    Based on previous research on the deviations of the prices of options on the WIG20 from the arbitrage restrictions and features, it was found that the number and scale of these deviations clearly decreased, thus improving the quality of the arbitrage pricing of options. The purpose of this work in this context is to determine the effectiveness of dynamic hedging using options on the WIG20 in current market conditions and to compare the results with the results of previously conducted research. The study was carried out using the historical scenario method based on data from 2017-2018 shared by the Warsaw Stock Exchange. To compare the effectiveness of dynamic hedging, Value at Risk was applied to the unhedged portfolio and portfolios hedged by a specific hedging method. Based on the research, it can be concluded that among the delta, delta-gamma and delta-gamma-vega hedging analyzed, the most effective solution in the current market conditions is delta hedging. The research results indicate that despite qualitative changes on the market that improve the option price relations the delta-gamma and delta-gamma-vega hedging are in practice worse solutions than delta hedging.
    Na podstawie przeprowadzonych wcześniej badań odchyleń cen opcji na WIG20 od określonych ograniczeń i właściwości arbitrażowych stwierdzono, że liczebność i skala tych odchyleń wyraźnie się zmniejszyły, poprawiając jakość arbitrażowej wyceny opcji. Cele artykułu to określenie skuteczności hedgingu dynamicznego z zastosowaniem opcji na WIG20 w aktualnych warunkach rynkowych i porównanie uzyskanych wyników z wynikami przeprowadzonych wcześniej analiz. Badanie przeprowadzono metodą scenariusza historycznego na podstawie danych z lat 2017-2018 udostępnionych przez GPW w Warszawie. Do porównania skuteczności hedgingu dynamicznego zastosowano oszacowaną wartość zagrożoną (VaR) dla portfeli niezabezpieczonych i zabezpieczonych określonymi metodami hedgingu. Stwierdzono, że wśród przeanalizowanych hedgingów delta, deltagamma i delta-gamma-vega najskuteczniejszym rozwiązaniem w obecnych warunkach rynkowych jest hedging delta. Mimo zmian jakościowych na rynku poprawiających relacje cenowe opcji hedgingi delta-gamma i delta-gamma-vega są w praktyce gorszymi rozwiązaniami niż hedging delta.

    Wśród najistotniejszych cech nowego kina czarnego (neo-noir) szczególną rolę pełni transkulturowy charakter tego fenomenu. We współczesnej popkulturze neo-noir stał się jedną z dominujących tendencji, łatwo adaptując się do lokalnych uwarunkowań kinematografii narodowych. Artykuł jest poświęcony jednej z polskich realizacji wpisujących się w tę estetykę. Filmowa i serialowa twórczość Patryka Vegi nawiązuje do neo-noiru oraz do konwencji amerykańskiego kina policyjnego. Abstrahując od rozważań o charakterze genologicznym, autorka przygląda się specyfice tych powiązań. Czy kino policyjne w neo-noirowym wariancie stanowi w dorobku Vegi zaledwie inspirację czy też podlega ono reinterpretacji, będąc próbą zaadaptowania konwencji hollywoodzkich? A może należałoby spoglądać na twórczość reżysera jak na rodzaj imitacji modnej estetyki? Wątpliwości te autorka próbuje rozstrzygnąć, przyglądając się wybranym realizacjom Vegi, zarówno kinowym (PitBull, Służby specjalne), jak i telewizyjnym (m.in. Instynkt, Ciemna strona miasta).
    The transcultural aspect is an important feature of the new cinema noir (neo-noir). In contemporary pop culture neo-noir has become one of the dominant trends, easily adapting to the local conditions of national cinematography. The article is devoted to one of the Polish films that fall into this category. Films and TV series by Patryk Vega refer to neo-noir and the convention of American police films. Genologic considerations aside, the author looks at the nature of the connections between Polish neo-noir and American film. Is police film of the neo-noir variety merely an inspiration for Vega, or does it undergo reinterpretation and an attempt at adaptation of Hollywood conventions? Or perhaps we should look at the work of the director as a selected works by Vega, including those made for the cinema (Pitbull, Special Forces) and those made for television (among others: Instinct, Dark Side of the City).

    W literaturze starożytnej obecne są dwa, biegunowo odmienne, motywy podania o Cyklopie: epicki, znany z IX ks. Odysei, przywołany później i poddany modyfikacji przez Eurypidesa w dramacie satyrowym Cyklop oraz liryczno-erotyczny spopularyzowany przez Teokryta w XI sielance, Skargi Cyklopa. Wersję Teokryta rozbudował Owidiusz w XIII ks. Metamorfoz. Pomostem między obydwoma wariantami mitycznymi jest tzw. dytyramb Filoksenosa z Kytery. Mit Polifema, głównie w postaci, jaką nadał mu Owidiusz, przewija się przez hiszpański wiek XVI aż do początku kolejnego stulecia, znajdując wielu naśladowców i tłumaczy. Pod koniec XVI wieku sięga do niego również Lope de Vega w powieści pasterskiej La Arcadia (1598), nadając mu formę tradycyjnej hiszpańskiej strofy romance. Mit stanowi odbicie historii będącej przedmiotem narracji, wzbogacając powieść o elementy perspektywy autobiograficznej. W Fábula de Polifemo (1612) Luisa de Góngory mit ulega całkowitej transformacji. W jego interpretacji przeważają barokowe kontrasty i hiperbola. Struktura dzieła oparta jest na zbieżności przeciwieństw: potworności Polifema i piękna Galatei. Mit staje się też okazją do transpozycji koncepcji piękna, wywodzącej się od petrarkizmu: obserwować można dominantę planu metaforycznego, zastępującego elementy rzeczywistości.

    The body of the discussion is devoted to two books, critical editions of Polish translations of the works of Spanish Baroque period, that are related to theatre. The first title in question is the annotated bi-lingual edition of El principe contante by Calderon de la Barca, the drama piece known in Poland as Książe niezłomny [The Constant Prince] and brilliantly translated by Juliusz Słowacki. The other book is the annotated translation of Arte nuevo de hacer comedias en este tiempo [New art of writing plays] by Lope de Vega. Both publications not only evaluate the complex and fascinating picture of Spanish theatrical culture of the Golden Age to the Polish reader, but also substantially widen our understanding of the dependence between the type of the stage and the vision of the world constructed by a playwright and the theatre. They may also provide substantial support, and important inspiration, to theoreticians of theatre and drama, comparatists, historians of ideas, historians of mentality, etc.

    W artykule podjęto refleksję nad wybranymi literackimi, ideowymi, społecznymi i obyczajowymi kontekstami genezy Don Juana Molière’a (1665), by wskazać powiązania między charakterystycznymi dla połowy XVII wieku zjawiskami kulturowymi a sposobem ukształtowania tytułowej postaci i niektórych wątków dramatu. Autorka przypomina stawiane przez różnych badaczy hipotezy na temat literackich i kulturowych korzeni Molierowskiej wersji opowieści o Don Juanie, skupiając się szczególnie na kontekstach związanych z kulturą hiszpańską. Podkreśla również, że autorowi udało się wpisać w fabularną materię legendy uwodziciela wiele komentarzy do rzeczywistości. Pomysły zakorzenione w estetycznych poszukiwaniach oraz w aktualnych dyskusjach i sporach ideowo-światopoglądowych przyczyniły się do stworzenia bohatera, którego doświadczenie koresponduje także w wielu aspektach z doświadczeniem współczesnego czytelnika i widza.
    This article considers selected literary, ideological, and social contexts of the origins of Molière’s Don Juan (1665) in order to demonstrate links between particular cultural phenomena of the mid-seventeenth century and the construction of the play’s protagonist and some thematic motifs. The author reviews various hypotheses concerning the literary and cultural roots of Molière’s version of the story of Don Juan, to focus on the evocation of Spanish cultural contexts. She also emphasizes that the author managed to incorporate into the story of the legendary seducer ample commentary pertaining to factual reality. Ideas rooted in aesthetic explorations and current ideological discussions and disputes contributed to the creation of a protagonist whose experience also corresponds in many aspects to that of the present-day reader and theatergoer.

    The Polish armed forces have used the S-200 Vega surface-to-air missile (SAM) system since the middle of the 1980s. In the early 21st century, it was upgraded to a digital version and adapted to the reality of air combat at the time. After almost twenty years of service since its upgrade, it remains the only long-range SAM in the armament of the Polish Air Force. Today, this SAM system is undergoing a major modification, again, to maintain its long-range anti-air attack potential and the required combat functionalities. The objective of this paper is to identify the technical and tactical functioning conditions of the S-200 family of SAM system on the modern battlefield. In order to achieve this goal, the authors used theoretical methods of research. As a result of the conducted analyzes, this paper presents the operational experience gained so far and a justification for the continued service of the Vega SAM system.

    Het artikel onderzoekt de populariteit van de belangrijkste in de Amsterdamse Schouwburg tussen 1650 en 1670 opgevoerde stukken aan de hand van de recettes die zijn genoteerd in de archiefstukken. Uit dit recente onderzoek naar de Nederlandse theatergeschiedenis rondom de Amsterdamse Schouwburg blijkt dat het toenmalige publiek in groten getale genoot van een repertoire dat veel internationaler en veelvormiger was dan alleen de klassieke Bijbelse tragedies die in de literatuurgeschiedenissen staan vermeld. Het waren vertalingen van Spaanse comedias die vanaf het midden van de zeventiende eeuw volle zalen trokken. De toeschouwers kwamen af op veel spektakel en belangrijke rollen voor vrouwen. Dit had grote gevolgen voor het personeel van de Schouwburg, want er moesten voor het eerst actrices worden ingehuurd. Deze Nederlandse actrices waren veelzijdige diva’s met veel gevoel voor drama. Het publiek kwam speciaal om hen te zien. Verder onderzoek is noodzakelijk.
    Autorka artykułu na podstawie rachunków zarejestrowanych w archiwach analizuje popularność najważniejszych sztuk wystawianych na deskach Amsterdamse Schouwburg w latach 1650-1670. Najnowsze badania nad historią teatru niderlandzkiego oraz nad Amsterdamse Schouwburg pokazują, że ówczesna publiczność stawiała międzynarodowy i zróżnicowany gatunkowo repertuar wyżej nad klasyczne tragedie biblijne, które zapisały się w historii literatury. Wśród preferowanej twórczości znajdowały się tłumaczenia komedii hiszpańskich, które od połowy XVII w. przyciągały do teatru tłumy. Widzowie z entuzjazmem przyjmowali zarówno same spektakle, jak i ważne role odgrywane w nich przez kobiety. Miało to poważne konsekwencje dla personelu teatru, ponieważ po raz pierwszy konieczne się stało zatrudnienie aktorek. W amsterdamskim teatrze stały się one wszechstronnymi diwami o wielkim wyczuciu dramatu, przyciągającymi publiczność, która przychodziła specjalnie po to, by ujrzeć je na scenie. Autorka wskazuje na konieczność dalszych badań nad tym zagadnieniem.
    This article examines the popularity of the most important plays performed in the Amsterdamse Schouwburg between 1650 and 1670 on the basis of the receipts recorded in the archives. This recent research into Dutch theatre history and the Amsterdamse Schouwburg shows that the public enjoyed a repertoire that was much more international and multifaceted than just the classic Biblical tragedies mentioned in the literary histories. From the mid-seventeenth century, it was the translations of Spanish comedias that attracted a large audience. People enjoyed both the spectacle and the important roles for women. This had major consequences for the Schouwburg’s staff, because, for the first time, actresses had to be hired. These Dutch actresses were versatile divas with a great sense of drama, and the audience came especially to see them. Further research into this topic is recommended.     Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) is considered as a realistic substation of marine fuel in 21 century. Solution of building new engines or converting diesels into gas fueled propulsion meets the stringent international emission regulations. For HFO (heavy fuel oil) or MDO (marine diesel oil) propelled vessels, operation of bunkering is relatively wide known and simple. Its due to the fact that fuel itself doesn’t require high standards of handling. Where for LNG as a fuel its very demanding process – it evaporates and requires either consuming by bunker vessel or reliquefication. Distribution of such bunker is becoming multidimensional problem with time and space constrains. The objective of the article is to review the methods of optimization using genetic algorithms for a model of LNG distribution. In particular, there will be considered methods of solving problems with many boundry criteria whose objective functions are contradictory. Methods used for solving the majority of problems are can prevent the simultaneous optimization of the examined objectives, e.g. the minimisation of costs or distance covered, or the maximisation of profits or efficiency etc. Here the standard genetic algorithms are suitable for solving multi-criteria problems by using functions producing a diversity of results depending on the adopted approach.
