    This article analyzes influence of the height of the weld reinforcement on the cost of additional materials in the MAG welding process. For this purpose, a simple calculator was created based on which the welds were calculated in the quality levels B, C and D and the costs of additional materials for butt joints made of low-alloy and high-alloy steel and T-joints made of low-alloy steel. Considerations on this subject were carried out based on the PN-EN ISO 5817 standard defining quality levels according to welding nonconformities. The losses resulting from exceeding a given quality level are presented.
    W artykule dokonano analizy wpływu wysokości nadlewu spoin czołowych i pachwinowych na koszty materiałów dodatkowych w procesie spawania metodą MAG. W tym celu utworzono kalkulator Excel ułatwiający obliczenie mas spoin w poziomach jakości B, C i D oraz porównanie kosztów materiału dodatkowych złączy doczołowych ze stali niskostopowej i wysokostopowej a także złączy teowych ze stali niskostopowej. Rozważania prowadzono w oparciu o wymagania PN-EN ISO 5817 określające poziomy jakości według niezgodności spawalniczych. Przedstawiono straty wynikające z niedotrzymania wymaganego poziomu jakości.

    In this paper TPM and PAMCO coefficients were shortly characterised. On the basis of TPM coefficients its effectiveness was estimated. Thanks to using time and PAMCO coefficients, the utilization of working time machines was researched. Moreover, there a correlation between TPM coefficient and the quality level was examined. A histogram was drawn up in order to illustrate the distribution. The obtained results allowed to evaluate the effectiveness of the machine. The period of research embraced fifty-two weeks (1 year) and the object of the analysis is the injection moulding machine.

    In the manufacturing processes there has long been demanded the increasing requirements for high quality products especially in automotive industry. In order to assure such as high quality standards the production process and further the product quality the organization must have implemented tools enabling to monitor and have the ambition to dwindle variability. The low variability provides better process predictability, standardized quality level, less occurrence of non-conformities; the products reveal better longevity and finally the satisfied customers. The long lasting endeavor for widely recognized parameters with ambition to determine current status of quality parameter has brought indicators in a form of Cp and Cpk into the business. The article deals with theoretical approach of previously mentioned indicators, an observation of critical to quality parameters in production process, definition of resulting problems, and finally the proposal of improvement including its verification

    Opis:
    The article presents the development of e-administration in Poland after joining the European Union and resulting responsibilities. One of the most important elements of the implementation of e-administration in municipal offices was the reduction of visits to the office itself and dealing with official matters via the Internet. In municipal offices, matters must be dealt with by all citizens also by people with disabilities. The second part of the article presents the results of the analysis of how the introduction of e-administration affects the service of the disabled customer on the example of the city of Żywiec.
    W artykule przedstawiono rozwój e-administracji Polsce po wejściu do Unii Europejskiej i wynikające z tego obowiązki. Jednym z ważniejszych elementów wdrażania e-administracji w urzędach miejskich było zmniejszenie wizyt w samym urzędzie i załatwianie spraw urzędowych przez Internet. W urzędach miejskich sprawy muszą załatwiać wszyscy obywatele również osoby niepełnosprawne. W drugiej części artykułu przedstawiono wyniki analizy w jaki sposób wprowadzenie e-administracji wpływa na obsługę klienta niepełnosprawnego na przykładzie miasta Żywiec.

    Opis:
    Purpose: The aim of this paper is to develop a functional model for the synthesis of nanostructures of the given quality level, which will allow to effectively control the process of nanopatterning on the surface of semiconductors with tunable properties. Design/methodology/approach: The paper uses the IDEF0 methodology, which focuses on the functional design of the system under study and describes all the necessary processes with an accuracy sufficient for an unambiguous modelling of the system's activity. Based on this methodology, we have developed a functional model for the synthesis of nanostructures of the given quality level and tested its effectiveness through practice. Findings: The paper introduces a functional model for the synthesis of nanostructures on the surface of the given quality level semiconductors and identifies the main factors affecting the quality of nanostructures as well as the mechanisms for controlling the formation of porous layers with tunable properties. Using the example of etching single-crystal indium phosphide electrochemically in a hydrochloric acid solution, we demonstrate that the application of the suggested model provides a means of forming nanostructures with tunable properties, assessing the quality level of the nanostructures obtained and bringing the parameters in line with the reference indicators at a qualitatively new level. Research limitations/implications: Functional modelling using the IDEF0 methodology is widely used when process control is required. In this study it has been applied to control the synthesis of nanostructures of the given quality level on the surface of semiconductors. However, these studies require continuation, namely, the establishment of correlations between the technological and resource factors of synthesis and the acquired properties of nanostructures. Practical implications: This study has a significant practical effect. Firstly, it shows that functional modelling can reduce the time required to form large batches of the given quality level nanostructures. This has made it possible to substantiate the choice of the initial semiconductor parameters and nanostructure synthesis modes in industrial production from the theoretical and empirical perspective. Secondly, the presented methodology can be applied to control the synthesis of other nanostructures with desired properties and to reduce the expenses required when resources are depleted and the cost of raw materials is high. Originality/value: This paper is the first to apply the IDEF0 methodology to control the given quality nanostructure synthesis. This paper will be of value to engineers who are engaged in the synthesis of nanostructures, to researchers and scientists as well as to students studying nanotechnology.

    The article presents use of the x – R control cards for analysis of failure rate of the hydraulic stand used in mining industry. At the first stage, in order to determine occurrence frequency and reasons of defective parts of the hydraulic stand, an analysis has been made by means of the Pareto-Lorenz diagram – a quality management tool. At the next stage, points requiring corrective actions aiming to defect elimination were indicated by means of the control cards. The corrective actions may include: employee trainings, aiming to skill improvement and strengthening the awareness of continuous professional self-development, introduction of tools which facilitate proper performance of elements, e.g. patterns or templates, introduction of more detailed quality control at each production stage, the element design modification assuming greater size tolerances of the lock which might be compensated at the installation.
    W artykule przedstawiono zastosowanie kart kontrolnych x – R do analizy wadliwości stojaka hydraulicznego stosowanego w przemyśle górniczym. W pierwszym etapie, w celu ustalenia częstości występowania oraz przyczyn wadliwych elementów stojaka hydraulicznego, wykonano analizę za pomocą narzędzia zarządzania jakością – diagramu Pareto-Lorenza. W kolejnym etapie, za pomocą kart kontrolnych, wskazano punkty, w których należy wprowadzić działania korygujące, mające na celu wyeliminowanie wad. Do tych działań zaliczyć można: szkolenia pracowników, których celem będzie udoskonalanie ich umiejętności oraz umacnianie świadomości konieczności ciągłego samodoskonalenia zawodowego, wprowadzenie narzędzi ułatwiających prawidłowe wykonanie elementów, takie jak: wzorniki czy szablony, wprowadzenie bardziej szczegółowej kontroli jakości na każdym etapie produkcji, zmiana projektu elementu, zakładająca większe tolerancje wymiarowe zamka, mogące być skompensowane przy montażu.

    Celem publikacji było określenie głównych czynników mających wpływ na zapewnienie jakości spoin w konstrukcjach stalowych. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na znaczenie niezgodności spawalniczych i karbów w konstrukcjach przenoszących obciążenia statyczne i zmęczeniowe. Przypomniano także podstawy dotyczące wytrzymałości zmęczeniowej spoin oraz podano przykłady typów złączy w klasach FAT. Przeprowadzono analizę wymagań dla niezgodności spawalniczych o poziomach jakości B, C, D, według PN-EN ISO 5817:2014E [4]. Podkreślono brak dbałości CEN w związku z usterkami w treści norm. Nowe techniki NDT zilustrowano przykładem badania zbiorników metodą PA.
    The aim of the publication was to identify the main factors affecting the quality assurance of welds in steel structures. Particular attention was paid to the importance of imperfections and notches in carrying structures static and fatigue. Also recalled the basis for the fatigue strength of welds and provides examples of the types of joints in classes FAT. Conducted analysis of the requirements for imperfections for quality levels, B. C, D according to PN-EN ISO 5817: 2014 [4]. It highlighted the lack of attention to the CEN in connection with failures in the content standards. The new NDT techniques exemplified research tanks using PA.
