- The article is dedicated to the concept of “superconsciousness” which was for the first time put into the theatre dictionary by Stanislavski. Discussed area of psychical activity of the artist, also called creative intuition, has been deeply analysed by psychophysiologist P. Simonow and P. Jerszow, theatre practitioner and theoretician, and it is the key to understanding of Stanislavski’s “system”. The important aspect in the process of rearing of the actor is skillful incitement of the consciousness and subconsciousness of creative subject in order to awake the sphere of superconsciousness – the essence of creativity.
