    This paper refers to a selected fragmant, which is about children’s gendered behaviours and children’s thoughts on gender issue, of an ethnographic study on children’s subjectivitation processes through digital technologies. For this whole study, philosophy for children approach was used as a technique to conduct focus group interviews with children in a periodical basis. The selected parts for this paper are based on three different sections of those interviews; first one is about children’s opinions on gender roles, referring to gendered occupations and plays for kids, the second one is also conducted to reveal the hidden discourses on gender in real society and virtual world which has been built on the existed world, and lastly adult-children hierarchical relations, was debated with children in order to connect this distinction to gender differences, will be mentioned.

    Opis:
    Standardized tests administered nationwide in the fth grade of the elementary school in Israel have shown that in the subject of mathematics boys achieve signi cantly higher scores than do girls. This gap is worrisome because of the importance of mathematical skills in success in education, both in the secondary school and in higher education, and in the job market. This paper brie y reviews a number of possible reasons for this gap, including lack of suitability to girls of current instruction methods in frameworks of mixed-gender education, de ciencies in mathematics training and math anxiety among teachers, gender stereotypes, and the phenomenon of the self-ful lling prophecy. Then the paper outlines the researcher’s proposed method, Computer Assisted Learning (CAL), for promoting girls’ achievements in mathematics. Initial results have been promising.

    Głównym tematem artykułu jest zróżnicowanie obrazu pokolenia I wojny światowej w literaturze polskiej i bałkańskiej. Przedmiotem przeprowadzonej analizy porównawczej stały się dwa utwory: Odznaka za wierną służbę Andrzeja Struga oraz opowiadanie Ambrożek domobrońca (Domobran Jambrek) Miroslava Krležy z tomu Chorwacki bóg Mars. Autorka objaśnia zasady i funkcję patetycznej poetyki opisu wojny w prozie Struga oraz zupełnie odmiennej, ironicznej poetyki opowiadania Krležy. Mimo wielu podobieństw, oba utwory emitują odmienne ideologie artystyczne i polityczne. W zakończeniu artykułu kolejnym odniesieniem dla tematu wojennego jest powieść serbskiego pisarza, Miloša Crnjanskiego pt. Zapiski o Czarnojeviciu. W konkluzji rozważań autorka wskazuje na odmienność kontekstów tradycji i zwraca uwagę na formacyjne znaczenie polskiego romantyzmu.  
    The main subject of the article is a diverse image of the generation of World War I in Polish and Balkan literature. The two works which have been a subject of the comparative study are Badge of Loyal Service by Andrzej Strug and the novel Domobran Jambrek by Miroslaw Krleža (a part of Croatian God Mars). The author explains the principles and functions of pompous poetics of the description of war in the prose by Strug and in a completely different, ironic poetics of the stories by Krleža. Despite many similarities, the two works transmit different artistic and political ideologies. In the last part of the article, another point of reference to the subject of war is a novel by Serbian writer Miloš Crnjanski: Records of Czarnojevic. In the conclusion of her considerations, the author points to the diversity of contexts of tradition and draws attention to the importance of formative function of Polish Romanticism.

    Artykuł jest próbą prześledzenia migranckich losów urodzonych w Szopienicach (dzielnicy Katowic) artystów: Kazimierza Kutza, Henryka Bereski i Hilarego Krzysztofiaka na podstawie ich twórczości. Sięgając po pojęcie migracji nietypowych, autorka analizuje przyczyny powojennych wyjazdów mieszkańców katowickiej dzielnicy (rodzinne, tożsamościowe, edukacyjne, zdrowotne) na szerokim tle migracji Ślązaków po 1945 roku, zwłaszcza do Niemiec. Migracje artystyczne stają się w tym układzie rozbudowaną refleksją na temat zjawiska badanego dotąd rzadko i rozproszonego, dostarczając materiału nie tylko historykom literatury czy sztuki, ale też socjologom. Na analizę składają się część poświęcona pograniczu, jałowej ziemi i estetyce przedstawień migracji. W konkluzji pojawia się propozycja rozumienia jej ujęć poza autobiografią, na kilku poziomach – w tym biografii zbiorowej mieszkańców dzielnicy (Kutz) i ponadindywidualnych obserwacji (Bereska), osadzających doświadczenie granic, nawet po ich usunięciu, w biografiach ludzi XX i XXI wieku.
    The article is an attempt to trace the migrant fate of the artists born in Szopienice (a district of Katowice): Kazimierz Kutz, Henryk Bereska and Hilary Krzysztofiak on the basis of their works. Reaching for the concept of atypical migrations, the author analyzes the reasons for the post-war departures of the inhabitants of the Katowice district (family, identity, educational, health) against the broad background of the migration of Silesians after 1945, especially to Germany. In this system, artistic migrations become an extensive reflection on a phenomenon that has so far been rarely studied and scattered, providing material not only to historians of literature or art, but also to sociologists. The analysis consists of a part devoted to the borderland, barren land and the aesthetics of representations of migration. In conclusion, there is a proposal to understand its views beyond autobiography, on several levels, including the collective biography of the inhabitants of the district (Kutz) and supra-individual observations (Bereska), embedding the experience of borders, even after their removal, in the biographies of people of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.

    In this paper, I analyse the educational and teaching systems developed for boys joining Vilnius craft workshops. The boys worked (participating in production) and prepared themselves for their future profession. In my paper, I present the educational and teaching paths leading to an apprentice assuming the status of a fellow. It is interesting how the students operated in the structures of the guild workshops and what skills they possessed. The research does not encompass the sons of master craftsmen and out-of-guild craftsmen who would come to Vilnius and attempt to join the craft guilds. These issues require a separate analysis. It was not my intention to provide a holistic study of the issue; rather, I revised and supplemented Józef Morzy’s research in which he partly analysed craft guilds in Vilnius with respect to the essential work skills. In my analysis, I made use of the statutes of the craft guilds operating in Vilnius, one of the biggest cities in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, in the early modern period.
