Opis:
The text connects problems of village renewal, especially a new approach for development of the countryside - a conception of the "thematic village" and need for protection of cultural landscape. In the landscape of Stara Wieś near Przybórz a newly found Japanese sportsand culture center will be a strong spatial and cubature accent. Also, it will have a significant influence on existing cultural and social values. This investment will become a differing element for the village. On such a base a thematic village can be created. Social participation takes a key role in it's correct functioning - due to which the local population will identify with the "theme" of their village. Stress has also been laid in this work on the estimation of the influence of this investment on changes in spatial order and forming a new spirit of place (genius loci). Recapitulation leads to the conclusion, in which the concept of a "thematic village" has been systemized. A "Thematic village" can also function, when differing elements (just like in Stara Wieś) are introduced artificially, in the form of a new and significant investment.

Opis:
The scope of an article that is presented below covers a preliminary analysis of a wireless link of ultrasound signal transmission in commercial radio frequency band (UHF). The radio link is used to transmit short ultrasound bat-like biosonar signals. Because of complicated structure properties and of transmitted signals the various methods of wireless transmission are shown. The hardware implementation consists of micro-electro-mechanical system microphone, microphone preamplifier and FM transmitter. At the end of the radio link a standard FM receiver is used. Since we use frequency modulation an influence of the radio link on received signal parameters is presented. The analysis of results provides us a set of information that might be used in designing of large scale wireless sensor networks for bats behavior monitoring.

Opis:
The work presents the results of experimental study on the possibilities of determining the source of an ultrasonic signal in two-dimensional space (distance, horizontal angle). During the research the team used a self-constructed linear array of MEMS microphones. Knowledge in the field of sonar systems was utilized to analyse and design a location system based on a microphone array. Using the above mentioned transducers and broadband ultrasound sources allows a quantitative comparison of estimation of the location of an ultrasonic wave source with the use of broadband modulated signals (modelled on bats’ echolocation signals) to be performed. During the laboratory research the team used various signal processing algorithms, which made it possible to select an optimal processing strategy, where the sending signal is known.
