The article is a discussion of the results of the survey related to the issues shaping the views and opinions of young people on the city as a tourist product. In studies related to changes taking place in an urban setting in which we operate, and in the design of cities, there are new categories of perception cities - new features towns, known in the literature as a revolt cities. We study the perception of cities in terms of tourist appeal and in terms of the tourism product. We also examine the creative perception of cities with regard to new trends shaping urban spaces, such as urban games or urban legends. For the analysis of results of research we use multivariate methods.

The purpose of this article is to examine whether employers employing employees comply with the provisions of the labor law. This study was carried out with the help of questionnaires survey, which asked employees to fill learners of extramural students. This paper presents the results of a survey conducted in April 2011, the study involved 235 people working, who are students of Higher School of Economics and Administration in Bytom. Respondents answered 30 questions concerning, among others. forms of employment, payment of wages, overtime, terms of periodic medical examinations, training in the field of occupational health and safety, working conditions and satisfaction with the salary received.

The aim of the study was to investigate the perception of online questionnaires(CAWI) as data collection tool in groups of users and potential users of this technique - marketing professionals. The study has been conducted on a sample of CAWI n = 198 persons, including 50 CAWI users at work and 148 non-users. There were mainly answers to open-ended questions analyzed, including word association test. The two groups did not differ substantially in their overall opinions. CAWI nonusers have more negative attitudes toward this research technique resulting from contact with the surveys as respondents. The users group sees both advantages and disadvantages of using CAWI in marketing research resulting from personal experiences from research process and results usage.

Celem artykułu jest analiza porównawcza pomostowego kapitału społecznego, oparta na wybranych wynikach badań ankietowych polskich i hiszpańskich studentów. Badania ankietowe przeprowadzono wśród studentów pierwszego roku studiów na przełomie października i listopada 2013 r., gdy zaczynali oni swoją edukację na poziomie akademickim. Dokonana w artykule kwantyfikacja pomostowego kapitału respondentów została oparta na definicyjnym ujęciu Putnama i operacjonalizacyjnym ujęciu kapitału społecznego, przedstawionym przez W. van Oorschota, W. Artsa i J. Gelissena. Wyniki badań i wnioski sformułowane na ich podstawie sugerują, że poziom pomostowego kapitału społecznego w ankietowanych grupach osób jest stosunkowo niski.
The aim of this article is a comparative analysis of bridging social capital based on the results of surveys of selected Polish and Spanish students. A survey carried out among first-year students in late October and early November 2013, when they began their university education. Effected in the article quantification of bridging capital of respondents is based on the Putnam's definitional approach and the model approach as formulated by W. van Oorschot, W. Arts and J. Gelissen. The results and conclusions drawn on their basis suggests that the level of the bridging social capital among the surveyed group of people is relatively low.

Furniture sector is one of the five basic branch of woodworking industry. For many years, it has been one of the most dynamically developing branches of Polish economy, making it an important component of the country's economy. Production of furniture includes a wide variety of processes. Among the most important are: conservation of wood, sawing, drying and seasoning, production of laminate flooring, mechanical machining, grinding, bleaching, dyeing, polishing, sandblasting, painting, assembling and finishing. Typically, these processes take place in more than one plant. At each stage of production, the employees, are exposed to hazardous, nuisance or malicious agents to a greater or lesser extent. According to CSO data from 2012, every fifth worker of the furniture industry is working in the hazardous conditions. Generally, the employees are exposed to: - noise (present in about 97% of plants), - dust (present in about 93% plants), - chemical agents (present in about t 60%-70% plants), - mechanical vibration (present in about 10% plants), - improper lighting of the work place (present in about 5% plants). The aim of the study is to characterize the quality of working conditions in the furniture industry in the region of Opole Silesia based on twice conducted surveys. Furthermore, it has been demonstrated that, despite the development of science, technological and organizational progress, both the first survey and the second, shows that there were factors which deteriorate quality of working conditions, as well as inconsistency with compulsory standards, which is reflected in the high level of threats and a large number of accidents at work, that undermine human capital responsible for the competitiveness of enterprises nowadays.

Wiosną 2009 roku przeprowadzono anonimowe badania ankietowe wśród polskich bibliotekarzy i studentów bibliotekoznawstwa. Celem badań było poznanie opinii na temat zawodu bibliotekarza, jego miejsca na rynku pracy i oczekiwań pracowników i przyszłych bibliotekarzy związanych z wynagrodzeniem za pracę. W badaniach uczestniczyło ponad 1000 osób, w różnym wieku, ze wszystkich niemalże regionów Polski. Duża liczba odpowiedzi na pytania półotwarte umożliwiła dokładniejsze zrozumienie odczuć i intencji respondentów.
In spring 2009, a series of anonymous questionnaire surveys were carried out among Polish librarians and students of library science. The aim of the survey was to find out the current state of general attitudes towards the profession of the librarian, its position on the labour market and the expectations of the group of professional workers concerning the patterns of work remuneration. The survey included a group of over 1,000 people of different age from almost all regions of Poland. A great number of answers to the half-open questions made it possible to better understand the feelings and intentions of the respondents.

W pracy na podstawie znanego twierdzenia centralnego Lapunowa jest wyprowadzany rozkład graniczny prawdopodobieństwa znanej statystyki Horvitza-Thompsona (HT). Okazało się, że jeśli określane przez plan losowania Poissona prawdopodobieństwa wylosowania do próby poszczególnych elementów populacji spełniają pewne założenia oraz rozmiar populacji rośnie nieograniczenie, to rozkład standardowej postaci statystyki HT zmierza do rozkładu normalnego standardowego. Taki sam wynik otrzymano przy dodatkowym założeniu narzuconym na prawdopodobieństwa wylosowania elementów populacji do próby, gdy w standardowej postaci statystyki HT jej odchylenie standardowe zastąpimy przez pierwiastek z nieobciążonego estymatora tej wariancji. Rezultaty pracy znajdują zastosowania np. w pewnych typach badań ankietowych, a w szczególności internetowych, wykorzystujących wnioskowanie statystyczne, czyli estymację przedziałową lub testowanie hipotez statystycznych.

The research of the relation between the disabled tourists and the ones with no diabilities provides many interesting observations. For a tourist there is no problem with the presence of the handicapped tourists. The poll shows that the tourist have friendly attitude and are willing to help the disabled people. It even occurs that special offers for the handicapped do not increase their integration. The biggest problem are of course architectural and technical obstacles. The positive experience presented in this survey gives us hope for further development of society's acceptance of the disabled. Tourism will be more available for them. It is a very important task for the pedagogy of physical culture.

Healthcare is very important in everyone's life. In Poland the healthcare system is hotly debated, both in public and private discussions. Many are very critical of its present state and performance. The purpose of this study was to develop a model of evaluation of the patients' satisfaction from the quality and accessibility of medical services performed by family doctors in the Lublin and Sub-Carpathian Voivodeships in the context of alleviating disparities in the quality of delivered services. The study was carried out with the use of originally developed research tool, a dedicated questionnaire form.

According to discounted utility theory, which is considered normative theory of intertemporal choice, every amount of money or other asset discounted in the same circumstances should be discounted with the same discount rate. A lot of scientists claim that in reality subjective discount rates are not constant in constant circumstances. Magnitude effect, quite often described, may cause that bigger amounts are discounted less steeply than smaller ones. In this article results of previous research are described and compared to the results obtained by the author.

Celem artykułu jest zaprezentowanie aktywności seniorów w zakresie użyteczności nowych technologii, zwłaszcza internetu. Jego realizacji posłużyła kwerenda literatury przedmiotu oraz analiza danych empirycznych pozyskanych z badania własnego, przeprowadzonego wśród słuchaczy Uniwersytetu Trzeciego Wieku w Nowym Sączu w 2015 r. W rezultacie stwierdza się, że badani seniorzy aktywnie uczestniczą w życiu wirtualnym. W internecie najczęściej korzystają z poczty elektronicznej, a spośród zmiennych demograficzno-społecznych, to poziom wykształcenia różnicuje najwięcej form ich aktywności internetowych.
The purpose of this article is to present the activity of seniors related to the usability of new technologies, particularly the Internet. Literature review and the analysis of the empirical data obtained from the author’s research carried out amongst the students of the University of the Third Age in Nowy Sącz in 2015 helped to achieve it. As a result it should be stated that the seniors under study actively participate in the virtual existence. They mainly use the Internet to use the electronic mail, and amongst the demographic and social variables it is the level of education that differentiates most of their internet activity forms.

Przedmiotem niniejszego opracowania jest przedstawienie kwestii ochrony najsłabszych uczestników e-bankowości - konsumentów. W tej dziedzinie często istnieje konflikt interesów między uczestnikami, tj. użytkownikami, wydawcami i akceptantami instrumentów elektronicznych. Artykuł powstał w wyniku analizy ankiety przeprowadzonej w 2013 r. Ma na celu ukazanie na podstawie badania ankietowego poziomu ochrony oraz świadomości konsumenta bankowości elektronicznej. Weryfikuje również hipotezę, że rodzaj grupy społecznej ma wpływ na bezpieczeństwo e-bankowości.
The subject of this paper is to present the issue of the protection of the weakest participants in e-banking - consumers. In this area, there is often a conflict of interest between participants, i.e. users, publishers, merchants and electronic instruments. The work is the result of an analysis of a survey conducted in 2013. The work aims to show, on the basis of a survey, the level of protection and consumer awareness of electronic banking. The work also reviews the hypothesis that the type of social group has an impact on the security of e-banking.

Jednym z problemów współczesnej edukacji jest poszukiwanie nowych rozwiązań w celu zwiększenia jej skuteczności. Odnotowano szereg nowych rozwiązań o bardzo zróżnicowanym charakterze, takich jak: koncepcja narodowych strategii ds. edukacji finansowych, do której wezwała w 2003 r. OECD, koordynacja i integracja działań w procesie edukacyjnym, innowacyjne programy i projekty edukacyjne, koncepcja nauki przez całe życie czy też nowe kanały dystrybucji treści edukacyjnych, takie jak np. e-learning. W artykule szczególną uwagę poświęcono wykorzystaniu Internetu w procesie kształcenia. Poza rozważaniami teoretycznymi, wskazującymi na zasadność podjętej tematyki, przeprowadzono, dla potrzeb niniejszego artykułu, badanie ankietowe.
One of the problem of the contemporary education is the searching of new innovative solutions, that may increase the effectiveness of the education, including the financial education. There are a number of very different solutions, such the OECD concept of national strategies for financial education, co-ordination and integration of activities in the educational process, innovative education programs and projects, the concept of lifelong learning as well as the new channels distribution of educational content, such as e-learning. The paper pays particular attention to the using the Internet in the educational process. In addition to theoretical considerations, indicating the validity of the subject matter, was conducted the research aimed in the verification of the possibilities of using e-learning in financial education.
