Opis:
The purpose of this research conducted between October 2018 and April 2019 was to determine the effect of the first and second transitional season on the nutrient profile in Ciletuh Bay. The data used in this research and directly taken from the research site were seawater quality parameters, analysis of granulometry sample and analysis of nutrient profile, while all data processing was conducted in a laboratory. The method used in this study was purposive sampling. The results of this research indicated that the nutrient profile in the first transitional season is higher than the second transition season. This is due to the introduction of organic matter into the waters. From this research it can be concluded that the first transitional season affects the concentration of nutrient in Ciletuh Bay.

The purpose of the study undertaken between May 2018 and April 2019 is to determine the effect of rain water intensity on the value of macrozoobenthos structures in Ciletuh Bay. The data used in this research and directly taken from the research site are seawater quality parameters, analysis of sample granulometry and identification of the sample macrzoobenthos, while all data processing was conducted in the laboratory. The method used in this study was purposive sampling. The result of this research in sand type sediment texture brought a count of 96 macrozoobenthos individuals. In contrast, the count was only 7 in silt type sediments. The study concluded that the effect of varied rainfall intensity impacts the water quality parameters that caused the difference types of sediment in Ciletuh Bay.

Opis:
Citarum River is one of the largest rivers in West Java, Indonesia. With a length of 297 km, it transfers the debris from the urban area, industry, and settlement to the ocean. This research aims to explore Marine Debris (MD) trajectories from two estuaries in Jakarta Bay. The method was included lagrangian particles with ocean currents, wind, and bathymetry conditions using GNOME software. There were three classes of simulation done in this research. MD observations were conducted in mangrove areas to validate the simulations. These simulations occurred during the northwest and southeast Monsoon period. The results showed that the debris trajectory patterns vary in the two monsoons, and waste from the two estuaries flow towards the south and southwest. In NWM, more waste moved further to the south and was stranded in the surrounding coastal areas. In SEM, waste moved towards the Jakarta bay and surrounding islands in the western and southern side of the estuaries. MD, especially the ones from Jaya estuary, affect other areas.

Opis:
Arenicola marina (Linnaeus, 1758), a marine polychaete worm of the phylum Annelida is rarely seen but its coiled castings are a familiar sight on a beach at low tide of both northern and southern hemisphere. The genus Arenicola enjoys a wide distribution and in the tropical and sub-tropical regions A. cristata is the dominant species. Apart from a few records on the beaches of Indian Ocean and Arabian Sea the genus has not been known so far from any other part of India. In a study on the sandy as well as mudflats of Bay of Bengal at Chandipur in Odisha, India, we observed quite a big numbers of castings of Arenicola during the end of December, 2015 and accidentally found a full grown individual at the sandy beach. From that point of view it is the first report of its kind from this part of the globe, especially from Bay of Bengal, India.

From the Cold War to the Google mobile, the history of American stupidity conforms to and confirms the behavioral model that stupidity is the learned inability to learn. Specifically, stupidity is a normal, dysfunctional learning process which occurs when a schema formed by linguistic biases and social norms acts via the neurotic paradox to establish a positive feedback system which becomes first self-sustaining and then renders behavior irrelevant to the environment by carrying detached actions to maladaptive excesses.

Opis:
The Flathead mullet (Mugil cephalus) is a mullet of the genus Mugil in the family Mugilidae, found in coastal tropical, subtropical and estuarine water worldwide. Lipid was extracted from the muscle of Flathead mullet (Mugil cephalus) by solvent extraction method and characterized with respect to various chemical e.g. saponification value, saponification equivalent value, acid value, iodine value, peroxide value, ester value, thicyanogen value, unsaponifiable matter, Henher value, Polenske value, Reichert-Meissl value etc properties and compared with those of different oils. Palmitic acid, Stearic acid and Myristic acid were observed at fatty acid composition of the sample by chromatographic examination. Percentages of protein and mineral (N, P, K, Ca) in the muscle of Flathead mullet were studied by modified Kjeldahl method.
