Opis:
The present work intends to analyse the MHD Casson nano fluid inside an asymmetric channel. The equations governing the fluid flow admit both Thermophoresis and Brownian motion alongside thermal radiation. We acquired closed form analytical solutions for temperature, axial velocity, nanoparticle concentration and pressure gradient profiles. The ascendency of governing parameters like thermal radiation parameter, thermophoresis, Brownian, Hartmann number and Hall parameter on dimensionless temperature, concentration and pressure gradient profiles have been explained in detailed manner with the aid of plots and table. The prevailed results in this article are verified with prior available literature for specific cases and they are in good agreement.

Opis:
This paper deals with the effects of heat transfer on unsteady MHD boundary layer flow of a chemically reading fluid past a vertical plate in the presence of thermal radiation and viscous dissipation. The governing equations of the problem under investigation are systems of partial differential equations. These equations are namely: continuity equation, linear momentum equation and energy equation. These systems of equations were non-dimentionalized by introducing non-dimensional variables. We resulted to dimensionless systems of partial differential equations. The fluid considered in this paper are optically thick, however we employ the Roseland model. Simulations were done numerically on all controlling parameters and the results generated were displayed in graphs and tables. Results review that thermal Grashof number intensifies the velocity profile and increase in Prandtl number leads to decrease in both the velocity and temperature field. Increasing thermal radiation intensifies the velocity and temperature profile. Thermal radiation speeds up the convection flow and thermal boundary layer of the fluid. Increase in magnetic parameter reduces the velocity profile as a result of the applied transverse magnetic field.

This paper studies, the impacts of heat generation on MHD flow of radiative nanofluid over an exponentially stretching sheet in a porous medium with viscous dissipation are numerically analyzed. Two sorts of nanofluids, generated by solid nanoparticles with water such as alumina-water nanofluid and silver-water nanofluid were investigated. With the use of similarity transformations, to obtain a system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations. The resulting boundary value problem is solved numerically using the Nachtsheim-Swigert shooting technique scheme together with fourth-order Runge-Kutta integration method. Numerical results are obtained for the velocity, temperature distribution and concentration profiles for selected values of the governing physical parameters of combined magnetic interaction and porosity parameter, heat generation parameter, viscous dissipation parameter, thermal radiation parameter, solid volume fraction parameter, chemical reaction parameter and Lewis number are discussed. Quantities of engineering interest such as Skin friction coefficient, Nusselt number, and Sherwood number are also obtained numerically and are tabulated.

A free convection viscous MHD flow over a semi-infinite vertical sheet with convective heat and mass conditions has been considered. The effects of thermal radiation, chemical reaction and Joule heating on flow are also accounted. The governing nonlinear partial differential equations have been transformed into a set of highly non-linear coupled ordinary differential equations (ODEs) using appropriate similarity transformations. Numerical solutions of transformed equations are obtained by employing the 5th order Runge-Kutta Fehlberg technique followed by the shooting technique. The influences of different flow parameters on the momentum, energy and mass field are discussed and shown graphically. Results reveal that temperature and concentration profiles enhance due to increasing heat and mass Biot number parameters.

In this study numerical solutions for magnetohydrodynamic transfer, thermal and mass instability, free convection flow through the plate before Casson fluid, heat dissipation, thermal radiation, heat sink, chemical reaction, tilt angle, and saturated porous medium were described. The effectiveness of this study is to analyze the effect of heat diffusion, Casson fluid, the angle of interest on the flow phenomenon of Cu-nanoparticles in the presence of thermal radiation, heat source/heat sink, destructive reaction, heat transfer and mass transfer in a simple way. The finite difference method was used to solve the governing equations which are the added partial differential equations. The effects of different material parameters on velocity, temperature and concentration profiles are explained using graphs and tables. The results are compared with previously published papers and a very good agreement is found. In the boundary layer region, fluid velocity decreases with the increasing values of magnetic field parameter, heat source/sink, Casson fluid, angle of inclination and thermal radiation parameter for Cu-nanoparticles. Also it is noticed that the solutal boundary layer thickness decreases with an increase in the chemical reaction parameter. It is because chemical molecular diffusivity reduces for higher values of Kr.

This study investigates the unsteady MHD flow of a fourth-grade fluid in a horizontal parallel plates channel. The upper plate is oscillating and moving while the bottom plate is stationary. Solutions for momentum, energy and concentration equations are obtained by the He-Laplace scheme. This method was also used by Idowu and Sani [12] and there is agreement with our results. The effect of various flow parameters controlling the physical situation is discussed with the aid of graphs. Significant results from this study show that velocity and temperature fields increase with the increase in the thermal radiation parameter, while velocity and concentric fields decrease with an increase in the chemical reaction parameter. Furthermore, velocity, temperature and concentric fields decrease with an increase in the suction parameter. It is also interesting to note that when 4S0=, our results will be in complete agreement with Idowu and Sani [12] results. The results of this work are applicable to industrial processes such as polymer extrusion of dye, draining of plastic films etc.

Convective boundary conditions for the flow phenomena are used in the present analysis. The governing equations are reduced to ODEs employing suitable similarity transformations. The problem of MHD free convection flow with a parabolic starting motion of an infinite isothermal vertical plate in the presence of thermal radiation and chemical reaction has been examined in detail in this paper. The fluid considered here is a gray, absorbing emitting radiation but a non-scattering medium. The dimensionless governing coupled linear partial differential equations are solved using the Laplace transform technique. A parametric study is performed to illustrate the influence of the radiation parameter, magnetic parameter, chemical reaction parameter, thermal Grashof number, mass Grashof number, Schmidt number and time on the velocity, temperature, concentration. The results are discussed graphically and qualitatively. The numerical results reveal that the radiation induces a rise in both the velocity and temperature, and a decrease in the concentration. The model finds applications in solar energy collection systems, geophysics and astrophysics, aerospace and also in the design of high temperature chemical process systems.

An investigation of the effects of a chemical reaction and thermal radiation on unsteady MHD free convection heat and mass transfer flow of an electrically conducting, viscous, incompressible fluid past a vertical infinite flat plate embedded in a porous medium is carried out. The flow is induced by a general time-dependent movement of the vertical plate, and the cases of ramped temperature and isothermal plates are studied. This paper studies the effect of magneto hydrodynamics on unsteady free convection between a pair of infinite vertical Couette plates. The temperature of the plates and concentration between the plates vary with time. Convection between the plates is considered in the presence of thermal radiation and chemical reaction. The solution is obtained using perturbation techniques. These techniques are used to transform nonlinear coupled partial differential equations to a system of ordinary differential equations. The resulting equations are solved analytically. The solution is expressed in terms of power series with some small parameter. The effect of various parameters, viz., velocity, temperature and concentration, has been discussed. Mat lab code simulation study is carried out to support the theoretical results. The result shows that as the thermal radiation parameter R increases, the temperature decreases near the moving porous plate while it approaches to a zero in the region close to the boundary layer of the stationary plate. Moreover, as the modified Grashof number, i.e., based on concentration difference, increases, the velocity of the fluid flow increases hence the concentration decreases. An increase in both the chemical reaction parameter and Schmidt number results in decreased concentration.
