    This study examined the differences and relationships between reported incidents of cybercrime and physical crime within U.S. society nationally. The examined period encompassed the years between 2001 and 2020. The study outcomes showed that a relationship existed between reported incidents of cybercrime and reported incidents of physical crime (p = 0.00; α = 0.05). More specifically, it appeared that relationships existed between the reported incidents of cybercrime and the reported incidents of physical crimes representing robbery rate (p = 0.01; α = 0.05), burglary rate (p = 0.00; α = 0.05), and larceny theft rate (p = 0.00; α = 0.05). It also appeared that a difference (p = 0.00; α = 0.05) existed between reported incidents of cybercrime and physical crime, wherein greater quantities of physical crime were exhibited societally during the examined period.

    Wildlife traffickindg of endangered species is an international crime that is increasing in in terms of its significance and position in the global crime hierarchy. This phenomenon is a significant subject of research for both traditional and green criminology. The representatives of green criminology, when discussing the criminal policy in matters related to green crimes, refer to its broad meaning. From this perspective, “green criminal policy” includes: a) the legal and social approach, b) a regulatory system that emphasizes social arrangements, norms and reforms in the production and consumption system; and c) a system of social interactions. Each of these models is presented in the article. In this context, the results of qualitative research on the state of the social control of illegal trade in wild fauna and flora in Poland will also be cited.

    The Act on Counteracting the Threat of Sexual Offe ces was enacted on 13 May 2016. One of the solutions it has introduced is a map of the threats of sexual offences. While the construction of this kind of tool for analysing the dimension and the phenomenology of crime does not raise any criticism from the point of view of the science of criminology, the implementation of this solution in Poland does not seem adequate for the intended purpose. This article assesses the Polish solutions regarding the drawing of a map of the threats of sexual offenses in the context of the acquis and the current findings of environmental criminology, including in particular crime prevention through environmental design and the shaping of situational crime prevention.
    Ustawa o przeciwdziałaniu zagrożeniom przestępczością na tle seksualnym została uchwalona 13 maja 2016 r. Przewidziane w jej przepisach instytucje i instrumenty prawne mają przeciwdziałać przestępczości seksualnej. Jednym z wprowadzanych rozwiązań jest mapa zagrożeń przestępstwami na tle seksualnym. O ile sama konstrukcja tego rodzaju narzędzia analizy rozmiarów i fenomenologii przestępczości nie budzi zastrzeżeń z punktu widzenia nauki kryminologii, o tyle wydaje się, że to rozwiązanie w polskim wydaniu jest nieadekwatne do realizacji zamierzonego celu. Artykuł poświęcony jest ocenie polskich rozwiązań w zakresie konstruowania mapy zagrożeń przestępstwami na tle seksualnym w kontekście dorobku i dotychczasowych ustaleń kryminologii środowiskowej, w tym w szczególności nurtu zapobiegania przestępczości przez kształtowanie bezpiecznej przestrzeni oraz sytuacyjnej prewencji przestępczości.

    Artykuł jest poświęcony instytucji deportacji, głównie we francuskim systemie prawnym i rzeczywistości politycznej doby monarchii absolutnej. Deportacja nie jest pojęciem jednoznacznym. Nie jest też jednolicie definiowaną instytucją prawną. Zarówno jej obecność i uzasadnienie, jak i kształt materialnoprawny oraz jego proceduralna oprawa są wypadkową wielu czynników i okoliczności, które determinują zwłaszcza tradycja, mentalność, system polityczny, a także warunki geograficzne, związane z terytorialną strukturą państwa. Instytucja ta nie była oryginalną konstrukcją prawa francuskiego, choć na przestrzeni wieków, w szczególnych okolicznościach politycznych burzliwych dziejów francuskiej państwowości, nabierała specyficznych cech. Komparatystyczna metoda eksploracji i kilkusetletnia perspektywa temporalna umożliwiły obserwację ewolucji tej instytucji prawnej oraz ocenę jej w formie wniosków de lege lata i de lege ferenda.
    The article is devoted to the institution of deportation mainly in the French legal system and in the political reality of the absolute monarchy period. Deportation is by no means an unambiguous concept. It is also not a uniformly defined legal institution. Its presence and justification, its substantive and legal shape as well as its procedural setting were a result of numerous factors and circumstances which were determined in particular by tradition, mentality, political system as well as by geographical conditions, which were connected with the territorial structure of the state. This institution was not an original construct of French law. However, over the centuries, it took on specific features in the particular political circumstances of the turbulent history of French statehood. The comparative method of exploration and the centuries-old temporal perspective made it possible to observe the evolution of this legal institution as well as to evaluate it in the form of de lege lata and de lege ferenda conclusions.
