The Path of Insight is a spiritual path of Tibetan Buddhism tradition. The fundamental part consists of three elements, such like: preliminary practices, the tranquility meditation and the penetrating insight meditation. However, counted three parts one ought to perceive as aspects of one process aiming to realize of the soteriology purpose. The achievement of the non-dual state has its own development process, which consists experience of the non-dual state, stabilise it and then development of it. Outline of development process is contained in the Path o Insight and relies on exceeding of subjective-objective divisibility. It isperceived as an effect of the ignorance of true nature of the individual. The achievement of the non-dual state, that is nature of the mind (tib. sems nyid) constitutes the purpose of the Path of Insight and it is described by concept-symbol called mahamudra.

Opis:
Changing a problem’s representation is a crucial process when solving insight problems. Recently, Laukkonen and Tangen (2017) found that observing ambiguous figures such as a Necker Cube before solving problems can increase insight frequency. In our research, we extended their procedure by including measures of feelings of insight (e.g., confidence and pleasure). This approach allowed us to test the replicability of relationships between perceptual switching and insight frequency in terms of both accuracy of problem solutions and insight phenomenology. The research took the form of two studies using two different samples (NA = 68 and NB = 198) using online platforms. Our results consistently showed no effect of prior Necker cube perception on accuracy. However, we found a significant difference in self-reported insight (1 - non-aha! experience to 5 – a very strong aha! experience) in our Sample B study. The results suggest the possibility that viewing ambiguous figures may not have a triggering effect on insight problem-solving performance but that it may trigger stronger insight experiences when solving insight problems.

The stratigraphic and geographic distribution of Gyrodus is summarized. Gyrodusranges from the Middle Jurassic to the Early Cretaceous making it one of the longest living pycnodonts. Unambiguous Late Cretaceous records of Gyrodus are still missing. Gyrodus displays its widest distribution and greatest taxonomic diversity in the Late Jurassic. The distribution of Gyrodusimplies not only near−coastal mode of life but also a pelagic lifestyle conversely to most other pycnodonts. External body features and function of the unpaired fins support this interpretation.

Humans are known to be able to solve problems creatively, but how exactly this occurs is still a matter of debate. Insight problem solving is one important way to study creativity in adults, but studies that use this method with preschool children are rare. In this paper, we present two studies: one in which the problem is solved with known objects (participants were preschool children aged 4 to 7 years) and one in which new objects were created (participants were children aged 5 to 6 years and adults). For both studies, results are discussed in relation to the various processes that can explain insight problem solving. We argue that the integration of these processes under the overarching variability–stability–flexibility pattern might be a better way to investigate insight and ultimately to understand innovation.

Opis:
The paper discusses notions of intuition and insight. The most typical features attributed to intuition in the history of philosophy – receptiveness, passivity, immediateness, directness, self-evidence, infallibility, and indubitability – are analyzed. A variability of the notion of intuition is shown, taking as its example the category of insight, central for the epistemology of Bernard J.F. Lonergan (1904–1984), the twentieth-century philosopher locating between phenomenology, Thomism and hermeneutics. Insight is still in some respects a kind of intuition although it is creative, active, mediated, indirect, fallible and open to revision.

This paper investigates the educational dimention of theory, that is, the way theory forms or catalyzes human’s relation with the world. This is analysed through the examples of three theoretical standpoints: technology, critique and philosophy of responsibility. The first two have played their major part in contemporary thought, while the third one seems to play a crucial role in currently emerging theories of education. However the exercise presented in this paper does not aim at apprising one of these standpoints over the others. Rather it indicates the educational work of theory beyond its application and function.

Opis:
Several recent studies have clarified the link between microwear features and diet among living carnivorans, but it is still unclear whether previously interpreted evolutionary trends for dietary specialization, based on examination of enamel microstructure, are consistent with such insights from microwear analysis. This study examined the relationship between microwear and microstructure features using a sample of fossil hyaenids and canids. Hunter−Schreger Bands (HSB) and microwear features were examined at the same magnification level using optical stereomicroscopy. Multiple trials conducted on each specimen showed higher variance of smaller (<0.03 mm) microwear features compared to large (>0.03 mm) features. The number of pits was positively correlated with more derived HSB in both p4 and m1; fossil teeth with derived HSB possessed microwear features similar to patterns found in modern spotted hyenas. Microscopic scratches were not as closely associated with HSB patterns, but large scratches were more tightly linked to HSB than smaller ones on p4. An examination of evolutionary trends in HSB specialization in the two carnivoran lineages showed that derived HSB patterns evolved prior to the highly robust craniodental characteristics typical of later bone−cracking ecomorphologies. Therefore, the increase of hard food in the diet of less specialized hyaenids and canids was accompanied by a mosaic mode of evolution, with microstructural changes preceding key macrostructural morphological adaptations.

Opis:
Common enigmatic fossils called stromatoporoids are recognized as calcareous stromatolitic structures build by coccoid cyanobacteria (= Cyanophyta). The diversified internal structures of stromatoporoids reflect various growth patterns of cyanobacterial cell aggregates or colonies preserved due to a rapid in situ calcification. Stromatoporoid stromatolites are evolutionary advanced descendants of early precamprian stromatolites generated by weakly differentiated stratiform mats of coccoid cyanobacteria. The presence of stromatoporoid stromatolites in ancient subtidal environments, often in association with normal marine biota, is a non-actualistic phenomenon which needs to be explained in other than present-day ecological terms.

Opis:
Currently, globalization, urbanization and industrialization have led to several environmental issues. In many industries, particularly in textile industries, the extensive use of synthetic dyes has increased. Dye is an integral element used to impart color to textile materials. Wastes generated during the processing and treatment of the dye contain inorganic and organic compounds that are hazardous, thereby posing a serious threat to the ecosystem. It is therefore important to implement cost-efficient and successful measures against these emissions in order to preserve habitats and natural resources. In this context, biodegradation by fungi or mycoremediation of dyes using potential fungi is a fairly inexpensive and environmental friendly method for decomposing or mineralizing barely or less decaying dye compounds. Fungi play a crucial role in degrading and decolorizing organic dyes by enzymes and processes such as absorption, adsorption and aggregation of effluent colorants. The factors affecting the decolorization and biodegradation of dye compounds through fungal bioremediation, such as pH, temperature, dye concentration, agitation, effects of carbon and nitrogen sources, dye structure, enzymes, electron donor and redox mediators are discussed in this review. The review also includes a summary on the mechanism and kinetics of dye degradation as well as recent advances and future perspectives in mycoremediation of dyes.

Despite the growing interest in traditional cuisine, to the present author’s knowledge no linguistic analysis of Polish culinary recipes has been conducted so far. Even though numerous studies of recipes written in other languages, such as English, have been published, the structure and typology of early Polish recipes have, as yet, been ignored. The aim of the present paper is to investigate the earliest known Polish collection Compendium Ferculorum, and collate these findings with what is known about this text type from other languages. Such an analysis will show whether the earliest Polish instructions, which appeared relatively late, i.e. in the 17th century, follow the pattern which is typical of the period or rather that of an earlier stage in the evolution of the recipe, as was the case with the earliest American recipes (Dylewski 2016).

Methane is a most important greenhouse gas for planetary heating and it’s produced by methanogenic microorganisms as a metabolic byproduct and creates climate change. Methanogens are ancient organisms on earth found in anaerobic environments and methane is a key greenhouse gas concerned with methanogens. Therefore here is intense interest to writing this paper. A number of experiments have already conducted to study the methanogens in various environments such as rumen and intestinal system of animals, fresh water and marine sediments, swamps and marshes, hot springs, sludge digesters, and within anaerobic protozoa which utilize carbon dioxide in the presence of hydrogen and produce methane. The diversity of methanogens, belong to the domain Archaea and get involved in biological production of methane that catalyzes the degradation of organic compound as a part of global carbon cycle called methanogenesis. Majorly in this article we summaries the diversity of methanogens and their impact on global warming.
