- In the article the author presents, on selected examples, the possibilities of implementing axiological education in the context of books from the mentioned biographical series. A linguistic conversation about characters significant for the development of human civilization, acting as an authority, approximated to the young reader by the authors of the series, may concern many issues, such as: role and significance of a family home for shaping a man, school life, the possibility of creative participation of the individual in the process of changing the world (displaying personality traits that help in achieving success). The Polish language teacher also has the opportunity to consider issues related to the concepts of Other-Stranger, upbringing for peace and the implementation of memorization practices on the times of World War II. He teaches the art of interpreting various texts and indicates the possibilities of intersemiotic practices.
