Opis:
Analysis of formulae of algebra algorithms (AA) written in xml - format is described in the paper. A specific editor uses the xml - format for AA formulae writing to and reading from the computer memory. The xml – format contains operation types, operation orientations, operation uniterm separation, and AA operation uniterms. There are shown features of algorithm formula transforms, the result of which are 5 times shorter algorithms while saving all algorithm functionalities.
Istniejąca algebra algorytmów (AA) zawiera specjalne znaki operacji, jakich nie ma wśród znaków matematycznych. Znaki mają skomplikowane formy. Znaki operacji mogą być stworzone z wykorzystaniem istniejących edytorów, takich jak na przykład Word. Jednak proces ich tworzenia jest bardzo skomplikowany i czasochłonny. Z tego powodu dla komputerowego edytowania formuł algebry algorytmów został stworzony specjalny edytor, którego główne okienko przedstawiono na rys.1. Dla zapisu formuł algebry algorytmów w pamięci komputera został stworzony specjalny format xml. Opisano format xml, służący do zapisu formuł algebry algorytmów do pamięci komputera. Zbudowano dwie formuły do analizy formatu xml, wykorzystane do identyfikacji i zapisu typów, orientacji i separatorów oraz unitermów operacji algebry algorytmów. Udowodniono, że te formuły umożliwiają wykonanie analizy formatu xml. Pokazano możliwości przekształcenia formuł algorytmów. W wyniku przekształceń możliwe jest 5 – krotne zmniejszenie liczby unitermów, przy zachowaniu wszystkich funkcjonalności formuły algorytmu.

Opis:
The subject of discussion in the article is the evolution of retail formats. It is assumed that the retail format is an aggregated and standardized product of a retail company. It is subject to the volatility characteristic of all social institutions; it goes to next phases of the life cycle, while also changing its structure. Although stores are still dominant in the retail sector formats, their share is dropping in favor of non-store formats. In Poland, a strong downward trend can be observed in the case of non-food formats, i.e. department stores and variety stores, contrary to food-oriented formats. A growing number of these stores is accompanied by changes in the design of these formats. These changes are analyzed in the case of discount stores operating on the Polish market.
Przedmiotem rozważań w artykule jest ewolucja formatów handlu detalicznego. Przyjęto, że format handlu stanowi zagregowany i zestandaryzowany produkt przedsiębiorstwa handlu detalicznego. Podlega on zmienności charakterystycznej dla wszystkich instytucji życia społecznego – przechodzi kolejne fazy cyklu życia, a jednocześnie zmienia się jego konstrukcja. Jakkolwiek nadal dominujące w strukturze handlu są formaty sklepowe, to ich znaczenie zmniejsza się na rzecz formatów pozasklepowych. W Polsce silną tendencję spadkową można obserwować w przypadku formatów zorientowanych na towary niespożywcze, tj. domów towarowych i handlowych, odwrotnie jest w przypadku formatów zorientowanych na artykuły spożywcze. Rosnącej liczbie tych sklepów towarzyszą zmiany konstrukcji formatów. Przeanalizowano te zmiany w odniesieniu do sklepów dyskontowych działających na polskim rynku.

Opis:
In the process of industrial automatization, collaborative robots are becoming an increasingly important tool in a wide range of industries. The robot assists humans in strenuous and repetitive tasks, in order to increase the productivity and well-being of the worker. The concept presented in this paper focuses on a flexible assistance function of a robot for multiple workstations simultaneously and incorporates different human-machine-interaction approaches. Therefore, an assembly table (Figure 2) with the possibility to study different concepts for one robot at the same time is designed and constructed. Aspects like ergonomics and safety are considered in the design. Additionally, a standardized data format that enables users and developers to control the robot through peripheral devices is created. As an example, gesture and voice control are discussed and evaluated.

Format telewizyjny staje się jednym z najbardziej popularnych form gatunkowych w telewizji. Współcześnie w propozycjach programowych stacji telewizyjnych istnieje wiele programów sformatowanych jak reality show, talent show, teleturnieje, talk show czy programy specjalistyczne. Ten sam schemat można zaobserwować w obszarze filmu i serialu telewizyjnego. Celem artykułu jest diagnoza zjawiska jakim jest serial formatowany oparty na określonym schemacie scenariuszowym. Opisane zostały typy seriali sformatowanych oraz ich znaczenie na rynku polskiej produkcji telewizyjnej.
The television format is happening one from the most of species popular forms on television. Many programs formatted as the reality show exist, talent show, television quiz shows, talk show or specialist programs. It is possible to observe the same scheme in the area of the film and the TV series. A diagnosis of the phenomenon with which formatted series are based on the specific script scheme is a purpose of the article. Described types of formatted series and their meaning of the Polish television production.

Opis:
The paper presents proposal for image data unit description using a half-byte format. It was implemented for medical images description. The introduced definitions express pixel values using differences between pixels and the introduced base value. This way the image recorded at half-byte format can be simply compressed by an appropriate compression, methods more effectively. The half-byte format is suitable for so called "natural" images with textures that are usually compressed with not satisfying results. For the given method illustration some example results were introduced.

Článok sa zaoberá problematikou začleňovania interaktívneho obsahu do výučby techniky pre nižšie sekundárne vzdelávanie. V článku je predstavený projekt návrhu metodiky implementácie interaktívnej tabule pri vzdelávaní ku kompetenciám v príprave učiteľov techniky, fyziky a matematiky pre nižšie sekundárne vzdelávanie, riešený na Fakulte humanitných a prírodných vied. Prešovskej univerzity v Prešove. Hlavnou úlohou pri riešení projektu je zadefinovanie metodiky tvorby interaktívneho obsahu ako aj jeho realizácia v podmienkach nižšieho sekundárneho vzdelávania. Interakcia medzi technickým zabezpečením, t.j. interaktívnou tabuľou, a výstupom vo vzdelávacom procese je realizovaná s pomocou softvérovej podpory. Pri príprave a práci s ňou je nutné ozrejmiť si v akom formáte bude výstup uložený, tak aby bola zabezpečená kompatibilita medzi jednotlivými softvérmi.
Article deals with the integration of interactive content in teaching techniques for lower secondary education. The article presented a project proposal for implementation methodologies whiteboard in education to competences in teacher training techniques, physics and mathematics for lower secondary education, addressed the Faculty of Humanities and Natural Sciences University of Prešov. The main role in solving the project is to define the methodology of interactive content as well as its implementation in terms of lower secondary education. The interaction between technical equipments, which are interactive whiteboards, and output in the learning process is performed with the software support. When preparing and working with it is necessary to clarify a format in which the output will be saved, so as to ensure compatibility between different software.

The paper is focused on analysing the competition system of the highest Polish football league, in particular the championship part after the main competition, introduced in the season 2013/2014 and modified in the season 2017/2018. It is a study of the changes in the rankings after the regular part of the season, both in the group playing for the title and in the relegation group. It simulates a hypothetical situation as if the system had not been changed for the 2017/2018 and 2018/2019 seasons and the situation as if the current system had been played since the 2013/2014 season. In both cases, the results do not show huge variations, which so far challenges the needs for the 2017 modifications. In the long term, we can see a trend of higher variation of standings in the championship part after the main competition rather than in the relegation group. However, there are no major variations regarding the last two positions meaning relegation. In the six analysed seasons, the standings varied only in the seasons 2015/2016 and 2016/2017 – when only one team moved regarding the relegation positions in both cases. The standing of the championship group teams varies much less; although only in two out of six analysed seasons, the regular season winning team have kept their positions and became the final champions.
Artykuł koncentruje się na analizie systemu rozgrywek w najwyższej polskiej lidze piłkarskiej, w szczególności części mistrzowskiej, wprowadzonej w sezonie 2013/2014 po głównej części rywalizacji i zmodyfikowanej w sezonie 2017/2018. Bada on zmiany w klasyfikacji po regularnej części sezonu, zarówno w grupie grającej o mistrzostwo, jak i w grupie spadkowej. Symuluje hipotetyczną sytuację braku zmiany systemu rozgrywek w sezonach 2017/2018 i 2018/2019 oraz sytuację, w której obecny system byłby wykorzystany od sezonu 2013/2014. W obu przypadkach wyniki nie wykazują dużej zmienności, a co za tym idzie, podważają potrzebę modyfikacji z 2017 roku.W dłuższej perspektywie można zaobserwować tendencję do większej zmienności wyników w części mistrzowskiej niż w grupie spadkowej. Nie ma jednak większych zmian w odniesieniu do dwóch ostatnich pozycji oznaczających spadek. W sześciu analizowanych sezonach wyniki różniły się jedynie w sezonach 2015/2016 i 2016/2017, kiedy w obu przypadkach tylko jedna drużyna zmieniła swoją pozycję spadkową. Pozycja zespołów grup mistrzowskich zmienia się w mniejszym stopniu, pomimo że tylko w dwóch z sześciu analizowanych sezonów zwycięzca sezonu regularnego zachował swoją pozycję i został końcowym mistrzem.

Autor wykazał w artykule, że interesy polityczne Niemiec związane z czołową rolą w działalności Formatu Normandzkiego (N4) związane były z utrzymaniem kanału komunikacyjnego z Rosją w okresie konfliktu w Ukrainie przy jednoczesnym utrzymaniu sankcji Unii Europejskiej wobec Federacji Rosyjskiej. Dążono do pokazywania opinii międzynarodowej ofiarnego zaangażowania Berlina w mediacji skonfliktowanych sąsiadów. Argumentem Berlina o nieskuteczności podjętych działań było przekonanie o wykluczeniu znalezienia porozumienia pokojowego ze względu na fundamentalne rozbieżności interesów Moskwy i Kijowa.
The author has shown that Germany’s political interests related to the leading role in the Normandy Format (N4) are related to keeping a communication channel with Russia open during the conflict in Ukraine while maintaining European Union sanctions against the Russian Federation. The article shows how Berlin’s involvement in mediation between the conflicted neighbors is presented internationally. An argument Berlin used was the inefficiency of sanctions. It was based on the conviction that a peace agreement was not possible due to fundamental divergence of interests between Moscow and Kiev.

Opis:
It would be difficult to find a knowledge domain in which data integration is as important as in medicine, being interested in human health and life. Firstly, medical data integration enables acquiring all the information, stored anywhere, about a patient who needs an urgent medical intervention. Secondly, thanks to the integration, we can obtain an aggregate data comprising all known, similar medical cases. In fact, the aggregate data is a source of medical knowledge and a base for formulating conclusions about hypothetical diagnoses, and methods of treating the disorder diagnosed. In the paper, it is shown that a uniform, theoretical approach for the both kinds of data integration: horizontal and vertical, respectively, is possible. It is an algebraic approach, joined together with the use of taxonomy of medical and related concepts. Having the algebra of the concepts, we can as well check the permissibility of data integrating (by means of the subsumption relation, defined on the set of all concepts), as describe the semantics of this process (by means of the usual algebraic operations of sum and intersection).

The aim of this article is to analyse let’s play not only as entertaining act of communication but also as an eclectic one which can make games exceed themselves. Let’s play as a method of game critique has developed some key characteristics. It’s not surprising, then, that one can observe the emergence of various subversive forms such as Robert Florence’s series “File System Aging” which rises as antithesis to the most popular channels. Florence directs his own player experience by merging software studies, ludology, stream of consciousness, and oneiric aesthetics known from David Lynch’s movies in order to defragment scattered memory of a gamer and a son. This article will look into the method of transgressive playformance and haptic interpretation used by the artist to expand the definition of a let’s play and therefore also that of a game.

PDB format is most commonly applied by various programs to define three-dimensional structure of biomolecules. However, the programs often use different versions of the format. Thus far, no comprehensive solution for unifying the PDB formats has been developed. Here we present an open-source, Python-based tool called PDBinout for processing and conversion of various versions of PDB file format for biostructural applications. Moreover, PDBinout allows to create one's own PDB versions. PDBinout is freely available under the LGPL licence at http://pdbinout.ibch.poznan.pl

The aim of this paper is to analyse France’s actions in relation to the war in Ukraine between 2014 and 2022, based on three pillars: 1) providing support for Ukraine (ceasefire and cessation of military activities); 2) coordinating actions at the international level (TCG, UN, OSCE); 3) maintaining open channels of dialogue with Russia (Macron-Putin) as a pathway to diplomatic solutions. The paper is an attempt at assessing whether and to what extent the joint ‘agenda of trust and security’ proposed to Moscow by the President of France has influenced the policy of ‘de-escalation’ of the conflict and the reduction of Russia’s neo-imperial ambitions. What were the effects of the dialogue within the so-called Normandy Format and to what extent did it influence the implementation of the Minsk agreements? The author presents the conclusion that from the very beginning, the goal for Russia has not been so much to settle the conflict in the Donbas and restore Ukraine’s territorial integrity, but to permanently block Kiev’s aspirations for EU accession and to keep Ukraine within Russia’s sphere of influence. The references of thepaper include official documents, statements from the main decision-making centres (the Élysée Palace, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of France), recognised foreign policy journals (“Politique étrangère”), as well as analyses and studies (French Institute of International Relations, IFRI).

Reading stamina, a term for someone’s ability to keep reading in one sit, is believed to be affected by the reading formats. Despite the crucial benefit of reading stamina for lifelong reading performance, it has not received much attention in literacy research. This study, thus, aims to find out the effect of reading formats (digital and print) on the reading stamina of college students. 70 Indonesian college students taking an English course were involved in this study. They were divided into two groups. 35 of them were asked to read a novel in digital format and the rest were asked to read a novel in print format for four-time meetings (30 minutes each). Their reading stamina was assessed through a reading behavior observation sheet. The students’ perception about their reading behavior was also collected through a self-reflection questionnaire adapted from Lynch (2018). The data obtained were analyzed quantitatively. The result showed that there was an increase in the students’ reading stamina for digital format from meeting one through meeting four, but a decrease in print format. Additionally, statistical analysis showed that there was a significant difference in the students’ reading stamina between those who read digital and print format (t (68) = 5.013, p < 0.05, d = 1.2). Regarding the students’ perception about their reading behavior, 69.20% of them mentioned that reading in print format was easier than reading digital format. These findings suggest that choosing appropriate reading format is pivotal for college students since abundant reading resources are available nowadays.
