    The pandemic that started in 2020 significantly influenced the situations of students and teachers, who stopped attending regular schools, with all classes happening online. Distant education itself transformed a lot, and the activities performed by teachers in autumn were definitely more advanced than those from the beginnings in spring. Teachers developed their ICT skills, and generally feel more comfortable teaching online. They notice some advantages of more systematic application of ICT and the distant form of education, however there are some drawbacks of it that cannot be easily overcome.
    Rozwój pandemii w roku 2020 znacznie zmienił sytuację nauczycieli i uczniów, którzy przestali uczęszczać do szkół, uczestnicząc w lekcjach prowadzonych zdalnie. Również sama forma edukacji zdalnej przeszła znaczną transformację, a działania realizowanie przez nauczycieli jesienią były zdecydowanie bardziej zaawansowane niż w początkowym etapie wiosną. Nauczyciele rozwinęli swoje umiejętności w zakresie wykorzystania TIK, czując się swobodniej w nauczaniu zdalnym. Nauczyciele wskazują na pewne plusy częstszego wykorzystywania TIK oraz zdalnej formy edukacji, jednakże nie wszystkie z problemów z nią związanych mogą być rozwiązane.

    Opis:
    Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) are indispensable to access the tremendous world of digital knowledge and enable its rapid generation, assimilation, and dissemination. Current tele-information technologies fundamentally influence business relationships and processes; therefore, they are one of the main drivers for social and economic development in the 21st century. Many computer tools are designed to serve in the development of a knowledge-based economy, such as databases, data warehouses, web virtual libraries, and scientific repositories. This paper presents a multidisciplinary computer platform PINF intended for the support of efficient knowledge and innovation transfer into science, industry, and business practice that could be used in organisations of various kinds, such as scientific units, SMEs, or virtual institutions clusters. The paper presents the background and the genesis of scientific and applied research that was undertaken and directed at the development and implementation of an efficient computer tool for knowledge and innovation transfer. Moreover, key issues that influenced the structure of the platform, its multilayer construction, main functional capabilities, applications, and knowledge bases developed for networked collaboration, exchanging ideas, and working on concepts and solutions are also presented in the paper. The author shows potential areas of PINF application in a scientific and commercial activity directed at the development of innovative solutions, their improvement, sale, and servicing.
    Technologie informacyjne i komunikacyjne (ICT Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) są niezbędne w zakresie tworzenia dostępu do wiedzy cyfrowej i umożliwiają jej dynamiczne generowanie, asymilację i dyseminację. Współczesne technologie informatyczne fundamentalnie wpływają na relacje i procesy biznesowe, zatem stanowią jeden z głównych czynników rozwoju społecznego i ekonomicznego XXI wieku. Istnieje wiele narzędzi informatycznych, których głównym celem jest wspomaganie rozwoju gospodarki opartej na wiedzy, takich jak m.in. bazy danych, hurtownie danych, biblioteki wirtualne czy repozytoria naukowe. W artykule przedstawiono multisycyplinarną platformę wspomagającą efektywny transfer wiedzy i innowacji do sektora nauki, przemysłu oraz biznesu. Potencjalne obszary zastosowań Platformy PINF obejmują przede wszystkim różnego rodzaju organizacje takie jak jednostki naukowe, MSP czy klastry wirtualne. W artykule przedstawiono tło i genezę prac badawczych i aplikacyjnych podjętych w celu zaprojektowania i zaimplementowania efektywnego narzędzia informatycznego dedykowanego wspomaganiu transferu wiedzy i innowacji. Ponadto przedstawiono strukturę platformy, jej wielowarstwową konstrukcję, główne możliwości funkcjonalne, udostępniane zasoby informacyjne oraz aplikacyjne, które wspomagają pracę interdyscyplinarnych zespołów badawczych, np. zdalną współpracę grupową, wymianę pomysłów, tworzenie i rozwiązywanie problemów technicznych. W artykule przedstawiono także potencjalne obszary zastosowań platformy PINF zarówno w działalności naukowej, jak i komercyjnej ukierunkowane na opracowanie innowacyjnych rozwiązań, ich modyfikację, sprzedaż i ich serwis posprzedażowy.

    Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, teachers and educators have been forced to introduce digital solutions within a very short time, which influenced the educational perspective significantly, and required adapting to the new conditions, not only in what concerns teaching methods but also in terms of teaching content. Contrary to the commonly held opinion that teaching at tertiary level has not changed considerably, since it concerns adults who are already autonomous, the new teaching challenges have had an impact on tertiary education as well. Moreover, university teachers needed to face this new reality without prior preparation. The aim of this paper is to present the current pandemic-driven situation from the perspective of ESP teachers from various European countries by revealing not only some of the challenges posed by the pandemic, but also certain good practices which may become a guide for other ESP teachers. The methodology applied to inquiring this research question was a qualitative-quantitative online survey distributed among ESP teachers in European countries. The results show that online teaching during the pandemic was challenging for most respondents, at the same time offering them the opportunity to develop professionally by improving their technical skills and learning how to use online platforms, apps and tools.

    The Brazilian educational context has shown a relative emphasis on what official documents foresee with regard to the mere “use” of ICT as opposed to a more critical stance that situates these technologies as cultural instruments with an empowerment dimension. With the purpose of constituting a theoretical and epistemological framework around the relationship between technologies and education, this report presents concepts hitherto shyly presented in Brazil, on the basis of the compilation of studies published in the last five years worldwide.
    Brazylijski kontekst edukacyjny wykazał względny nacisk na to, co przewidują oficjalne dokumenty dotyczące jedynie „wykorzystania” ICT w przeciwieństwie do bardziej krytycznej postawy, która sytuuje te technologie jako instrumenty kulturowe o wymiarze wzmocnienia. W celu stworzenia teoretycznych i epistemologicznych ram dotyczących relacji między technologiami a edukacją niniejszy raport przedstawia koncepcje nieśmiało prezentowane w Brazylii, sformułowane na podstawie kompilacji badań opublikowanych w ciągu ostatnich pięciu lat na całym świecie.

    The aim of the article is to prove that Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) can serve as viable didactic tools in the CBRN troops’ education and training. The analysis of selected case studies reveals that specific competences can be trained with the support of social media, e-learning platforms, virtual worlds, mobile technologies or even augmented reality technologies. The unique qualities of these tools, such as an easy access to the training content, interactivity, or possibility of simulating different scenarios allow for designing a training process tailored both for larger groups and an individual.
