    This article suggests one of the possible ways of integrating teaching methods from the integration methods developed by the authors, namely: the integration based on the dominant teaching method. The article aims to substantiate the author’s methods of integrative teaching based on the dominant method and present the results of the approbation of these methods in higher schools. The project was implemented within the course “Medical Biophysics”. An integration algorithm as a dominant teaching method is proposed. The project contained several specific techniques. In the first specific method, the situational method is chosen as the dominant one. For the second one, the method of trials and coincidences is dominant. For diagnostics as a complex topic in medicine, physics, chemistry and other sciences, the problem method as dominant is dominant. In all methods, several other methods are gradually integrated into the dominant method, depending on the content and nature of the educational material. The practical significance of the project is to create algorithms for integrating teaching methods and the possibility of their transformation into other educational topics. The approbation shows an increase in the indicators of saving time and flexibility of knowledge.

    The study presents results of research investigations conducted in one elementary school in connection with implementation of mathematics teaching in English using the CLIL method. The aim of the presented case study was to contribute to uncovering the influence of this teaching method on the academic results of pupils in mathematics and the study outlines briefly an analysis of the pupils’ strategies used when solving word problems at elementary school level. At the same time, the paper also presents possible causes of the changes, which were identified in the pupils’ ways of solving word problems.

    This research aims to study the application of using films in teaching the Arabic language to Korean students. Recently, level based classes and developing communication skills are becoming important goals in foriegn language education. The most effective way to develop the student’s communication skills is to expose them to real life situations and related resources. Films are replicas of real life situations and thus are effective especially in teaching spoken language. This research implies the following things to Arabic education. First, it is best to provide realistic data to students to improve their communication skills. Selecting films that contain conversations and expressions that are used every day, while avoiding violence or contents of too much slang, will allow students to continuously remain interested and focused. Second, a program that connects films to CD-ROM for textbooks needs to be created. Additionally, there is a need to increase the understanding of spoken language through various study programs for Korean teachers. Finally, using interesting films to motivate students will have positive effects and will allow them to approach Arabic through understanding of the language rather than pure memorization.

    Ponad dwadzieścia cztery wieki temu Konfucjusz napisał: „Co usłyszę zapomnę. Co zobaczę, zapamiętam. Co sam zrobię, zrozumiem”. Silberman M., przy współpracy Auerbach C., rozwinęli tą sentencję Konfucjusza i nazwali ją „Credem uczącego się”. Brzmi ono następująco: „Gdy usłyszę zapomnę. Gdy usłyszę i zobaczę, zapamiętam. Gdy usłyszę, zobaczę i porozmawiam, zrozumiem. Gdy usłyszę, zobaczę, porozmawiam i zrobię, zdobywam sprawność i wiedzę. Gdy uczę innych, dochodzę do mistrzostwa”. Sentencja Konfucjusza i Credo uczącego się zwracają uwagę na kwestię korelacji pozyskanej wiedzy ze sposobem uczenia się. Celem referatu jest identyfikacja i ocena nowoczesnych metod nauczania logistyki z punktu widzenia studentów. W referacie opisano wyniki badań empirycznych.
    Confucius had written in 24th century odd: “Whatever it will comes to my notice I will forget. Whatever I will see I will remember. Whatever I will do myself, I will understand”. Silberman M., collaborated with Auerbach C., developed Confucius maxim and termed their maxim: “The creed of studying”. The creed of studying is as follows: “When it will comes to my notice I will forget. When it will comes to my notice and I will see, I will remember. When it will comes to my notice, I will see and I will talk, I will understand. When it will comes to my notice, I will see, I will talk and I will do I will have an efficiency and a knowledge. When I will teach I will be an expert” The maxim of Confucius and The creed of studying focus attention on a question of a correlation between the knowledge and the teaching method. The aim of the article is the identify and evaluation of modern teaching methods of logistics from student’s point of view. In article the results of empirical research have been described.

    There are many reasons for which proficiency in foreign languages has become indispensible in today's world. Language schools and classes are enjoying ever growing popularity. The rich offer of language schools in Lublin advertises a wide spectrum of teaching methods with the aim of attracting new clients and enticing potential students. This abundance begs the question of how effective the methods employed by those schools really are in the process of foreign language teaching.

    Porównano efekty nauczania metodami: e-learningu oraz metodą tradycyjną, zastosowanymi w nauczaniu przedmiotu "Maszyny Rolnicze" (w trzech tematach). W obu grupach studentów (tradycyjna i e-learningowa) przeprowadzano zaliczenie w tym samym czasie. Testy zaliczeniowe były identycznej treści. Wszyscy biorący udział w głównym eksperymencie byli studentami II roku Wydziału Rolniczego. Można stwierdzić, że e-learning jest przydatnym narzędziem wspomagającym nauczanie przedmiotu technicznego na studiach wyższych. Szczególną zaletą jest ogromne znaczenie motywacyjne. Jednakże, ponieważ studenci uczeni e-learningowo nie są bezpośrednio kontrolowani, wymaga się od nich więcej samodyscypliny.
    The researchers compared the results of teaching using two methods: e-learning and conventional, for the subject "Farm Machines" (in three topics). Both student groups (conventional and e-learning) were getting credits for the subject at the same time. Credit tests were identical in content. All participants in the main experiment were 2-nd year students at the Department of Agriculture. The research has showed that e-learning is a useful tool supporting teaching of technical subject at a university level. Its particular advantage is an immense motivating value. However, since students taught using the e-learning method are beyond direct control, they are required to have more self discipline.

    В статье раскрыты результаты историко-педагогического анализа процесса становления, развития и распространения методов обученияиностранным языкам. Представленный в статье опыт обобщения методов формирования иноязычных компетенций построен по хронологическому принципу: рассмотрены методы, возникшие в эпоху Древнего мира, период Средневековья, Нового и Новейшего времени.Пристальное внимание уделено систематизации общедидактических и частных методов обучения иностранным языкам. Интерес у польскихисследователей и педагогов-практиков может вызвать описанный в статье методический потенциал российской школы преподавания. Результатом проведенного исследования является актуализация исторически сложившихся, но редко применяемых в современномобразовании методов.
    The article reveals the results of historical and pedagogical analysis of the process of formation, development and dissemination of methods of teaching foreign languages. The experience of generalization of methods for forming foreign language competencies presented in the article is based on a chronological principle: the methods that emerged in The ancient world, the Middle ages, the New age and Modern times are considered. Close attention is paid to the systematization of general didactic and private methods of teaching foreign languages. The methodological potential of the Russian school of teaching described in the article may be of interest to Polish researchers and practical teachers. The result of the research is the actualization of historically developed, but rarely used in modern education methods.

    Jakość funkcjonowania systemu edukacyjnego zależy od wielu czynników, z których na plan pierwszy wysuwa się osoba nauczyciela, jego rzeczywiste wykształcenie i przygotowanie do pracy pedagogicznej z dziećmi. „Warsztat pracy” nauczyciela powinien być oparty nie tylko na potocznym doświadczeniu, ale przede wszystkim dobrze osadzony we współczesnej teoretycznej myśli pedagogicznej. Nauczyciel przygotowując się do zajęć, powinien bezwarunkowo znać zasady obowiązujące w pracy dydaktyczno-wychowawczej z dziećmi, metody nauczania i uczenia się, formy organizacyjne pracy uczniów, a także środki dydaktyczne, które mają za zadanie wspierać jego pracę. Niniejsza praca miała na celu poznanie opinii nauczycieli klas 1-3 na temat stosowania metod wspierania aktywności edukacyjnej uczniów. Główną metodą badawczą był sondaż diagnostyczny z techniką ankiety. Przeprowadzone badania pozwoliły na uzyskanie odpowiedzi w ramach sformułowanych w pracy problemów badawczych. Wyniki tych badań są oznaką przyjmowania przez współczesną edukację wczesnoszkolną założeń teorii humanistycznej oraz koncepcji konstruktywistyczno-interakcyjnej. Coraz większą wagę przykłada się do procesu uczenia się, a nie nauczania. Uczeń staje się podmiotem o własnych zainteresowaniach i indywidualnych potrzebach, który ma prawo do wielointeligentnego rozwoju. Jest to nadrzędny cel kształcenia zintegrowanego, który mamy możliwość współcześnie osiągać właśnie m.in. dzięki stosowaniu różnorodnych metod wspierania edukacyjnego uczniów. Taki sposób działania, opierający się na twórczej aktywności, decyduje o maksymalizowaniu szans rozwojowych dziecka. Uczeń w swoich osobistych działaniach, wykorzystując doświadczenia zdobyte na zajęciach, w których stosowane są metody aktywizujące, problemowe, oglądowe i słowne, staje się pełnowartościową, twórczą jednostką umiejącą podejmować wszelkie wyzwania, a następnie radzić sobie z nimi w codziennym życiu.
    The quality of the educational system functioning depends on many factors among which the person of the teacher, his accrual education, and preparation for working with children are the most important. The teacher’s “equipment” should not only be based on the colloquial experience, but, first of all, it should be well rooted in the contemporary theoretical pedagogical thought. While preparing for the classes, the teacher should unconditionally know the principles of the didactic-educational work with children, the methods of teaching and learning, organisational forms of working with students, as well as didactic tools that are to support his/her work. This work aimed at learning the opinion of teachers of classes I-III on the use of methods supporting the students’ educational activity. The main research method was a diagnostic survey with the technique of a questionnaire. The research made it possible to obtain the answers to the research problems formulated in the work. According to the research results, teachers see the need to focus on the process of learning, and not teaching. The student becomes a subject with his/her own interests and individual needs, and he/she has the right to intelligent development in different aspects of his/her life. It is the most important objective of integrated education which we are now trying to achieve through, inter alia, the use of various methods of the students’ educational support. Such a way of acting, based on creative activity, determines the maximization of the child’s developmental chances. In his personal actions, the student, using the experience gained during the classes when activating, problem, analytical and verbal methods are applied, becomes a competent, creative unit who can take up all challenges, and then deal with them in everyday life.

    Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to develop hypotheses regarding the factors shaping the internal motivation of academic teachers to improve their teaching skills. Teaching methods and forms of communication have become the main research context. Design/methodology/approach: The studies were based on the review of literature on motivation theory and pilot surveys. The pilot analysis was based on data visualization methods and factor analysis. Findings: The use of modern communication methods might be correlated to age, and the use of modern teaching methods to gender. The teaching methods and forms of communication with students are influenced by factors related to the need to acquire knowledge and peer pressure. Originality/value The paper stresses an important aspect of the work of an academic teacher which is didactic work, which is not often taken into account in scientific research. The paper attempts to examine the factors that shape the teacher's motivation to improve their working methods in this regard.

    Artykuł zawiera subiektywne wypowiedzi trojga pracowników WST w Katowicach prof. Tadeusza Jackowskiego, mgr Michaliny Wawrzyczek-Klasik, mgr Artura Masternaka. Dotyczą one szeroko rozumianej grafiki, jej rozwoju i ekspery-mentowania z nią, a także prywatnych inspiracji i autorytetów w dziedzinie. Każdy z interlokutorów porusza te same zagadnienia, wspominając okres swoich studiów, uchylając rąbka tajemnicy własnego warsztatu artystycznego i peda-gogicznego, spojrzenia na sztukę i pracę zawodową. Taki zabieg pozwala na szerokie, wielopłaszczyznowe ukazanie relacji między profesorem a studentem, między mistrzem i uczniem. Projekt powstał po śmierci nieodżałowanego prof. Romana Staraka, który był mentorem i przyjacielem autorów artykułu.
    The article contains subjective statements of three academic staff members of the Katowice School of Technology, professor Tadeusz Jackowski, Michalina Wawrzyczek- Klask MSc, and Artur Masternak MSc. These statements concern a broadly-understood subject of graphics, its development, experimenting with it, as well as private inspirations and authorities in the field. Each of the interlocutors talks about the same topic, remembering the time of his studies, and revealing a small part of their own artistic and teaching workshop, their view on art and professional work. Such an approach allows for a broad, multi-layered show of the relationship between professor and the student, the master and the apprentice. The project was completed after the death of the late great professor Roman Starak, who was a mentor and a friend of the authors of the article.
