Opis:: The present paper will investigate the issues of ICT teacher training in the pre-service context of a five-year M.A. modern philology programme. The consideration of the content of training, mode of delivery, learning activities, teacher’s and learners’ role will be followed by a staged model of distributed ICT training illustrating growing student teacher competence. The lessons learnt from in-service teacher training already conducted will be used to improve the organisation of e-teacher education in the modern philology curriculum.

Opis:: Acquisition of digital skills by faculty members is a significantly important step when it comes to integrating ICT in teaching. In light of that, this study aims to describe and analyse faculty members’ training in ICT in all faculties of education within Spanish public universities. The paper hereby presented describes results from 1,145 professors, obtained by an ad hoc online questionnaire. Both data and results have been obtained from one of the instrument dimensions: received teaching training and professors’ perception of their own training. This instrument consists of 25 items. Results show the need for more profound training regarding the optimisation of ICT didactic and pedagogic potential in class, as well as an integrated approach to pedagogy, digital literacy and knowledge.

Opis:: The aim of the article is to prove that Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) can serve as viable didactic tools in the CBRN troops’ education and training. The analysis of selected case studies reveals that specific competences can be trained with the support of social media, e-learning platforms, virtual worlds, mobile technologies or even augmented reality technologies. The unique qualities of these tools, such as an easy access to the training content, interactivity, or possibility of simulating different scenarios allow for designing a training process tailored both for larger groups and an individual.

Poprawa jakości kształcenia na uczelniach wyższych możliwa jest tylko wtedy, gdy wiemy, jak treści programów nauczania łączyć z rzeczywistą pracą absolwentów studiów technicznych. Badania podjęte w programie KEGA dotyczą zdolności radzenia sobie z wykorzystaniem ICT w praktyce – zarówno w kształceniu nauczycieli, jak również w codziennej pracy szkolnej. W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań przeprowadzonych za pomocą badań kwestionariuszowych.
Improving the quality of education in universities is possible only if we know the contents of educational curricula, which are confronted with a real Graduate. Opis:: Práca opisuje zmeny v príprave učiteľov pre základné školy, ako následok informatizácie školstva a kurikulárnej transformácia štátneho vzdelávacieho programu na Slovensku. Navrhuje jedno možné riešenie na integrovanie nových digitálnych technológií do vyučovania rôznych predmetov a na posilnenie predmetových väzieb medzi informatikou a informatickou a informačnou výchovou a ostatnými predmetmi na základnej škole.
The paper describes the changes in teacher training for primary schools, as a result of informatisation of education and curricular transformation of national educational program in Slovakia. It suggests one possible solution to integrate new digital technologies into the instruction of different subjects and to strengthen the bonds between computer science, informatics-based subjects, and other subjects at primary schools.
