Migrations constitute nowadays important and actual problem. The subject of the study are internal migrations among subregions (NUTS3) in province slaskie, considered from the spatial point of view. There are applied econometric migration models, i.e. gravitation and distance models, for inflow as well as for outflow of the migrants in subregions; an attempt was undertaken to indicate the factors influencing the level of migration in the province. It turned out that the most important factor for migrants flow are distances among the subregions. Unemployment rate in subregions seemed to hinder the migration processes while high level of wages and incomes stimulated them. Positive balance of migration was characteristic for low industrialized subregions, located in the periphery of the province, while in subregions of high level of industry the migration balance was negative.

The article presents the analysis of the readiness of students - current and future human resources in IT branch - enrolled in Computer Science field of study in Lubelskie region universities to work in the German IT sector. The determinants of spatial mobility towards Germany, related to potential employment in the sector in line with their education, have been indicated. In the middle of last century, international migration in Europe have become a factor which significantly began to affect the population and its rate of change. International Movements in the north-west Europe significantly influenced the growth of population in the countries of southern slow decline in population, in the case of Eastern Europe accelerated decline in population. From the perspective of long-term, we see how the ethnic and cultural face of Europe. Is our country, we can expect similar changes in migration? This article presents the current and future trend in international migration in selected EU countries.

Migrations of people from the Opole province to European Union countries, especially to Germany and the Netherlands have a significant impact on the labour market situation in the region. Analysis of the structure of unemployment in the Opole province, according to some socio-demographic characteristics, shows that the problem of unemployment threatens people in the specific situation on the labour market - young people under 25 years of age, people with low professional qualifications, or those who don't have any qualifications. A high percentage of unemployed women and long-termed unemployed people is observed. However, in the context of migration processes, there are clear spatial variations in size and structure of unemployment in the Opole province, which are closely linked to ethnicity of the population. The population of Silesia, which has dual nationality - Polish and German, since the early 90s of the last century has been leaving for a profit to the west of Europe. In the areas inhabited by this population the unemployment rate is much lower, which is associated with migration for economic reasons, but on the other hand these trips have contributed to the depletion of labour forces in terms of quantity and quality. Many local labour markets for many years have been struggling with a shortage of skilled labour force. Polish accession to the European Union made it possible to work abroad, which resulted in a further increase in international migration, and thus is reflected in the labour market situation in the region. Currently it is estimated that approximately 150 thousand of the Opole province residents stay abroad.

The level of socio-economic, demographic processes and processes of migration phenomena are interdependent. The study has been subjected to a detailed analysis of inflow and outflow and the net internal migration in the Silesian province. The research includes internal migration in the Silesian province in terms of time (years 1995-2011) and spatial (sub Silesian province). In the context of economic and social processes in the Silesian province were examined trends in migration and development in this region and was carried out statistical analysis of the structure of migration.

In view of globalization process analysis of migration forms important and actual problem. The paper presents the results of statistic, econometric and demographic analysis of migration processes in Silesia province in Poland in 2010. Especially taken into account was problem of negative migration balance in the province, caused, as stated, by decreasing influx to the Silesia province from the others. There were estimated migration models of influx and outflow of the migrants. Finally, it has been stated that some of the migration laws formed in XIX century by E.G. Ravenstein are still actual in Poland, among others the law of relation between the level of migration and its distance, and the law of opposite flows of migration, while the law of higher migration of urban (vs. rural) inhabitants was no longer valid.

Celem artykułu jest przeprowadzenie analizy porównawczej zmian demograficznych oraz ruchów migracyjnych w Polsce na tle innych krajów oraz określenie wpływu tych zjawisk na rynek pracy. Badaniem objęto lata 2000-2012, wykorzystując dostępne dane statystyczne z zasobów polskich, krajów UE oraz organizacji międzynarodowych. W artykule dokonano także przeglądu literatury przedmiotu. Autorzy wykazali zarówno pozytywny, jak i negatywny wpływ badanych zjawisk na zachodzące na rynku pracy zmiany struktury uczestników tego rynku.
The aim of this article is to conduct a comparative analysis of demographic changes and migration in Poland compared to other countries and the impact of these phenomena on the labour market. The study covered the years 2004-2012, using statistical data available resources in Poland, European Union countries as well as international organisations. This article reviews the available literature. The authors showed both positive and negative effects on studied phenomena taking place in the labour market changes in the structure of market participants.

W artykule zostały opisane kryteria oceny wartości wizualizacji danych oraz metody wykorzystywane do uzyskiwania informacji z danych. Analiza empiryczna ma na celu wskazanie obszarów, których eksploracja może przyczynić się do stworzenia rozwiązań poprawiających sytuację np. na rynku pracy.
The article presents the characteristics and advantages of using graphical forms of data analysis confirmed by empirical study. It presents trends of visualization in the reference to the latest developments in the field of business intelligence. The article describes the criteria for assessing the value of data visualization methods used to obtain information from the data. Empirical analysis in the article aims to identify the areas where exploration can help to create solutions that improve the situation, for example in the labor market field.

The aim of this paper is to present and discuss the approaches of the European Union and the United States of America towards the phenomenon of irregular immigration after 2010. Our analysis is based on official documents and other works published by the EU and U.S. federal government as well as on the literature in this field. This study is a continuation of our comparative papers from 2016-2018 devoted to different aspects of complex migratory reality in the EU and U.S. as well as corresponding public policies. We conclude that the high concentration in recent years on securing the borders and strengthening the policy of their control is similar for both entities. However, the effectiveness of the U.S. in defining and implementing a single approach to irregular migration is possible to a greater degree than in the EU – an international organization grouping sovereign states having their own national interests.
Od momentu prezydenckiej inauguracji D.J. Trumpa w 2017 r. USA rozpoczęły reorientację swojej polityki imigracyjnej. Dotknęła ona wielu grup, ale najdotkliwiej imigrantów nieregularnych. Radykalnym krokiem w stronę ograniczenia wielkości ich populacji i ograniczenia napływu nowych imigrantów jest „polityka braku tolerancji”. Z kolei w UE, do której w związku z jej położeniem geograficznym i potencjałem społeczno-ekonomicznym, również docierają nieregularni imigranci, wzrost zainteresowania tym zjawiskiem nastąpił wraz z kryzysem migracyjnym i uchodźczym. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie podejścia UE i USA do zjawiska imigracji nieregularnej po 2010 r. W opracowaniu wykorzystano dorobek prawny i wybrane materiały publikowane przez instytucje UE oraz przez amerykańskie instytucje rządowe, a także literaturę przedmiotu. Artykuł jest kontynuacją publikacji autorów z lat 2016-2018 poświęconych wybranym aspektom migracji międzynarodowych w UE i USA.

W artykule ukazano związek pomiędzy typem strategii migracji klientów do kanału on-line (przymusowa, swobodna, oparta na karach/nagrodach) a zmianą w poziomie lojalności względem usługodawcy. Celem artykułu jest znalezienie odpowiedzi na pytanie badawcze: czy rodzaj zastosowanej strategii migracji klientów do kanału on-line ma wpływ na lojalność klientów? Pierwsza część artykułu stanowi tło teoretyczne do badania zagadnienia lojalności konsumentów. W części empirycznej, na przykładzie usług telekomunikacyjnych, wykorzystano podejście scenariuszowe. Wyniki badania wykazały, że jakakolwiek zmiana w dotychczasowych warunkach współpracy usługodawcy z klientem wpływa na poziom jego lojalności, rozumianej jako intencja zakupu kolejnej usługi. W końcowej części artykułu sformułowano wnioski oraz praktyczne implikacje.
The article indicates the relationship between type of e-channel migration strategy (forced/ voluntary strategy, based on punishment/reward) and the change in level of loyalty to the service provider. The purpose of this article was to find out: Does the type of customer migration strategy to the online channel have an impact on customer loyalty? The study (scenario approach, case of telecommunications services) results suggest that any change in the conditions of cooperation between customer and service supplier affects the level of customer loyalty. In the final part of the article conclusions and practical implications were formulated.

The situation on European, national and local labour market is still awaken public opinion and scientist interest. Therefore more and more often research which are designed to determine the activity of employment and unemployment of different groups of society is undertaken. Thus, the paper presents the results of one such study conducted in the capital of the Opole Voivodeship - Opole, which aim was to determine an employment in Poland, an employment abroad and unemployment of Opole citizens. Presented in this paper studies provide information not only about the share of employment in Poland, but also about the scale of emigration, including the people working abroad continuously and periodically. The results also showed the diversity of the employment in the country and abroad, and of unemployment between the examined group of the men and women and between residing in different districts of Opole as well.

The period of research was the year 2010. The data came from the Central Statistical Office, the Regional Data Bank.
