Opis:: This paper presents a general view of a proposal for a digital reinterpretation of a collection of scientific instruments belonging to the Physics Cabinet of the Science Museum of the University of Coimbra. In this cataloging, the local and global aspects of each instrument are inventoried and represented by a semantic network of concepts, facts, ideas, and narratives, resulting in a knowledge base about scientific physics instruments. This knowledge base will be made available to students, researchers, and the general public through a mobile phone application. The article also offers a review of the transformations of the conceptual models of material culture studies related to scientific instruments and adds some contributions to this field of study.

Opis:: Designing products is a sequence of decisions. Especially early decisions have great impact on later product life cycle stages. The more complex products become the more information is required in order to support design when making decisions. The present contribution shows for the example of the skill-intensive technology of microsystems, what tools can be applied. First, design processes in microtechnology are presented, which depict the necessity of bringing knowledge from later product life cycle stages to the early ones. For this front loading process design rules as a methodological means of support are proposed. Further on that paper presents two tools that are based on design rules, which support the designer. The first one, wikis, open content management systems represent knowledge from later stages for design engineers. The same design rules on a formal level can be implemented into the second proposed tool, a knowledge-based engineering system.

Opis:: Innovations in how a postgraduate course in knowledge management is delivered have generated better learning outcomes and made the course more engaging for learners. Course participant feedback has shown that collaborative active learning is preferred and provides them with richer insights into how knowledge is created and applied to generate innovation and value. The course applies an andragogy approach in which students collaborate in weekly dialogue of their experiences of the content, rather than learn the content itself. The approach combines systems thinking, learning praxis, and active learning to explore the interdependencies between topics and how they impact outcomes in real world situations. This has stimulated students to apply these ideas in their own workplaces.

Opis:: The Encyclopedia about Nosivka raion is an object of the article. This regional encyclopedia was founded in 2019. It is an open-ended online encyclopedia built on the model of Wikipedia. The similarities with Wikipedia, features of the structure and content of encyclopedia articles, as well as authors and those who contribute to the encyclopedia textual corpus are highlighted.
У статті висвітлено особливості створення й структури регіональної «Енциклопедії Носівщнини» – онлайн-енциклопедії відкритого типу, заснованої 2019 року за зразком «Вікіпедії». Окреслено спільні риси з «Вікіпедією», коло авторів і тих, хто сприяє поповненню енциклопедії новими матеріалами.
