- The article aims to present the importance of education focused on the human subjectivity. The idea of subjectivity is inextricably connected to the concept of human seen as a person, as found in the field of humanist psychology. Human as a subject is an active and decision-making initiator of actions, someone who occupies the surrounding reality, someone who takes on social roles, and someone who undertakes tasks. Slow in education focuses not on the pace of learning, but on the enjoyment of learning and the spontaneity found at the root of the participation in the learning process. Slow helps to practice contemplation, internal balance, dialogue, empathy, and intellectual openness.
