Opis:
Necessary and sufficient conditions are established for the pointwise completeness of 2D standard and positive Fornasini-Marchesini models with state-feedbacks. Similar relations are obtained for the pointwise degeneracy of the 2D models with state-feedbacks. It is shown that if the positive 2D model is pointwise complete then there exists a gain matrix of the state-feedback such that the closed-loop system is pointwise degenerated if both matrices B1 and B2 of the 2D Fornasini-Marchesini model are nonzero. The considerations are illustrated by numerical examples.

Opis:
The analysis of the positivity and stability of linear electrical circuits by the use of state-feedbacks is addressed. Generalized Frobenius matrices are proposed and their properties are investigated. It is shown that if the state matrix of an electrical circuit has generalized Frobenius form then the closed-loop system matrix is not positive and asymptotically stable. Different cases of modification of the positivity and stability of linear electrical circuits by state-feedbacks are discussed and necessary conditions for the existence of solutions to the problem are established.

Opis:
The stability of positive linear continuous-time and discrete-time systems is analyzed by the use of the decomposition of the state matrices into symmetrical and antisymmetrical parts. It is shown that: 1) The state Metzler matrix of positive continuous-time linear system is Hurwitz if and only if its symmetrical part is Hurwitz; 2) The state matrix of positive linear discrete-time system is Schur if and only if its symmetrical part is Hurwitz. These results are extended to inverse matrices of the state matrices of the positive linear systems.

Opis:
A new class of positive continuous-discrete linear systems with delays in state vector described by the model based on 2D general model is addressed. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the positivity and asymptotic stability of this class of linear systems are established. A procedure for checking the asymptotic stability is proposed. The effectiveness of the procedure is demonstrated on a numerical example.

The realization problem for linear hybrid systems described by the general model is formulated and solved. Sufficient conditions for the existence of positive realizations are established. Opis:
A method for finding of the solutions of the state equations of descriptor fractional discrete-time linear systems with regular pencils is proposed. The derivation of the solution formula is based on the application of the Z transform and the convolution theorem. A procedure for computation of the transition matrix is proposed. The effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated on a simple numerical example.
Podano metodę wyznaczania rozwiązań równań stanu deskryptowych układów dyskretnych rzędów niecałkowitych o pękach regularnych. Rozwiązanie to zostało wyprowadzone korzystając z przekształcenia zet i twierdzenia o transformacie splotu. Zaproponowano procedurę wyznaczania macierzy tranzycji tych układów. Proponowaną metodę zilustrowano przykładem numerycznym.

The problem of zeroing of the state variables in fractional descriptor electrical circuits by state-feedbacks is formulated and solved. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of gain matrices such that the state variables of closed-loop systems are zero for time greater zero are established. The procedure of choice of the gain matrices is demonstrated on simple descriptor electrical circuits with regular pencils.

The problem of stabilization of fractional positive linear continuous-time linear systems with delays by state-feedbacks is addressed. The pointwise completeness and pointwise degeneracy of standard and positive linear discrete-time and continuous- time systems with state-feedbacks are addressed. It is shown that: 1) the pointwise completeness and pointwise degeneracy of continuous-time standard systems are invariant under the state and output feedbacks, 2) for standard and positive discrete-time and positive continuous- time systems necessary and sufficient conditions are established for the existence of gain matrices of statefeedbacks such that the closed-loop systems are pointwise complete. Considerations are illustrated by numerical examples.

Opis:
A new modified state variable diagram method is proposed for determination of positive realizations with reduced numbers of delays and without delays of linear discrete-time systems for a given transfer function. Sufficient conditions for the existence of the positive realizations of given proper transfer function are established. It is shown that there exists a positive realization with reduced numbers of delays if there exists a positive realization without delays but with greater dimension. The proposed methods are demonstrated on a numerical example.

The inverse Frobenius matrices and the characteristic equations of the inverse systems are investigated. It is shown that the inverse system of continuous-time linear system is asymptotically stable if and only if the standard system is asymptotically stable and the inverse system of discrete-time linear system is asymptotically stable if and only if the standard system is unstable. Electrical circuits with state-feedbacks are addressed. It is shown that by suitable choice of the gain matrices of state-feedbacks it is possible to obtain the closed-loop system matrices with nilpotency indices equal to two and their state variables are linear functions of time. The considerations are illustrated by linear electrical circuits.
