    The presented study aimed at diagnosing the current situation of rural youth life orientations. The theoretical perspective, which I adopted for interpretation of the examined phenomena, is an emancipative education theory. The picture of life orientations presented by rural youth is not satisfactory. The prevailing form of preservative orientations (in particular a conformable orientation) among substantial group of the examined middle school students entitles us to state that there are many mechanisms and factors which are of importance for the quality of distinguished life orientations. This is a fact that brings worry from the point of view of the present situation, in which the prevailing part of rural inhabitants is. Inability to achieve emancipation by a decidedly larger part of rural youth generates a risk of expanding marginalization of that social group. This youth do not have a chance for changing their difficult situation just at the starting point into adult life, mostly due to the preservative orientation they represent.

    The following article comprises the description of methodology and the presentation of the results of individual research. The aim of the realised project was recognising and characterising the educational orientations of pedagogy students. The author used the Polish adapted version of W.F. O’Neill’s questionnaire on ideological orientations to survey the educational orientations of students. The questionnaire estimates six detailed educational ideologies. This article presents the results of a survey concluded on a group of 506 students of the Maria Grzegorzewska University in Warsaw. Among students the choice of liberal educational ideology is predominant. The number of followers of radical right-wing educational ideologies is marginal.

    The authors present the results of empirical research that tested a hypothesis concerning the relationship between ethical orientations and teachers’ educational strategies. The study was planned as a quantitative strategy as theoretical-verified, in a quasi-experimental scheme with random sampling. Data was gathered with the help of tests, and the hypotheses were verified using two-way ANOVA.

    The article provides an empirical analysis of a relationship between ethical orientations and educational self-efficacy. Ethical orientations are defined in the theoretical system of K. Gilligan, whereas self-efficacy is viewed through the social-cognitive theory. The results of the analysis of variance demonstrate the existence of statistically significant differences in self-efficacy between teachers who prefer the ethics of justice and those who prefer the ethics of care, in favour of the former. However, the Eta coefficient shows that the relationship strength is not very large. In conclusion of the result interpretation we explain what our research explicates and what lies beyond its capacity.

    The aim of the article is to indicate the need to develop the culture of creativity in schools in order to enable the participants of educational dialogue to fulfil their personal creativity that will help them reach their potential and improve the common good in their community. The article defines the culture of creativity, describes creativity as a personal quality and indicates its importance in the functioning of students and teachers, as well as in the work of school as an organisation. Emphasis is placed on the need to personalise the processes of education, i.e., to accept the innate abilities, creative potential and multiple intelligences of learners, and to enable them to pursue their interests and develop their strengths. The article indicates the need for creating the environment which supports learners’ natural ability to learn and building learning power, which is based on the notion of helping young people to become better learners, cultivating attitudes that enable them to cope with difficulties calmly, confidently and creatively, as well as helping them to build up the mental, emotional, social and strategic resources. Furthermore, the article presents the assumptions of everyday creativity theory, which constitute the fundament of author’s creative life orientations concept. The importance of creative life orientations of teachers and students is shown as necessary for building the culture of creativity in school. The range, character and generalised results of the study on preferences for creative life orientations among teachers are briefly presented, indicating a low level of acceptance for this type of orientation and the dominance of preference for conservative and ambivalent orientations. The role of the teacher’s pedagogical creativity is emphasised as necessary for creating conditions for learner’s creativity and building the culture of creativity in school. Additionally, the article puts emphasis on the need for social acceptance for everyday creativity and acknowledging personal creativity as a value, appreciating it in public sphere, demonstrating its emancipatory value and emphasising its axiological dimension.

    In this article the authors considered problems of the realization of youth policy in the Republic of Kazakhstan. There are some factors which objectively complicate the realization of youth policy in Kazakhstan: the lack of social-political ideology which could be able to play the part similar to the role of communist ideology in the USSR or liberal-democratic one in the USA, the domination of ethnic identity over the civil one; the system of values, which unites community, must not only be a subject for general consensus in the society but gather the youth together emotionally, appealing to an irrational beginning in individual and massive psychology; the problem of social growth of the youth. Mostly, the youth in Kazakhstan can be divided into two groups: socially safe and socially unsafe. In the article analysis methods and content analysis were used as well as the results of sociologic researches.
    W niniejszym artykule autorzy omawiają problemy realizacji polityki młodzieżowej w Republice Kazachstan. Głównymi czynnikami utrudniającymi realizację kazachskiej polityki młodzieżowej są: brak społeczno-politycznej ideologii, która mogłaby odgrywać podobną rolę co w swoim czasie ideologia komunistyczna w Związku Radzieckim lub liberalna demokracja w Stanach Zjednoczonych, oraz prymat tożsamości etnicznej i niska rola tożsamości obywatelskiej. System wartości tworzący wspólnotę nie jest wyłącznie kwestią społecznego konsensusu, ale powinien również emocjonalnie spajać młodzież, apelując także do irracjonalnej podstawy indywidualnej i masowej psychologii. Zasadniczo kazachską młodzież można stratyfikować na zamożnych i potrzebujących wsparcia socjalnego. W niniejszym artykule wykorzystano metodę analizy zawartości, zastosowane są również wyniki badań socjologicznych.

    The theoretical and methodological framework of the undertaken issue is indicated by basic notional categories - culture, value and valuing orientations. While analyzing the philosophical and educational context, assumptions of social and cultural anthropology were applied (with a special focus on its anthropocentric-cultural current), (phenomenologically orientated) axiology and cognitive psychology (with the use of its cognitive-developmental theories). Assumption was also made concerning the exploration of youth’s image of the axiological world and the valuing orientations manifested by them, that make it possible to learn the way(s) rooted in culture and experience, in which learners understand themselves, Others and the world.

    W artykule przedstawiono skrótowo podstawowe założenia autorskiej koncepcji twórczych orientacji życiowych. Wyeksponowano znaczenie holistycznej koncepcji edukacji międzykulturowej we współczesnym świecie. Opisano założenia metodologiczne własnych badań jakościowych oraz ich wyniki. Materiał empiryczny z badań terenowych przedstawiono w formie opisu jakościowego oraz matrycy i sieci, zgodnie z koncepcją analizy danych Milesa i Hubermana. Wskazano na otwartą postawę badanych nauczycielek wobec odmienności kulturowej, podejmowanie różnych działań edukacyjnych na rzecz integracji i budowania wspólnoty. Podkreślono funkcję inspirującą opisanych doświadczeń badanych nauczycielek, za szczególnie cenne uznano angażowanie do wspólnych przedsięwzięć nie tylko uczniów, ale i rodziców, które służy realizacji idei partnerstwa edukacyjnego.
    The purpose of this article is to analyze the experience of early school education teachers in implementing intercultural education at school. We are interested here in a special group, the teachers who in previous research declared acceptance of creative life orientation and demonstrated creative pedagogical activities in their daily work at school. The article briefly presents the basic assumptions of the author’s concept of creative life orientations. The importance of the holistic concept of intercultural education in the modern world has been highlighted. Methodological assumptions of qualitative research and its results were described. Empirical material from field research was presented in the form of qualitative description as well as a matrix and network, in accordance with the concept of analysis of Miles and Huberman data. The open attitude of the surveyed teachers towards cultural diversity, undertaking various educational 154 KOMUNIKATY Z BADAŃ activities for the integration and building of the community were pointed out. The inspiring function of the described experiences of the studied teachers was emphasized, the involvement of not only students but also parents, which serves the implementation of the idea of educational partnership, was considered particularly valuable.
