Opis:: The present paper retraces some results of my own investigations, among other authors, on such questions as negation, levels of analysis of sentences, and internal structure of NPs, after years of research in the field. It suggests some possible paths of further investigations, among others: thus, negation needs a multi-levels of analysis, including an enunciative component; syntax requires an adequate description of informative value of items, and the internal composition of determiners in French remains an open question.

Opis:: Autorka niniejszego artykułu w swych badaniach opiera się na lingwistycznej teorii syntaktemów Galiny Zołotowej. Każda konstrukcja składniowa może być rozpatrywana zarówno w planie analizy, jak i syntezy jako kombinacja syntaktemów. Określona forma morfologiczna wyrazu może obejmować różne syntaktemy. Celem artykułu jest analiza konfrontatywna charakterystycznych dla języka rosyjskiego syntaktemów imiennych, wybranych z Sintaksicheskogo slovar’a Galiny Zołotowej, oraz ich odpowiedników w języku polskim. Zdaniem autorki, systematyczna analiza syntaktemów w aspekcie konfrontatywnym daje możliwość sporządzenia wykazu elementarnych jednostek składniowych języka rosyjskiego i polskiego, który może być wykorzystany zarówno w celach glottodydaktycznych, jak i w badaniach lingwistycznych tekstu.
The author of the article grounds her studies on the linguistic theory of syntactemes by Galina Zolotova. Any syntax construction may be studied in an analysis plan, as well as synthesis defined as syntacteme combination. The defined morphological form of expression may consist of various syntactemes. The aim of the article is to confrontatively analyse name syntactemes characteristic for the Russian language chosen from Sintaksicheskij slovar by Galina Zolotova and their equivalents in Polish. According to the author, the systematic analysis of syntactemes in the confrontative approach gives the possibility for the preparation of a scheme of elementary syntactic units of Russian and Polish, which may be used for glottodidactic aims, as well as in linguistic text studies.

Opis:: Demonstrative pronoun in sentences with nominal predicate: predicative or anaphor function?This article deals with a particular type of simple sentences with a complex predicate which includes the demonstrative pronoun Pol. to / Russ. это ‘this.’ The author presents the view, prevailing in the linguistic literature, that in terms of syntactic structure, such units perform the role of the so-called copula. The analysis of linguistic material of modern Russian and Polish (taking into account the category of functional syntax) leads to the conclusion that such instances are in fact cases of subject duplication, which is used to emphasise the subject in spoken language. Zaimek wskazujący w zdaniach z orzeczeniem imiennym: funkcja predykatywna czy anaforyczna?Przedmiotem artykułu jest szczególny typ zdań prostych z orzeczeniem złożonym zawierającym zaimek wskazujący to/это. Autor przedstawia panujący w literaturze lingwistycznej pogląd, że jednostka ta zajmuje w strukturze zdania pozycję tzw. łącznika (copuli). Z analizy materiału językowego współczesnego języka polskiego (przy uwzględnieniu kategorii składni funkcjonalnej) wynika, że w rzeczywistości mamy tu do czynienia z duplikacją podmiotu, która służy do emfatycznego wyodrębnienia tego członu zdania w mowie.

Opis:: The paper is devoted to the role of the mental and emotional predicates and the verbs, which reflect them. The material was excerpted from the female soldiers texts about the Warsaw Uprising 1944 and the memoirs of the women from the Polish noble families. The methodological foundations of current study are the Semantic Syntax Theory (predicate-argument grammar) and the selected issues of the discourse analysis or text analysis. The frequency of the chosen verbs was introduced, as well as the sentences with their syntactic patterns. The most frequent and the most significant verb for the examined texts is the verb pamiętać. The fourth part of the presented paper brings some elements of the discourse and text analysis, such as the grammatical choices and their importance for the texts. Some the compositional concerns were taken under consideration.

Opis:: Artykuł wychodzi swą treścią naprzeciw zagadnieniu związanemu z przepowiadaniem liturgicznym (głoszeniem homilii), opartym na tekstach euchologijnych i konstruowanym na bogactwie ich syntaktyczno-semantycznego znaczenia oraz teologiczno-pragmatycznych treści. Podobnie jak do osiągnięcia zamierzonego celu prowadzi adekwatnie dobrany sposób (metoda) postępowania, tak też do dobrego, czyli teologicznie pogłębionego przygotowania homilii doprowadzić mogą stosowne metody interpretacji tekstów, traktowanych jako inspirujące źródło dla liturgicznego przepowiadania. Zamiarem autora opracowania było zwrócenie uwagi na potrzebę wyjaśniania w homiliach bogactwa treści tekstów euchologijnych (nie tylko tekstów biblijnych, wchodzących w skład czytań mszalnych danej celebracji liturgicznej) oraz na pożytek posługiwania się przy tym metodami interpretacji tekstów literackich, do jakich zaliczają się również teksty poszczególnych modlitw danej Mszy św. Propozycja zawarta w treści artykułu wspomina o metodzie historyczno-krytycznej (umożliwia zapoznanie się z tekstem w kluczu diachronicznym), zapoznaje natomiast dokładniej (poprzez teoretyczny opis i odniesienie do przykładu) z metodą lingwistyczną, w ramach której bada się tekst w kluczy synchronicznym, poddając go analizie syntaktycznej, semantycznej i pragmatycznej. Próba uwrażliwienia na potrzebę pracy nad treścią homilii w oparciu o omówione w artykule metody hermeneutyczne jest tym bardziej na czasie, że w teologii liturgicznej są te metody już obecne od jakiegoś czasu. Warto więc przeszczepiać je również na grunt homiletyczny i posługiwać się nimi przy przygotowywaniu głoszonych podczas liturgii homilii, jako że aspekt teologiczny powinien odgrywać istotne znaczenie w homiletycznym przepowiadaniu.
The article’s contents faces the issue associated with liturgical proclamation (preaching a homily) based on eschatological texts that are constructed on the richness of their syntactic-semantic meaning and theological and pragmatic contents. Just as achieving the desired results requires using the adequately chosen method of proceedings, so too the good, that is, theologically deep preparation of the homily can be achieved by the appropriate method of interpreting texts, treated as an inspirational source for liturgical proclamation. The intent of the study was to draw attention to the need to explain in homilies the wealth of the contents of eschatological texts (not just biblical texts included in the Mass readings in a given liturgical celebration). This is done for the benefit of using the methods of interpreting literary texts, which also includes the texts of the prayers of a particular Mass. The proposal contained in the article mentions the historical-critical method, which makes it possible to read the text according to the diachronic key that accurately acquaints us with the linguistic method (by theoretical description and re-ference to the example). This allows us to examine the text according to synchronous keys, subjecting it to syntactic, semantic and pragmatic analyses. An attempt to be more sensitive to the need to work on the contents of homilies based on the hermeneutic method discussed in the article is all the more timely since liturgical theology methods have already existed for some time. It is also worth using them based on homiletics and in the preparation of the homily to be preached during the liturgy, since the theological aspect should play an important role in homiletic preaching.
