    Studie je zaměřena na vzpomínkové knihy Ignáta Herrmanna, zejména na problematiku hranice mezi non-fikčním a fikčním vyprávěním. Herrmann svoje knihy vzpomínek koncipoval jako faktuální vyprávění, nicméně v některých jeho částech lze pozorovat zvláštní narativní techniky, jež fikcionalizují vyprávění. Naším cílem je tyto části detekovat a analyzovat na pozadí nejen ostatního Herrmannova faktuálního vyprávění, ale také ve srovnání s fikčním u Jana Nerudy.
    The paper is focused on the memory books by czech writer Ignát Herrmann, especially on the problem of border between nonfiction and fictional narrative. Herrmann drawn up his memory books as factual narrative, however but in some parts of his texts we can observe interesting narrative techniques, which shifts the narration towards fictionality. Our goal in this study is detected this parts and analysis them on the background not only the others parts, which are represented factual narration, but in compare with fictional narration by Jan Neruda.

    This close-reading analysis and interpretation examines the original form of Woody Allen’s masterpiece Zelig (1983). The author combines a film studies approach with an investigation of epistemological and semiotic reflections on moving images. The author emphasises that more than three decades ago Allen gave to a wide audience a critical, sceptical and ironic vision of the “documentary” (esp. regarding the “truth”) status of moving pictures. This study also introduces also important terminological distinction between “mockumentary” (“fake-documentary”) and a contrasting category, that is, “documentary fiction” (also called “docufiction”), giving an instructive and precise definition of both.

    The article compares two memoirs about family’s histories from 2001: In the Garden of Memory by Joanna Olczak-Ronikier and Mercedes-Benz by Paweł Huelle, in which photographs play an important role: In the Garden of Memory by Joanna Olczak-Ronikier and Mercedes-Benz by Paweł Huelle. While in the former, more old-fashioned family’s biography, the function of photos is to prove the trustworthiness (referentiality) of the narrative, in the latter, which is rather an autofictional novel, reading photos becomes a starting point for blurring non-fiction biography with fictional Dichtung. The aim of the study on Mercedes-Benz’study carried out by the author of this article is to outline the concept of the photography in the first degree. That is also why the mise en abyme and the postmemory are contextually recalled.

    Рассмотрены основные категории нарратологического анализа, такие как точка зрения, факт, событие, нарратив, фабула и сюжет, мотив. Раскрывается связь нарратологических феноменов события и мотива. Показано, что фабула и сюжет являются системно противопостав- ленными аспектами интерпретации нарратива как исходной коммуникативной реальности повествовательного произведения. Проведены необходимые различия между нарратологией и сюжетологией в аспекте предмета исследования.
    The paper discusses the main categories of narratological analysis, such as point of view, fact, event, narrative, plot and story, motif. It is shown that plot and story are opposed aspects of interpretation of a narrative. The necessary distinction between narratology and the theory of plot in terms of research subject is made.

    In this text I have taken up a reflection upon one of the most important works by J.J. Rousseau, “Confessions”. The book is considered to belong to personal literature, so I treated it as an autobiographical narration. In the methodological research I used both the category of a linguistic view of the world and the category of constructing an identity in the linguistic and cognitive analysis. On the one hand Rousseau’s work can be considered as an autobiographical narrative, but on the other hand it can be treated as fiction. And it is the dualism of construction that allows the interpretation of the text in many ways, formal or poetic, as well as referring to the writer’s life. I recommend reading Rousseau’ s biography again in order to see the intersection of history and fictitious reality, to reconstruct the linguistic strategy of giving meaning by J.J. Rousseau in constructing “Confessions” as well as in constructing identity.

    This paper is the analysis of Götz and Meyer (Gec i Majer, 1998) by David Albahari (b. 1948), the writer of Serbian and Jewish origin. His novel belongs to the Holocaust-literature and its metanarrative structure calls into question the problem of transferring radical historic moment into fiction. The article focuses on the interrelations between fiction and fact, imagination and history, as well as the traumatic experience recognized as the opportunity to identify with the experience of Holocaust victims. Albahariʼs novel proves that remembering of dramatic events from the past can be activated both by imagination and traumatic experience.

    Zagłada Żydów zajmuje bardzo ważne miejsce w polskiej literaturze powojennej od czasów drugiej wojny światowej aż do współczesności. Autorzy artykułu koncentrują się przede wszystkim na ważnych debatach dotyczących polsko-żydowskiej przeszłości, zwłaszcza czasów okupacji faszystowskiej. W centrum zainteresowania znajdują się wybrane teksty współczesnej literatury polskiej analizowane w szerokim kontekście historycznym, społeczno-politycznym i kulturowym. Rozważono, w jaki sposób przedstawiciele różnych pokoleń podchodzą do tematyki Żydów w Polsce oraz Zagłady. W analizach skoncentrowano się na trzech znaczących dziełach literackich: Chmurdaliach Joanny Bator (2010), Rozwiązłej Jarosława Kamińskiego (2011) i Nocy żywych Żydów Igora Ostachowicza (2012), które prezentują różne podejścia pisarzy do skomplikowanej polsko-żydowskiej przeszłości oraz ilustrują istotne przesunięcia w sposobie jej opisywania. Zauważono zmianę w podejściu do tabuizowanych tematów warunków życiowych w obozach koncentracyjnych (przestępstwa, przemoc seksualna, prostytucja) oraz traktowaniu żydowskości, która staje się ważnym, lecz nie dominującym motywem literackim. W najnowszej literaturze poszukiwanie korzeni oraz tożsamości żydowskiej na podstawie dokumentów czy zdjęć często skutkuje barwnymi rekonstrukcjami polsko-żydowskich losów.
    The Representation of the Holocaust in Polish literature can be pursued from World War II up to contemporary narratives. The authors of this text concentrate on important debates in Poland concerning first of all the common as well as separate Polish-Jewish past in history, but mainly in times of the German fascist occupation. Following their literary studies they give a brief survey of the mentioned topic, concentrating mainly on three exemplary Polish books: Joanna Bator Chmurdalia (2010), Jarosław Kamiński Rozwiązła (2011), and Igor Ostachowicz Noc żywych Żydów (2012). The literary analysis of these texts is related to Polish history, culture, and politics, concerning first of all crucial changes in the society and culture. The chosen writers and their works demonstrate different approaches to an uncertain, complicated Polish Jewish past. They illustrate important changes in literature towards documentary and fictional narratives. More and more tabooed topics of the extreme living conditions during the Nazi occupation in and outside of the concentration camps are considered – crime, various forms of sexuality and prostitution. Jewish life stories as well as the holocaust turn meanwhile into ‚normal‘ motives in contemporary Polish narratives. Searching for their own roots, identity and family traces on the basis of documents, reports or photos often results in colourful reconstructions of Polish-Jewish fates, a striking tendency not only in contemporary Polish literature.

    Obviously, Vasil Bykov persistently carries out regular „escapes” in the so-called „guerrilla” prose. Haw it can be interpreted, and what aesthetic decisions are arising from consists the central issue of this article. So, the separate ways of narrative techniques of the writer’s story In the fog are considered. The special attention is given to the semantic effect of „stranger” words and system of kontrapunkts. All this is combined in a certain type of management of the artistic text, wich the author proposes to call as a grammar of narrative intrigue.
    Nie ulega wątpliwości, że Wasyl Bykau konsekwentnie ucieka w stronę tzw. prozy partyzanckiej. Z czego to wynika i w jaki sposób wpływa na kształt artystyczny utworu – oto temat artykułu prezentującego, na przykładzie powieści We mgle, wybrane chwyty narracyjne pisarza (semantyczny efekt pustego wyrazu i system kontrapunktów), tworzące de facto nowy typ konstrukcji tekstu artystycznego, określanej przez autora artykułu jako gramatyka intrygi narracyjnej.
    Відавочна, што Васіль Быкаў настойліва ажыццяўляе рэгулярныя “ўцёкі” у т.зв. “партызанскую” прозу. Чым тое можа быць вытлумачана, і якія эстэтычныя рашэнні з таго вынікаюць – цэнтральная праблема дадзенага артыкула. На прыкладзе аповесці “У тумане” разглядаюцца асобныя прыёмы наратыўнай тэхнікі пісьменіка. Найперш, эфект семантычны “чужога” слова і сістэмы контрапунктаў. Усё гэта аб’ядноўваецца у пэўны тып кіравання мастацкім тэкстам, што аўтар артыкула прапануе называць граматыкай наратыўнай інтрыгі.
