-integration moods regarding culturally, ethnically, or religiously diverse societies, the Acting in Context by Training the Trainers in Social Empowerment (ACTTE) project was prepared and implemented. The Polish National Agency of Academic Exchange (NAWA) financed the project as part of the International Academic Partnerships program. The project goals were: 1) shaping competencies/skills in the field of DPA (Developing the Power to Act) in organized training participants (NGO employees and academic teachers), 2) developing tools for intervention work based on the concept of Empowerment. Within the training, the research was carried out based on the action research methodology and the use of scaling and uncategorized interview. The article presents the excerpt of the research, which was aimed at determining the changes in the competencies related to the use of the DPA approach in the project’s participants, as well as their subjective understanding of the DPA. The presented research results show the legitimacy of the project implementation by partner institutions, which are universities and non-governmental organizations. The competences and skills acquired by the project participants can be used in academic and environmental work.
