Opis:
The church is in service to mankind – this fundamental conviction, which seemingly has been losing its value due to the ideological manipulation of the Church’s voice or by depriving it of its right to realize this service, spurs the increased reflection on the theological rudiments of this belief. The point is to direct the real actualization of fundamental and brave problematics concerning the mutual relations of the Church and the world, which was greatly emphasised by Second Vatican Council in the pastoral constitution Gaudium et spes. It appears that when trying to find grounds for ministerial role of the Church with respect to the world, we should bear in mind the triple relation of the Church and the world, which may be described schematically by three appropriate principles, close to each other in terms of their formulation, but semantically suiting well the issue in question. They are: the principle of communion, the principle of autonomy and the principle of transcendence. The meaning and restrictions of each of these principles manifest themselves when they are considered in general perspective, which is determined by redemptive aim of the Church, which can be fully attained only beyond earthly stage of its existence. This article focuses on the three mentioned principles, pointing at their specificity and ecclesiological meaning.

Po II Soborze Watykańskim pojawiają się w nauczaniu papieskim oraz w teologii postulaty kształtowania Kościoła na wzór Chrystusa. Postulat ten jawi się jako oczywisty, ale nie oznacza to, że jest łatwy do opisu teologicznego i do praktycznej realizacji. Z tej racji zagadnienie zasługuje na szerszą uwagę. W artykule zostaje podjęty aspekt chrzcielny zagadnienia, który wyznacza perspektywę jego ujmowania w odniesieniu do innych zagadnień eklezjologicznych. Chrzest wskazuje przede wszystkim na to, że Kościół opiera się w swoim istnieniu i w swojej misji na darze Chrystusa, na który potem w ścisłym związku z tym darem udziela odpowiedzi. Z odpowiedzi dawanej w takim duchu rodzi się upodobnienie Kościoła do Chrystusa.
After Second Vatican Council the pontifical teaching and theology mention the need for building of the Church on the Christ model. Although this postulate seems to be evident, it is quite challenging in terms of theological description and practical realisation. For this reason the problem is worthy of attention. This item discusses the baptismal aspect of the problem, which defines the perspective of the problem in reference to other ecclesiological issues. Baptism accentuates mostly the fact that the Church is based in its existence and mission on the gift of Christ. The Church answers to this gift and remains in strict relation with it. Thus, from the answer given in such a spirit stems the resemblance between the Church and Christ.

Wśród wielu wyzwań, przed którymi stoi dzisiaj Kościół, z nową siłą powrócił w ostatnich latach pluralizm kulturowy. Pozostaje niewątpliwym zadaniem teologii włączyć się w formułowanie konkretnych propozycji, które pozwoliłyby Kościołowi zmierzyć się z tym wyzwaniem w duchu tradycji i konkretnych doświadczeń wpisujących się w pamięć kościelną. Kluczową sprawą pozostaje pamięć o zasadach teologicznych, którymi należy się kierować, podejmując to wyzwanie. Na niektóre zasady zwracamy tutaj uwagę, starając się włączyć w debatę społeczną, niestety, nie zawsze poprawną, która toczy się w tej chwili.
Today the Church has to face numerous challenges. One of them – the cultural pluralism – has recently came back with a new strength. It is an unquestionable task of theology to take part in formulating specific propositions which would let the Church tackle the problem on the traditional level as well as with respect to particular experiences which remain in the memory of the Church. The thing which cannot be neglected is the memory of the theological principles which have to be observed while facing this challenge. Therefore some of these principles are discussed here as an attempt to join the public debate, regrettably not always appropriate, which is currently taking place. In the present situation an appropriate programme of action could be looked for on the basis of the tradition of the Church. In the light of the analyses that were carried out, this programme could be summarised in the following way: accept positively authorised cultural diversity; contribute to the sanctification and salvation of those cultures exposing and eliminating those elements which introduce contrast between them and the word of God; point out wider perspectives of human, social and cultural maturity, which are opened by faith and its dynamic manifestations.

Papież Franciszek zwrócił Kościół w kierunku nadania mu charakteru synodalnego, dlatego też kolejny synod biskupów zajmuje się już zagadnieniem synodalności i ma szukać jej właściwego kształtu. Ważne jest, aby dobrze znać genezę tego zagadnienia, gdyż tylko w ten sposób będzie można je właściwie podjąć i ukierunkować w służbie misji zbawczej, którą Kościół pełni. W nauczaniu papieża Franciszka znajdujemy jasno określone pryncypia, na których można budować poprawnie rozumianą synodalność i włączać ją w życie Kościoła na różnych poziomach jego funkcjonowania. Stanowią one właściwe przygotowanie do obecnego synodu biskupów oraz prawidłowe ukierunkowanie jego procesu i podejmowanych konkretnie prac.
Pope Francis has guided the Church so as to make her more synodal in character, which is why another Synod of Bishops already deals with the issue of synodality and is committed to find its appropriate shape. It is vital to analyse thoroughly the origins of this matter since only then it will be possible to deal with it correctly and to apply it in the mission of salvation pursued by the Church. In the teachings of pope Francis we can find clearly defined principles which may constitute a foundation for correctly understood synodality which can be incorporated in the life of the Church on different levels of her activity. These principles constitute an appropriate preparation for the present Synod of Bishops and the appropriate orientation for its proceedings and particular undertakings.

Przepowiadanie, zarówno Chrystusa, jak i apostołów, stanowi kluczowy element objawienia Bożego. Sobór Watykański II w konstytucji Dei Verbum dokonał najpierw ścisłego połączenia wydarzeń i słów w tajemnicy objawienia Bożego, a potem dowartościował słowo wyjaśniające, którego szczególną formą jest przepowiadanie. Soborowa konstytucja skłania nas zatem do refleksji nad teologicznym znaczeniem „przepowiadania apostolskiego”, wychodząc przede wszystkim od jego specyfiki – „jedyności”, którą ukazuje i poniekąd kodyfikuje początek tego przepowiadania w czasach apostolskich, a następnie do określenia jego znaczenia w życiu Kościoła oraz wpływu „normatywnego” na wszelkie przepowiadanie w Kościele. Niniejszy artykuł proponuje kilka wstępnych uwag teologicznych odnośnie do przepowiadania apostolskiego, które w dalszej perspektywie pokazują także specyfikę i znaczenie wszelkiego przepowiadania w Kościele.
The teaching of Christ and the Apostles is the key element of the revelation of God. Vatican II clearly connected the events and the words in the mystery of the revelation of God in the Dogmatic Constitution Dei Verbum, and later enhanced the importance of the explanatory word of which a proclamation is the special form. Therefore, the dogmatic constitution inspires us to reflect on the theological meaning of “the apostolic proclamation”. It begins in its specific “singular” character which points out and somehow codifies the beginning of the proclamation in the times of the Apostles. Then, it defines its meaning in the life of the Church and its “normative” influence on every proclamation within the Church. This article presents several introductory theological remarks that refer to the apostolic proclamation which, in the longer perspective, show the specific character and the meaning of the entire proclamation within the Church.

W nauczaniu II Soboru Watykańskiego zostało wyraźnie podkreślone, że teologia i życie Kościoła potrzebują stałego odniesienia do Maryi. W szczególny sposób wyraża tę potrzebę zastosowane do Maryi miano typus Ecclesiae, którym określali Ją już ojcowie Kościoła. Niniejszy artykuł stanowi próbę odniesienia tego określenia do ewangelizacji w Kościele, aby nadać jej także maryjny charakter. Wydaje się, że można do Maryi zastosować miano „typ ewangelizacji”, ponieważ w Jej wierze i w wynikających z niej kluczowych postawach znajdujemy takie elementy, które pozwalają nadać ewangelizacji bardzo określoną strukturę. Można więc także zasadnie postulować, aby ewangelizacja w Kościele była prowadzona w oparciu o maryjną strukturę.
The teaching of Second Vatican Council clearly emphasised that theology and the life of the Church are in need of constant reference to Mary. This need is especially manifested in the name typus Ecclesiae applied to Mary, which was already used by the Church Fathers. This article attempts to apply this name to the evangelisation in the Church, in order to make it Marian in character as well. It seems that the notion of „the type of evangelisation” can be applied to Mary, since in Her faith and in the key attitudes resulting from it we can find such elements which allow us to shape evangelisation according to a strictly defined structure. Therefore, it is justified to say that the evangelisation in the Church should be conducted according to Marian structure.

Objawienia prywatne stanowią w czasach nowożytnych jeden z fenomenów religijno-eklezjalnych, w stosunku do których nie może pozostać obojętne ani życie Kościoła, ani teologia. Wychodząc z tego założenia, podejmujemy w niniejszym opracowaniu próbę interpretacji objawień prywatnych, sytuując je między dwoma biegunami, którymi są: charyzmat i fakt Kościoła. Takie umiejscowienie zagadnienia sugeruje także tradycja kościelna, która od dawna stara się usytuować objawienia prywatne w jak najbardziej właściwej dla nich perspektywie. Wydaje się, że takie usytuowanie problematyki jest rzeczywiście odpowiednie z teologicznego punktu widzenia. Dowartościowuje ono zarówno szczególne dary Ducha Świętego udzielane wiernym, jak i instancję kościelną, zwłaszcza hierarchię, która pojawiające się charyzmaty uważnie bada i roztropnie włącza w życie Kościoła. Charyzmat objawień prywatnych zostaje w ten sposób doceniony zarówno w swoim wymiarze osobowym, jak i w wymiarze eklezjalnym.
In modern times private revelations are one of the religious and ecclesiastical phenomena in reference to which neither life of the Church nor theology should remain indifferent. Taking this into consideration, we make an attempt to interpret private revelations placing them between two poles: charisma and the fact of the Church. Such positioning of the problem is also dictated by the tradition of the Church which has been trying to place the private revelations in the most suitable perspective for a long time. It seems that such positioning is truly appropriate from the theological point of view. It appreciates not only special gifts of the Holy Spirit given to the faithful but also to the Church authority, especially the hierarchy which investigates scrupulously all appearing charismas and incorporates them judiciously into the life of the Church. Therefore, the charisma of the private revelations is appreciated in both ways, its personal and ecclesiastical dimensions.

Sakrament pokuty i pojednania – spowiedź – stał się w ostatnich dziesięcioleciach przedmiotem rozmaitych interpretacji teologicznych, które wpłynęły na jego praktykowanie. Niejednokrotnie proponowane interpretacje przyczyniły się do wywołania rozmaitych sytuacji kryzysowych w jego praktykowaniu albo przynajmniej wzbudzają podejrzliwość w stosunku do niego. Sytuacja domaga się ponownego przemyślenia niektórych aspektów teologii sakramentu pokuty i pojednania. Wydaje się, że utrwalona doktryna kościelna w tej materii sugeruje potrzebę przemyślenia zwłaszcza trzech kwestii: jaka jest specyficzna łaska sakramentu spowiedzi, na czym polega upodobnienie do Chrystusa, którego ten sakrament dokonuje, oraz w czym wyraża się jego właściwa eklezjalność. Na te trzy kwestie zostaje zwrócona uwaga w niniejszym artykule, przy bezpośrednim odniesieniu się do wspomnianych przejawów kryzysu w dziedzinie pokuty sakramentalnej.
The sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation – a confession – in the recent decades has become a subject of manifold theological interpretations which have influenced its practicing. Recursively suggested interpretations have resulted in various critical moments in its practicing, or at least they contribute to the rise of suspicions directed at it. The situation calls for reconsideration of certain aspects of the theology of the sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation. It appears that the Church doctrine preserved in this matter implies the need for consideration of the three most vital questions, namely: what is the specific grace of the sacrament of Penance, what does the likeness of Christ, resulting from this sacrament, consist in, and how is the actual ecclesiality of the sacrament manifested. This article focuses on these three questions, positioning itself in a direct reference to the mentioned symptoms of the crisis in the sphere of sacramental penance. In the case of the first question the reader’s attention is brought to the relation between the sacrament of Penance and Baptism, which makes it possible to grasp the specificity of sacramental penance. The second question emphasises the truth that the likeness of Christ the Redeemer, who through his death judges men’s sins, may be achieved only by penance. As far as the third question is concerned, it is reminded that through conversion and penance a Christian renews his bond with the Church that in turn supports the sinner in the act of conversion and penance.

Dzisiaj już wiemy, że Kościół, posiadający obok wymiaru boskiego także wymiar ludzki, stale potrzebuje adekwatnej i poprawnej teologicznie odnowy i reformy. Droga do powszechnego przyjęcia tego przekonania była bardzo długa, aż wyraziła się ostatecznie w znanej formule Ecclesia semper reformanda. Odwołujemy się do niej w teologii i w życiu Kościoła, starając się ją zrozumieć i odpowiednio zastosować. W tym miejscu proponujemy historyczne spojrzenie na jej genezę, która ukazuje także jej ogólne znaczenie eklezjalne i teologiczne, ale także jej ograniczenia, gdyż jej treść nie jest bynajmniej jednoznaczna.
This article attempts to trace the origins of the formula Ecclesia semper reformanda which is frequently referred to in ecclesiology as well as in debates on certain issues which have to be tackled in the contemporary Church. Although the idea of the reform of the Church is as old as the Church itself, the very formula dates back to the circles of the Dutch Reformed Church, with its author being reverend Jodocus van Lodenstein (1620‒1677) who included the formula in his treatise Beschouwinge van Zion (Utrecht 1674). It is likely that the formula, along with the very idea of the reform, was not acknowledged in the Catholic Church because of its origins. Contemporary theology has to undertake an important task and to give the formula the authentic meaning which will correspond with the catholic ecclesiology, which is definitely promoted by the Second Vatican Council and the teachings of post-conciliar popes.

Teologia jest pełnoprawną nauką, nawet jeśli jest ewidentna jej specyfika wynikająca zarówno z jej przedmiotu i metody, jak i z misji eklezjalnej, której pozostaje podporządkowana. W obecnym momencie historycznym, pośród wielu wyzwań, na teologii spoczywa zadanie ukazania, że jest ona pełnoprawną nauką akademicką pośród innych nauk. Świadczy o tym zarówno przedmiot, którym jest tajemnica Boga, jak również funkcja dydaktyczna. Na umocnienie znaczenia naukowego teologii mogłoby wpłynąć mocniejsze akcentowanie jej specyfiki badawczej oraz unowocześnianie dydaktyki teologicznej.
Theology has been a rightful branch of science for a long time. Obviously, it has its own specific character stemming both from its subject and scientific method, as well as from its specified ecclesiastical mission to which it remains subordinate. Theology is an entirely ecclesiastical science. Among other challenges pointed out by the theologians, theology has to show that it is a rightful academic discipline amid other sciences. It is acknowledged by its subject which is the mystery of God, as well as by its didactic function which consists in the transferring of the content which results from this mystery. Placing a stronger emphasis on its specific research character and on the modernization of theological didactics might support the scientific significance of theology. These very issues constitute the main subject of this article

Artykuł podejmuje niektóre zagadnienia dotyczące relacji zachodzącej między jurydyzmem i charyzmatami w rozumieniu, a tym samym także w urzeczywistnianiu się Kościoła. Zostaje szczególnie pokreślona potrzeba zintegrowanego pojmowania tych dwóch rzeczywistości. Jej warunkiem jest zarówno odpowiednia eklezjologia, widząca władzę w Kościele w służbie miłości, jak również odpowiednia antropologia, która pokazuje zasady urzeczywistniania współpracy człowieka z łaską. Przede wszystkim chodzi jednak o to, by z pozycji teologicznej oraz historycznej widzieć prawo i charyzmat jako rzeczywistości, które w punkcie wyjścia stanowią dynamiczną jedność.
The article addresses some issues regarding the relationship between juridism and charisms in the understanding and, therefore, in the realization of the Church. It particularly emphasizes the need for an integrated understanding of these two realities. Its condition is both an appropriate ecclesiology, which sees the authority in the Church in the service of love, as well as an appropriate anthropology, which shows the principles of implementing cooperation between man and grace. Above all, however, it is about seeing Church law and charisma from a theological and historical point of view as realities that, at their starting point, constitutea dynamic unity.

Krytyka Kościoła jest jednym z pilniejszych zadań do podjęcia w ramach refleksji teologicznej. Chodzi o to, by określić jej źródła, prawomocność, a także wskazać na ograniczenia, którym ona podlega. Źródłem krytyki Kościoła jest sama jego natura, która posiada wewnętrzny wymiar ludzki i historyczny, która czyni go nieadekwatnym w stosunku do jego ideału ukazanego w Jezusie Chrystusie. W artykule uwaga zostaje zwrócona głównie na dwa wymiary krytyki Kościoła, to znaczy krytykę wewnętrzną i krytykę zewnętrzną. W ramach krytyki wewnętrznej, która jako jedyna jest uzasadniona, można wskazać na dwa sposoby jej dokonywania. Pierwszym rodzajem krytyki, którą można uznać za prawomocną i wyjątkowo skuteczną, jest krytyka oparta na osobistej świętości, której przykładem jest św. Ignacy Loyola. Drugi rodzaj krytyki wyraża się w mocnym słowie o charakterze napominającym i oskarżającym – jej wyjątkowym przykładem jest św. Katarzyna ze Sieny. Krytyka zewnętrzna traci swoją prawomocność, ponieważ najczęściej łączy się z odchodzeniem od Kościoła, a tym samym kwestionuje to, co zamierza osiągnąć.
Criticism of the Church is one of the most urgent tasks to be undertaken as part of theological reflection. The point is to define its sources, legitimacy, and indicate the limitations to which it is subject. The source of the criticism of the Church is her very nature, which has an internal human and historical dimension that makes her inadequate to her ideal as revealed in Jesus Christ. The article focuses mainly on two dimensions of the criticism of the Church, that is, internal and external criticism. Within the framework of internal critique, which is the only one that is justified, there are two ways of making it. The first type of criticism that can be considered legitimate and extremely effective is that based on personal holiness, exemplified by St. Ignatius of Loyola. The second type of criticism is expressed in a strong admonishing and accusing word – an exceptional example of which is St. Catherine of Siena. External criticism loses its validity because it is most often associated with abandoning the Church and thus questions what it intends to achieve.
Kirchenkritik ist eine der dringlichsten Aufgaben der theologischen Reflexion. Es geht darum, ihre Quellen und ihre Legitimität zu definieren und die Grenzen anzugeben, denen sie unterliegt. Die Quelle der Kritik an der Kirche ist ihre Natur, die eine innere menschliche und historische Dimension hat, die sie ihrem in Jesus Christus offenbarten Ideal unangemessen macht. Der Artikel konzentriert sich hauptsächlich auf zwei Dimensionen der Kirchenkritik, nämlich interne und externe Kritik. Im Rahmen der internen Kritik, die als einzige berechtigt ist, gibt es zwei Möglichkeiten, sie zu machen. Die erste Art von Kritik, die als legitim und äußerst wirksam angesehen werden kann, ist die, die auf der persönlichen Heiligkeit beruht, wie sie der hl. Ignatius von Loyola. Die zweite Art der Kritik wird in einem stark warnenden und anklagenden Wort ausgedrückt - St. Katharina von Siena. Äußere Kritik verliert ihre Gültigkeit, weil sie meist mit dem Austritt aus der Kirche in Verbindung gebracht wird und damit deren Zielsetzungen hinterfragt.

We współczesnym Kościele mamy niewątpliwie do czynienia z kryzysem władzy. W Kościele już dość dawno realistycznie zdano sobie sprawę z tego faktu, co wyraźnie potwierdziły debata II Soboru Watykańskiego oraz wypowiedzi dotyczące tej delikatnej materii. Dokumenty soborowe w wielu miejscach podejmują to trudne zagadnienie, chociaż nie wyprowadzono z nich jeszcze całościowego i odnowionego rozumienia władzy i jej sprawowania w Kościele. Mając na uwadze właściwe głoszenie Ewangelii, musimy zagadnienia władzy w ogóle, a władzy świętej i duchowej w szczególności, podjąć w sposób zdecydowany i otwarty, zgadzając się w punkcie wyjścia na wprowadzenie koniecznych uaktualnień. W tym miejscu zwracamy uwagę na fakt, że zwłaszcza wprowadzone w nauczaniu soborowym zagadnienie kolegialności jawi się jako ważna, a nawet kluczowa próba odpowiedzi na kryzys władzy. Proponujemy niektóre uwagi na ten temat, a zwłaszcza podkreślamy konsekwencje, jakie wynikają z tego pojęcia dla rozumienia współodpowiedzialności za Kościół, która jawi się jako fundamentalne przesłanie II Soboru Watykańskiego. Kościół jest przede wszystkim Kościołem Jezusa Chrystusa, ale troska o niego jest powierzona wszystkim wierzącym.
The modern Church is undoubtedly troubled by a crisis of authority. This actual problem has been noticed quite long ago, which was clearly acknowledged by the session of the Second Vatican Council and the statements made there concerning this delicate issue. The conciliar documents touch upon this difficult matter at numerous points, although there has been no holistic and renewed conclusion drawn yet dealing with the issue of the authority and its exercise in the Church. Having regard to the appropriate preaching of the Gospel, we have to discuss the question of authority in general and the question of the holy and spiritual authority in particular, in an open and decisive way agreeing from the start to certain necessary actualisations. Here we point out that the idea of collegiality introduced in conciliar teaching manifests itself especially as an important or even key attempt to answer to the crisis of authority. We propound certain ideas dealing with the notion, but mostly we emphasise the consequences which stem from this idea for the understanding of joint responsibility for the Church, which appears to be the fundamental message of the Second Vatican Council. The Church belongs to Jesus Christ, however all the believers are summoned to take care of it.

Opis:
Święty Piotr Damiani (1007–1072) w swoim bogatym dorobku teologicznym zostawił także dziełko zatytułowane Dominus vobiscum. Zajmuje się w nim kwestią jedności Kościoła, którą ujmuje w perspektywie eucharystycznej. Pokazuje, a jaki sposób Eucharystia pozwala na odpowiednie rozumienie jedności Kościoła, a także na jej odpowiednie przeżywanie duchowe. Jest to zagadnienie tym ważniejsze, że chodzi w nim o uwypuklenie zbawczego znaczenia jedności Kościoła, która w sposób niejako pierwotny opisuje tajemnicę eklezjalnej wspólnoty. Ważnym elementem wykładu św. Piotra Damianiego jest pokazanie niektórych bardziej szczegółowych, poniekąd fenomenologicznych, aspektów tej jedności, wyrastających z jej koncentracji eucharystycznej, takich jak jedność czci oddawanej Bogu, jedność w modlitwie, jedność w wielości celebracji itd. Wszystkie te aspekty sprawiają, że jedność Kościoła jawi się w swojej głębokiej rzeczywistości oraz wyłania się jasno jej znaczenie duchowe i historyczne.
St. Peter Damian (1007–1072), in his rich theological acheivements, left also a short treatise entitled Dominus vobiscum. In this work he deals with the question of the unity of the Church, which he approaches from an eucharistic perspective. He shows how the Eucharist allows for a proper understanding of the unity of the Church, as well as for its proper spiritual experience. This issue is all the more important since it highlights the salvific meaning of the unity of the Church, which in an original way describes the mystery of ecclesial communion. An important element of St. Peter Damian’s treaties is to show some of the more detailed, somewhat phenomenological, aspects of this unity arising from its eucharistic concentration, such as unity in worship to God, unity in prayer, unity of a multitude of celebrations, etc. All these aspects make the unity of the Church appear in its deep reality and its spiritual and historical significance emerge clearly.

Tradycja teologiczna przekazuje nam bardzo jasne przekonanie o statusie naukowym teologii, nie wahając się jednak podkreślać także jej wymiaru mądrościowego. Do potrzeby rozwijania tego wymiaru powraca się we współczesnych poszukiwaniach dotyczących metody teologii, zachowując oczywiście jej status naukowy, odpowiednio przystosowany do potrzeb duchowych naszych czasów. W artykule zostaje zaproponowane, w jaki sposób można by dzisiaj kontynuować w sposób metodycznie uzasadniony takie ujęcie teologii. Zostaje podkreślone, że odniesienie do mądrości odpowiada temu, co dzisiaj nazywa się zaangażowaniem nauki w życie społeczne i kulturowe, a tym samym zostaje także pokazany aspekt praktyczny teologii, która pozostaje pierwszorzędnie nauką spekulatywną. W takim też znaczeniu jest ona nauką kościelną znakomicie pozostającą w służbie Kościoła i uczestniczącą na swój sposób w jego misji.
Theological tradition sends a clear message about the scientific status of theology and at the same time it emphasises its sapiential dimension. The need for the development of this dimension is recurrently taken up in the discussions over the method of theology, but of course, with the simultaneous maintenance of its scientific status appropriately adapted to spiritual needs of our times. This article proposes the way in which today such a perspective on theology could be pursued in a methodically justified way. It is highlighted that the reference to wisdom is relevant to what is today described as the involvement of science into social and cultural life, and coincidentally the practical aspect of theology which in the first place remains a speculative science is also demonstrated. In the same sense theology remains a church science which above all stays in the service of the Church and participates in its own way in the mission of the Church.
