    The Metamorphosis is one of the greatest novels written by Franz Kafka in 1915, which depicts the surreal and absurd transformation of Gregor Samsa into a beetle. Existentialism is borrowed to help interpret the implications of Gregor's transformation. After the transformation, Gregor lives in hatred, dread, absurdity, hopelessness, helplessness and despair. He is isolated, estranged, alienated by his family and the society. Centering on Gregor's transformation, this paper discovers that the authentic existing situation of the underprivileged is entirely revealed in this novella; the pathetic dark side of the human existence is vividly depicted and presented via transformation by Franz Kafka, who meanwhile deeply explores the negative sensations of human existence.

    In 2020 and 2021, the entire evolution of human society is under the sign of a paradox, of the adversity of events, coming in avalanche. The tourist evolutions themselves suffer the imprint of the paradox. These paradoxes urgently require new paradigms, the famous ‘paradigm shifts’, mentality, optics, action. The purpose of this research is to outline the main aspects of the research problem and diagnose the situation, with focus on identifying hypotheses for future descriptive or causal research as well as to explore the reasons, attitudes and values of the paradigm and paradox, which differentiate the two notions approached: testing new concepts of forecasting, a product specific to the destination under analysis and in identifying other viable, sustainable alternatives and their analysis in parallel with modelling and promoting new ideas of tourism products or services, respectively improving the existing ones. This article aims to capitalise on the paradox, already successfully applied in economics by the author of the method and in shaping and delimiting ecotourism (in particular the ecotourism from the destination Țara Hațegului – Retezat), emphasising the role of self-contradiction of the field, through a specific type of economic reasoning, in which the rapid evolution of tourism risks are becoming its own cause of its disappearance, knowing that too much tourism kills tourism. Responsibility and the mesological spirit are the only ways to counteract the paradox phenomenon, even a paradigm in the metamorphosis of ecotourism.

    In the studies on poetry by Joan Brossa, his literary inspirations from the French tradition are indicated, but his connection with Spanish-language literature is almost nonexistent. The purpose of this article is to present Brossa’s testimonies about his Federico García Lorca readings and to compare his “Sonet del pur estrèpit” (1949) with Lorca’s “Muerte” (1931). Both poems show textual and conceptual similarities and share the theme of metamorphosis, so we propose their analysis to look for possible inspirations in different philosophical and aesthetic traditions (surrealism, Ovid, Darwin, Zen Buddhism).

    The article is devoted to the reconstruction of Cinderella myth in contemporary culture in the relation to the changing concepts of femininity. The Author takes into account several contexts of this issue. First, it can be understood in the terms of life as a lottery thanks to which in one moment a person is famous or rich (e.g. thanks to television success). Also, the author analyses the Cinderella in a light of sociological theory of competitive mobility. Besides sociotherapeutic Cinderella complex is analysed as well as feminist interpretation of Cinderella are reconstructed. The different versions of Cinderella fable are confronted with the various kinds of relations between women and men in contemporary. The Author shows also the examples of using the Cinderella myth in commercial advertising as well as politics and economy (Cinderella industry).

    The author of the essay titled «The Cinematographic Representation of Social Frames» analyzes images in the context of representing physical and ontological aspects of reality. He considers Albanian Communist Cinema (1952–1991) taking into consideration the viewer’s perspective in which cinema is treated as a metaphorical place when people learn to read images and can think through images. The author also focuses on following issues: processes of individualization, representation and the problematisation of subjectivity.

    The main intention of my text is to describe the specific of the somatic turn of cultural studies and, to follow Chris Barker’s proposition, “the desire to understand the ways in which the body becomes the object of shaping and disciplining by social and cultural forces – i.e. how the body acquires meaning in contemporary culture”. The above problem provokes the consideration of the mutual relationships between the culture of late modernity and the category of identity (especially the body in the process of identity construction). The goal outlined in this way aims to present contexts and space for the manifestation of the issues of the body in contemporary culture, The aim of the proposed deliberations is to present the problem of the body from the perspective of reflexive identity (A. Giddens), constructivism perspective (Z. Melosik, A. Gromkowska, M. Bogunia-Borowska), in selected therapeutic systems (J. Kabat-Zinn, A. Lowen, S.&C. Block) and in the final section I present the category of the body in the integral approach to development (K. Wilber). Also, I shortly summarize my analysis and I point to the dangers of the presented approaches especially in the dominant instant culture practices.

    Głównym celem artykułu jest analiza współczesnych metamorfoz chrześcijaństwa w wymiarze globalnym. Wydaje się, że największą rolę w procesie głębokich zmian, zachodzących dzisiaj w obrębie religii chrześcijańskiej, odgrywa pięć następujących zjawisk: sekularyzacja, desekularyzacja, protestantyzacja, pentekostalizacja i decentralizacja. W ostatnich latach załamał się paradygmat sekularyzacji. Wielu naukowców mówi dzisiaj o desekularyzacji i powrocie religii w zmienionej formie. Najgłębsze znaczenie sekularyzacji dotyczy nie tyle problemu obecności religii w domenie publicznej, ile reinterpretacji prawd i symboli religijnych. Wielkim wyzwaniem jest dzisiaj proces pentekostalizacji chrześcijaństwa, który oznacza niezwykle szybki wzrost liczebny różnego rodzaju wspólnot stricte zielonoświątkowych oraz proces stopniowego przekształcania wielu innych chrześcijańskich Kościołów i związków wyznaniowych w jedną uniwersalną odmianę chrześcijaństwa charyzmatycznego w wymiarze planetarnym.
    The main aim of this article is to analyze the contemporary metamorphosis of global Christianity. It seems that today the most important are the five following phenomena: secularization, desecularization, protestantization, pentecostalization and decentralization. In recent years there has been a breakdown of the paradigm of secularization. Many scientists today talk about desecularization and return of religion in a modified form. The deepest meaning of secularization is not a problem of the presence of religion in the public domain, but the question of the reinterpretation of religious truths and symbols. The great challenge today is a pentecostalization of Christianity around the world. The term pentecostalization refers to the exceptionally fast rise in the number of many types of strictly Pentecostal communities, and the gradual transformation of many other Christian churches and congregations into a single, universal type of charismatic Christianity around the globe.

    Принято считать, что судебный перевод должен быть точным и передавать все нюансы исходного сообщения, включая стиль и регистр речи говорящего, акцентное выделение, громкость и экспрессивность высказывания, паузы, а также экстралингвистические элементы сообщения (см. Driesen 1992; González, Vásquez & Mikkelson 1991: 16, 272; Hale 2004: 8–9; Mikkelson 2000: 50, 61; Moeketsin1999: 100). В выступлении коснусь вопроса передачи особенностей лексикона говорящего при переводе судебного допроса. Передача лексических особенностей речи может быть важна по двум причинам. Во-первых, формулировка вопроса, выбор используемых при этом слов и терминов может быть сознательным и тщательно продуманным стратегическим ходом адвоката или прокурора (см. Colin & Morris 1996: 21; Kiesiläinen & Niemi-Kiesiläinen 2000: 190.) Определенный выбор слов может даже применяться для манипуляции памятью свидетеля или служить средством для введения его в заблуждение (Haapasalo 2000: 58). Допрашиваемый, отвечая на заданный ему вопрос, может сознательно подбирать те или иные слова или выражения, наиболее оптимально отвечающие его ви́дению происходящего. Во-вторых, особенности речи допрашиваемого, в том числе и лексики, создает у слушающих, и в первую очередь у членов суда, определенное объективное или субъективное представление о личности говорящего и о правдивости его показаний. Такие представления могут иметь значение при оценке доказательств и вынесении решения по делу. В качестве материала исследования используются аутентичные переводы судебных допросов, выполненных в языковой паре финский-русский. Аудиозаписи переводов транскрибированы, аннотированы и сохранены в корпусе устного перевода CIC (Corpus of Court Interpreting at the University of Tampere), созданного на кафедре перевода русского языка Института современных языков и переводоведения Тамперского университета (Финляндия). В  докладе будут рассмотрены две категории лексических единиц – разговорные слова и выражения и специальные юридические термины. Результаты корпусного исследования дают основания полагать, что переводчики систематически изменяют регистр речи, используемый говорящим. При переводе разговорная, подчас несколько сниженная лексика нормализируется, а термины, в свою очередь, нередко заменяются неспециальными выражениями или опускаются. Полагаю, что переводчик неосознанно стремится передавать сообщения общедоступным, литературным языком и потому сглаживает использование нестандартной лексики.
    Artykuł podejmuje zagadnienie cech leksykalnych mowy podczas tłumaczenia sądowego. Studium bazuje na zapisie autentycznych przesłuchań sądowych z udziałem tłumacza oraz stanowi analizę korpusową w ujęciu analitycznym. Analiza danych pokazuje, że tłumacze starają się zachować zgodność z makrokontekstem sądowym oraz sytuacją, w której tłumaczenia ma miejsce. To może prowadzić do błędnego zrozumienia tożsamości mówcy przez odbiorcę. Przecenianie cech idiolektu mówcy może prowadzić do błędnych przekazów ważnych informacji zawartych w wiadomości źródłowej. Obraz może fałszować także chęć tłumacza do wykorzystywania terminologii specjalistycznej sądowej.
    The article deals with the speaker‘s lexicon features during court interpretation. The study is based on the transcripts of the authentic interpreter mediated court investigations and analyzed using a corpus analytical approach. The analysis of the data shows, that interpreters strive to be loyal to the juristic macrocontext and the situation in which conversation takes place. That might lead to the wrong understanding of the identity (personality) of the speaker by the recipient. The overemphasizing of the features of speakers idiolect might lead to major misrepresentation of the information that was in the source message. The interpreter's endeavor of using special juristic terms might also complicate communication process.

    Screenplay is a multifunctional project written by screenwriter or screenwriters for preparing next phases of film production. Changing and many times transformed forms of screenplay belong to the nature of screenwriting. Literary vision of film changes several times being result of synergy and typical work in progress: from general idea and high concept, through story, treatment, scalette, first draft and certain number of drafts, to final draft, director’s draft and shooting script. Marek Hendrykowski’s study describes and explains these terms as forms of literary film creation in three complementary aspects: creative re-vision, rewriting and remodeling.
