Opis:
Entangled states are essential in basics quantum communication protocols and quantum cryptography. Ferromagnetic contacts can work as a spin detector, giving possibility of converting information about electron spin to the electric charge, and therefore, detection of entangled states with the electric current measurements is possible. Method of confirming entanglement with non-ideal detectors is presented, the impact of decoherence and noise on states and quality of entanglement is discussed. Entanglement witness (EW) operator method is compared with the CHSH inequalities approach. Required spin polarization for the EW is lower than for the CHSH inequalities. System with asymmetric spin polarizations of detectors was analyzed, including the CHSH inequalities and the EW method.

The dynamic model of a linear energy harvester excited by a non-ideal power source is coupled to a controller to maximum vibration adjustment. Numerical analysis is taken to evaluate the energy harvested keeping the vibration optimized for the maximum interaction to the energy source using linear matrix inequalities for control driven. The dimensionless power output, actuation power and net output power is determined. As a result, it is possible to verify that the total energy harvested via exogenous vibration using the proposed controller is increased up to 65 times when in comparison to the open loop system.

In this paper, it has been shown that the spectrum aliasing and folding effects occur only in the case of non-ideal signal sampling. When the duration of the signal sampling is equal to zero, these effects do not occur at all. In other words, the absolutely necessary condition for their occurrence is just a nonzero value of this time. Periodicity of the sampling process plays a secondary role.

Opis:
This paper is concerned with the Sommerfeld effect (Jump phenomena) attenuation in an non-ideal mechanical oscillator connected with an unbalanced motor excitation with a limited power supply (non-ideal system) using a magnetorheological damper (MRD). The dynamical response of systems with MRD presents different behavior due to their nonlinear characteristic. MRD nonlinear response is associated with adaptive dissipation related to their hysteretic behavior. The Bouc-Wen mathematical model is used to represent the MRD behavior. Numerical simulations show different aspects about the Sommerfeld effect, illustrating the influence of the different electric current applied in the MRD to control the force developed by this damper.

This work focuses on the development of models for predicting explosive power and air blast from the detonation of organic peroxides (TATP and HMTD) and non-ideal explosives involving ammonium nitrate, urea nitrate, and chlorates. CHEETAH calculations assuming ideal behaviour are in agreement with literature data for peroxides. However, the detonation behaviour of non-ideal explosives is dependent on charge size and confnement. This behaviour is investigated using thermo-chemical calculations with Kinetic CHEETAH, and reactive fow models with AUTODYN. A simplifed ignition and growth (I&G) model was calibrated using experimental charge diameter vs. VoD data. I&G models are used to predict the front curvature, reaction zone structure, and energy release from the non-ideal explosives. Detonation and air blast predictions for peroxides and unconfned and confned (paper, plastic, steel) non-ideal charges are presented.

The heat of explosion is one of the most important thermodynamic parameters of aluminized explosives. Two improvements in numerical calculations to predict the behaviour of the explosion of non-ideal aluminized explosives were completed in this work. The chemical reaction between aluminum and the C-J detonation products of high energy ingredients was determined and the equation of state for the detonation products of high energy ingredients was revised. The constant k in the BKW equation was revised to obtain perfect results for predicting the C-J parameters for high energy ingredients. The predicted results show that the heats and temperatures of aluminized explosives become maximized when the mass fraction of aluminum powder is 30%, which is in good agreement with the results obtained by empirical formulae.

An improved harmonic detection method based on average arithmetic is proposed. According to the research results, the designed solution uses an LPF (low-pass-filter) and a mean value module connected in series instead of the conventional mean value module, and simultaneously, a three-phase voltage phase-locked module instead of commonly used PLL (phase lock loop) module is applied in order to reduce the influence caused by three-phase distorted voltage and rapid variation of load. The experimental results show that the application of this solution leads to increase in the accuracy of harmonics detection for distorted three-phase voltage and rapid variation of load.

Opis:
Some of parameters in electrical systems cannot be considered as constants. In particular, some electrical loads should be described as unsteady because of physical reasons, e.g. arc and arc-resistance furnaces. One of the method to describe parameters of such loads is description by fuzzy numbers. Moreover, this description enables to determine optimal current of the system with unsteady parameters by an application of the optimisation technique called as fuzzy mathematical programming. The optimisation problem has been presented for one-phase system with sinusoidal waveforms. The obtained solution (optimal current) can be determined as crisp one (real numbers) in frequency domain in the numerical way. The determined optimal current has minimal RMS value in this case when the power constraints do not have to be fulfilled strictly because of changes of system parameters. It means simultaneously the minimisation of power losses in the system. This solution generalizes the classical optimisation solution obtained for the systems with constant parameters. In order to illustrate the problem the appropriate example has been presented.

This paper presents an extended form of Feedback Linearisation Control (FBLC), which is tested in a non-ideal buck converter in Continuous-conduction Mode (CCM). The FBLC is often used in power electronics to control a non-linear system, due to its advantageous properties. The application of the error integrator shows better steady-state and transient properties, such as a decrease of inrush current. The linearised system has been controlled by the pole placement and the technique is illustrated through an example and simulated via Matlab. The results have been compared by using a classical PID controller, allowing the benefits of FBLC to be highlighted.

This work presents the structure of viscous shock front in a non-ideal gas. The analytical expressions for the particle velocity, temperature, pressure and change-in-entropy within the shock transition region are derived taking into consideration the Landau and Lifshitz equation of state for non-ideal gas. The effects on the structure of shock front due to the variations of the coefficient of viscosity, Mach number, adiabatic exponent and parameter of non-ideality of the gas are investigated. The model developed in the paper is valid only for small values of Mach number M i.e., M<2.5.

The main topic of the paper is the large signal averaged model of a switch-mode flyback power converter. The use of the large-signal averaged models of switching converters allows for fast simulation of power systems. The known averaged models of a flyback are based on the state-space averaging or switch-averaging approach. The model presented in the paper is derived with the use of the separation of variables approach and include parasitic resistances of all converter components. The limitations of the model accuracy are discussed. The calculations based on the averaged model are compared with detailed full-wave simulations and measurements results.

The objective of the present work is to analyze the dynamics of a vibro-impact system consisting of two blocks of different mass coupled by a spring with two stages. Two different types of excitation sources for the system are used in the analysis: the first is an ideal excitation in form of a harmonic force, and the second is a non-ideal excitation in form of a DC electric motor with limited power supply which has an unbalanced rotor. The control parameter for both situations is the excitation frequency of the system. The analysis includes time histories of displacements and velocities, phase portraits and diagrams of the displacement and frequency, used to show the Sommerfeld effect. For certain values of the parameters of the system, the motion is chaotic. The mathematical model of the system is used to obtain an insight to the global dynamics of the vibro-impact system. The model with a non-ideal excitation is more realistic, complete and complex than the model with the ideal excitation.

A general and simple method has been developed for calculating the detonation pressure of different kinds of ideal and non-ideal explosives containing aluminum (Al) and ammonium nitrate (AN). The new model can be applied to CHNO and CHNOFCl explosives in pure form or as mixtures as well as non-ideal mixed explosives including Al and AN. It can also be used for different plastic bonded explosives (PBXs). There is no need for any prior knowledge about the measured or calculated properties of the explosive. The only data needed are the standard enthalpy of formation and the loading density of the desired explosive. The predicted detonation pressures were compared with other predictive methods and outputs of BKWS-EOS, in both full and partial equilibrium. Different statistical parameters as well as cross validation parameters showed that the new model is precise, accurate, well-defined, and robust for predicting the detonation pressures of CHNOFCl(Al/AN) energetic materials.

Opis:
This paper studies the dynamical coupling between energy sources and the response of a two degrees of freedom autoparametrical system, when the excitation comes from an electric motor (with unbalanced mass mo), which works with limited power supply. The investigated system consists of a pendulum of the length l and mass m, and a body of mass M suspended on a flexible element. In this case, the excitation has to be expressed by an equation describing how the energy source supplies the energy to the system. The non- ideal source of power adds one degree of freedom, which makes the system have three degrees of freedom. The system has been searched for known characteristics of the energy source (DC motor). The equations of motion have been solved numerically. The influence of motor speed on the phenomenon of energy transfer has been studied. Near the internal and external resonance region, except for different kinds of periodic vibration, chaotic vibration has been observed. For characterizing an irregular chaotic response, bifurcation diagrams and time histories, power spectral densities, Poincare maps and maximaI exponents of Lyapunov have been developed.
W pracy uwzględniono wzajemne oddziaływania autoparametrycznego układu drgającego o dwóch stopniach swobody i układu wymuszającego, którym jest silnik elektryczny z niewyważoną masą o znanej charakterystyce. Równania ruchu rozwiązywano numerycznie i badano drgania w pobliżu rezonansu wewnętrznego i rezonansu zewnętrznego.
