The aim of this paper is to present the conception of learning as a discursive space. It presents the existing research in the field of critical discourse theory, cultural processes of learning as well as dialogic theory of learning. Different aspects of discourse of learning are discussed, including learning as a space for identity creation processes. Furthermore the issues of empty signifiers in a discourse of learning as well as cultural aspects of the discourse of learning and its consequences for identity creation processes are raised.

The paper examines a central question in the philosophy of dance from the vantage point of a specific choreographic practice: Movenglish. Movenglish attempts to establish a one-to-one mapping between English words and dance movement equivalents in the body in a way that maximally captures both the connotative and denotative aspects of the words in question. The paper argues that the success of Movenglish has several important consequences for the philosophy of dance as well as our understanding of sign systems more generally. The paper elaborates one of the strongest contributions to the philosophy of dance – the work of Susanne Langer – in order to show how the conclusions drawn from the dance produced through Movenglish both contribute to and depart from Langer’s philosophy.

The aim of my paper is to present the concept of postcolonial aesthetics, as well as to analyse the phenomena of multicultural aesthetics in public discourse in Poland. In my work the sociological perspective is accompanied with pedagogical one. I point out that aesthetics may be considered as space for identity formation. While analysing multicultural aesthetics in Polish public discourse, I focus on several phenomena. First, I describe invisibility of multicultural aesthetics in art discourse, as well as in educational discourse, and analyse the representations of multicultural aesthetics. I reconstruct the discourse of superiority of The Global North civilisation, and a parallel discourse of primitivism of the Global South. Next, I describe the proces ses of commercialisation and folklorization of multicultural aesthetics occurring in public sphere, especially in mass culture. Finally I reconstruct types of identities formed in the analysed material. The papers concludes with reference to Edward Said's demand for a constant critical reading o f culture.

The author describes a rare case of Echinococcus multivesicularis of the liver and lungs, giving brief data on the course of the disease and development of the parasite in the internal organs. Simultaneously he discusses difficulties of the diagnosis during the patient's lifetime. The author describes the changes in the cardiac muscle, connecting them with the toxic effect of Echinococcus multivesicularis, and emphasizes the rarity of this disease in our country.

Opis:
A way of establishing and caring for lawns in gardens based on our own researches and literature data have been discussed in the article. Because of aesthetical values and the functions which a lawn performs in the garden, the steps which are necessary to be taken to have a beautiful and durable lawn have been stressed. The optimal solution which allows improvement of the quality of lawns is a change of approach to the problem of starting and care over the lawn. For the reason of lack of sufficient number of studies in our country it would be advisable to use the scientific and practical elaborations from Germany as climatic conditions are very close to the ones in Poland.

This article introduces the synthetic material for future Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). The issues raised in it mainly concern the autonomy of these systems, applied design, propulsion systems, equipment and development trends in the UAS market. In addition, it presents global trends regarding methods of use, application and use of Unmanned Aerial Systems. Observing the growing realm of UAV in military actions it is expected to be the development of autonomous platforms implementing transport and combat missions. Increasingly used UAV platforms in military action jointly with manned platforms (mix formation) and in mixed formations of unmanned (UAV swarms differently equipped). Usage of unmanned aircraft in the civil sphere is very extensive and includes rescue operations – coordination and support, research – geodetic and cartographic, environmental protection, agriculture – monitoring of farmlands, natural resources, system warning of natural disasters; monitoring traffic – map navigation system; taking pictures and videos; data transfer.

Autorka zastosowała krytyczną analizę dyskursu. Analizowała przypadki bluźnierstw i oskarżonych o bluźnierstwo kobiet i mężczyzn. Materiał zinterpretowała przy pomocy teorii Judith Butler oraz teorii postkolonialnej.

Chociaż organizowanie społeczności lokalnej jako metoda pracy socjalnej zaczęło się rozwijać na Ukrainie jeszcze w latach dziewięćdziesiątych XX wieku, to jednak – w przeciwieństwie do indywidualnej i grupowej metody – obecnie wypada dopiero mówić o niesystematycznych próbach jego implementacji w działalność instytucji pomocy społecznej oraz organizacji pozarządowych. Celem artykułu jest ustalenie możliwości wykorzystania doświadczeń polskich w obszarze pracy socjalnej ze społecznością lokalną na Ukrainie. Badanie, którego wyniki są przedstawione w artykule, zostało ukształtowane jako tzw. desk research, z uwzględnieniem analizy ukraińskich oraz polskich publikacji naukowych, dokumentów, oficjalnych stron internetowych itd. Autor przedstawia historyczny kontekst rozwoju środowiskowej metody pracy socjalnej na Ukrainie oraz analizę ukraińskich aktów prawnych dotyczących zasad prowadzenia działań środowiskowych. W artykule dokonano przeglądu ukraińskich koncepcji i modeli środowiskowej pracy socjalnej. Szczególną uwagę poświęcono ocenie możliwości wykorzystania doświadczeń polskich przy wdrażaniu metody organizowania społeczności lokalnej na Ukrainie, w tym zarówno przez instytucje pomocy społecznej, jak i przez organizacje pozarządowe. Przeanalizowano możliwe strukturalno-instytucjonalne zmiany, możliwości wynikające ze stosowania tej metody podczas realizacji programów rewitalizacji, doświadczenia tworzenia ogólnopaństwowego koła profesjonalistów zajmujących się organizowaniem lokalnej społeczności. Autor dochodzi do wniosku, że wyzwania oraz bariery powstające przed środowiskową pracą socjalną w obu państwach są podobne, jednocześnie uznając za uzasadnione uwzględnienie doświadczeń polskich przy implementacji metody organizowania społeczności lokalnej w realiach ukraińskich.

Although community organizing as a method of social work began to develop in Ukraine in the 1990s, but unlike individual and group social work, the attempts to introduce it into the activities of social welfare institutions and non-governmental organizations were unsystematic and not very successful. The aim of the article is to determine the possibilities of Polish experience of community social work implementation in Ukraine, taking into account the ongoing reform of local self-government. The study, the results of which are presented in the article, was designed as a so-called desk research and based on the results of the comparative analysis of Ukrainian and Polish scientific publications, documents, official websites, etc. The historical background of community social work development in Ukraine is outlined, the analysis of Ukrainian legal acts regarding norms and principles on community organizing is conducted. The article provides an overview of Ukrainian concepts and models of community social work. Particular attention is paid to the possibilities of Polish experience’ application, while implementing community organizing into practice of social welfare institutions as well as of NGOs. Possible structural and institutional changes related to the implementation of community organizing in social work practice and its benefits for the revitalization programs were analyzed. Polish experience of establishing a nationwide circle of community social work professionals was described. The author concludes that the challenges and barriers arising before community social work in both countries are quite similar and assumes that it is reasonable to take into account Polish experience, while implementing community organizing in Ukrainian realities.
