    Artykuł jest wprowadzeniem do zagadnienia oceny i doskonalenia jakości systemów zarządzania wizualnego. W artykule przedstawiono idee, cele, narzędzia oraz beneficjentów zarządzania wizualnego. Określono podstawowe wymagania dla systemu zarządzania wizualnego. Zaproponowano wykorzystanie metody SERVPERF w celu poznania stopnia postrzegania jakości systemu zarządzania wizualnego. Określono 5 wymiarów jakości oraz aspekty jakości, podlegające ocenie w ramach tych wymiarów. W artykule przedstawiono metodykę badań w zakresie oceny zarządzania wizualnego z wykorzystaniem metody SERVPERF. Artykuł jest wstępem do dalszych badań w tym obszarze tematycznym.
    The article is an introduction to the assessment and improvement of the quality of visual management systems. In the article the ideas and objectives of visual management, its tools and beneficiaries were presented. The basic requirements for the system were defined. The SERVPERF method was proposed to use in order to know the degree of perception of quality of visual management system. 5 quality dimensions and their quality aspects were defined. In the article the methodology of the research in the context of assessment of visual management by using the SERVPERF method was presented. The article is an introduction to further research in this topic.

    Opis:
    Celem artykułu jest określenie możliwości wykorzystania koncepcji zarządzania wizualnego do doskonalenia działalności i procesów realizowanych w firmach produkcyjnych. W artykule wskazano potencjał tej koncepcji zarządzania w komunikowaniu informacji oraz przy identyfikacji i rozwiązywaniu problemów. Podkreślono fakt przewagi tej koncepcji nad innymi, ze względu na to, że odwołuje się do głęboko ludzkich cech, ponieważ odbiorcy, czyli pracownicy są najbardziej wrażliwi na bodźce wzrokowe, dotykowe i dźwiękowe, kiedy znajdują się bezpośrednio w ich otoczeniu. Wskazano podstawowe cele zarządzania wizualnego w firmach produkcyjnych, uwarunkowania jego stosowania, sposoby jego oceny skuteczności i efektywności oraz korzyści wynikające z jego wdrożenia. Słowa kluczowe: zarządzanie, zarządzanie wizualne, doskonalenie, procesy produkcyjne.
    The aim of the article is to show the ability to use visual management concepts to improve operations and processes in manufacturing companies. The article indicates the large potential of this management concept in communicating information and solving the problems, it was highlighted the fact of superiority that concept over the others due to the orientation on human senses, particularly the sense of sight by the fact that the recipient - employees are the most sensitive to visual stimuli, tactile and auditory, when they are directly in our environment. It specifies the fundamental objectives of the use of visual management in manufacturing companies, conditions of its use, ways to assess the effectiveness and efficiency and tangible benefits resulting from the implementation of this concept.

    The article presents research results in a scope of evaluation importance in visual control usage in the production processes of enterprises from automotive industry. The significance of visual control in a production process was characterized. An innovative BOST questionnaire survey was described as a tool for transformation of Toyota's management principles into questions. The survey questions from BOST study were described, which is used in evaluation of the visual control importance with reference to the second Toyota's management principle (question E3). The analysis of respondents preference in ranging factors of the second Toyota's management principle was conducted using comparative evaluation of Thurstone’s method, as well as the degree of similarity between these factors was indicated. A subjective factor was assessed by employees of automotive industry as one of less significant in the production process.

    Opis:
    This article presents a theoretical basis for one type of control in enterprises – visual control. It presents the meaning of visual control in the Toyota Production System and BOST researches as a tool of measure, among other things, the importance of visual control in production companies. The level of importance of visual control usage as one of the production process elements in the analysed company was indicated. The usage of visual control is a main factor in a production process of the analyzed company, the factor which provides continuous help to employees to check whether the process differs from the standard. The characteristic progression of production process elements was indicated and the SW factor (the use of visual control) took the third place, PE factor (interruption of production when it detects a problem of quality) turned out to be the most important one, while the least important was the EU factor (granting power of attorney down). The main tools for this evaluation : an innovative BOST survey - Toyota's management principles in questions, in particular, the Pareto-Lorenz diagram, radar graph and series of importance as graphical interpretation tools, were used to present the importance of each factor in relation to individual assessments.

    Prezentowany artykuł to case-study z doskonalenia procesu produkcyjnego poduszek powietrznych, gdzie do zainicjowania doskonalenia wykorzystano wyniki z procesów kontroli wizualnej badanego wyrobu. W artykule przedstawiono wyniki analizy struktury niezgodności badanego wyrobu, na podstawie których zidentyfikowano niezgodności krytyczne. W tym celu wykorzystano diagram Pareto-Lorenza. Najczęściej występująca niezgodność badanego wyrobu to rysy i zadrapania na powierzchni poduszki powietrznej, która to niegodność wykrywana jest za pomocą kontroli wizualnej. W celu analizy niezgodności krytycznej wykorzystano takie metody, jak: 5W1H, 5WHY. Metoda 5W1H pozwoliła lepiej rozpoznać badany „krytyczny” problem. Z kolei dzięki metodzie 5WHY, a dokładniej jej wersji w postaci diagramu WHY-WHY, wskazano na przyczynę źródłową problemu, w odniesieniu do której zaproponowano działania zaradcze. Przeprowadzone analizy dowiodły, że dzięki analizie wyników z kontroli jakości (kontroli wizualnej) można ograniczyć występowanie problemów jakościowych, a tym samym udoskonalić proces produkcyjny.
    The presented article is a case-study on improving the production process of airbags, where the results of visual inspection processes of the analysed product were used to initiate the improvement. The article presents the results of the analysis of the non-conformity structure of the tested product, on the basis of which critical nonconformities were identified. For this purpose, the Pareto-Lorenz diagram was used. The most frequent nonconformities of the analysed product are scratches on the surface of the airbags, which is detected by visual inspection. To analyze the critical nonconformities, methods such as 5W1H, 5WHY were used. The 5W1H method allowed to better recognize the studied "critical" problem. In turn, thanks to the 5WHY method, and more precisely its version in the form of the WHY-WHY diagram, the root cause of the problem was indicated, for which remedial action was proposed. The analyzes carried out proved that thanks to the analysis of the results from the quality control (visual inspection) it is possible to limit the occurrence of quality problems and thus improve the production process.
