This article presents a lecturer office in the Higher Theological Seminary from the canon law perspective. First we present a need for a lecturer office in the Higher Theological Seminary. Then we listed the qualifications for a seminary professor and the issue of formation of seminary teachers. The final part concerns the tasks of teachers in the Higher Theological Seminary.

Opis:
The article is about issues related to the conditions of admitting candidates to seminaries in the period of the Second Polish Republic. The issues were presented on the example of the Higher Theological Seminary in Płock. This article was divided into thematic sections, starting with the discussion of the institutional outline and formal preparation of candidates for the priesthood. This section refers to the decisions of the Council of Trent. Next section of this article concerns the general admission conditions for candidates to universities in the Second Polish Republic. The article also draws attention to important role of the preparation for priestly, in the light of the rules the Code of Canon Law of 1917. The following subsections of the dissertation refer directly to issues related to the organization and functioning of the Higer Theological Seminary in Płock. At this point, Author presented path of Theological Seminary in Płock to become a higher education institution. The article ends with a summary, which concludes that the theological seminaries in the Second Polish Republic, although they didn’t fit into the framework of „secular” education, presented a significant scientific and didactic level.

Après le tournant politique de 1989, on voit mûrir en Pologne le postulat d`élaborer, d`une manière globale, la pédagogie des mass-media. À l`époque du totalitarisme communiste une telle entreprise était impossible. L`auteur, basant sur les textes ecclésiastques, montre que, dans le cadre des études dau séminaire, les cours qui portent sur les mass-media devraient avoir un aspect pédagogique. C`est le cas du Grand Séminaire de £ódŸ où, depuis 1975, on donne de telles conférences. On rédige également des mémoires de maîtrise consacrés à ce domaine. L’article contient la liste de principaux groupes de questions étudiées dans le cadre des cours de la pédagogie des mass-media.

Poland has experienced two cruel systems. One of them was fascism, symbolized by the German Nazi concentration camps at Auschwitz-Birkenau. The second one was Stalinism, Katyn will remain its symbol forever. For over 50 years, no other issue in Polish-Soviet relations was as concealed as the Katyn massacre. In this essay, I will talk about the genocide in 1940 on 22,000 Poles (soldiers and civilians), investigations in this matter, and the fight for the truth. Everyone knew that any public statement about this crime could have significant consequences, such as dismissal from work or school expulsion. The Katyn genocide was a war crime that was first concealed and then distorted for the longest time. It can be said that it was a crime against the Polish nation.For many years, the press, radio, and television did not talk about it. On April 13, 2020, Polish people celebrated the Katyn Massacre Remembrance Day. In the spring of the year 1940, during two months in and around Katyn (currently in Russia), executioners from the NKVD, ordered by the Soviet authorities, murdered 21,857 prisoners of war with a shot in the back of the head. NKVD-People’s Commissariat for Internal Affairs was the interior ministry of the Soviet Union. This enormously evil deed of the Bolsheviks is called the Golgotha of the East. Golgotha is a place near Jerusalem where convicts were executed. Christians believe that Jesus Christ was crucified in this place. Similarly, innocent Polish officers were killed at this place of execution. The name of the crime comes from the village of Katyń near Smolensk, where victims were murdered and buried.

The study presents the provisions concerning a diocesan bishop`s right to impose a tax for the needs of the diocese and Seminary. Next, the author highlighted the issues in regards to which the interpretation of rules does not provide explicit resolutions and referred to the instances of applying the right to impose taxes in some cases in the Church in Poland.

W 2020 r., w Krakowie nakładem Wydawnictwa „Biały Kruk”, ukazała się książka ks. prof. Waldemara Chrostowskiego, Dekalog. Składa się ona z trzynastu rozdziałów. Otwiera ją część zatytułowana Dziesięć prostych słów, od których zależy przyszłość człowieka i społeczeństw (s. 7–30). Tytuły zaś następnych jedenastu części (od drugiej do dwunastej), zawdzięczają swoje brzmienie: albo treści preambuły do Dekalogu (druga część, s. 31–48), albo – poszczególnych przykazań (trzecia – dwunasta część, s. 49–253). Natomiast ostatniej odsłonie książki Autor nadał tytuł Najgorsza nędza to brak Boga. Posłowie (s. 254–255).

The Aramaic Bible is a large-scale academic project to translate the Aramaic targums to the Pentateuch (gr. πεντάτευχος) into Polish. The originator and initiator of this undertaking is the head of the Biblical Sciences Section of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, Father Prof. Miroslaw Stanislaw Wróbel together with the academic staff of the section. The first part of the project will cover three Aramaic targums to the Pentateuch of the Hebrew Bible – Targum Neofiti 1 (1–5), Targum Pseudo-Jonatanus (6–10) and Targum Onkelos (11–15). A total of 15 volumes will be published, plus one introductory volume on targumic topics.
