    Opis:
    Railway system infrastructure, including control subsystems, is subject to continuous normative technical and legal regulations as defined by EU directives and European Commission regulations, as well as national railway administrations decrees. The aim of regulation is the optimization, harmonization and pursuit of the full interoperability, among others, of control subsystems, through the Control Command and Signalling Technical Specifications for Interoperability (CCS TSI), thereby providing consistency in terms of safety assurance level improvements. Regardless of TSI and baseline specification sets, it is crucial that certification processes function according to specific rules and procedures. In this publication, certification issues concerning a control subsystem and its elements will be discussed. It is assumed that the certification process should include a complex approach to CCS, starting from the project phase and finishing at the adaptation and trial exploitation phase. It is critical that CCS system adaptation is intensified in the PKP PLK.

    Opis:
    This article shows that there is a need to carry out the certification process of the system of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) as an element conditioning the safety of their operation. The published statistics related to the operation of this type of technical objects were presented and analysed stating that one of the causes of incidents and accidents involving the unmanned aircraft mostly includes failure of components of the unmanned aircraft systems. Considering the lack of definitive formulated legislation and procedures in this area, it gains particular importance. Bearing in mind the review nature of this article, it also introduces basic information on the certification of unmanned aircraft systems, according to standardisation agreements of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO). Furthermore, this article presents the characteristics of unmanned aircraft systems, especially for this class of devices, in case of their failure there is no ultimate level of safety guarantee, which is the human factor – operatoraction.

    The presented paper concentrate on the results of research on the relationship between the innovation index of a country according to the European Innovation Scoreboard for 2015 and the widespread of quality management system and environmental systems certifications as measured by the number of certificates of the particular type (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and TS 16949) per million inhabitants).

    Opis:
    Purpose: The aim of the article is to present the results of research conducted using the statistical method on the results of project management certification exams (IPMA-Student). The purpose of the research was to determine which elements of post-graduate students' competences are best developed. Design/methodology/approach: In the study, the statistical method and the individual case method were used. The data came from the IPMA-Student portal, from the results of the exam in electronic version. MS Excel 2013 software was used to prepare the results of the analysis. Basic statistical analyses were made. In addition, the analysed groups were compared due to the IPMA-Student's exam result. One-factor analysis of variance was used for this purpose. Findings: In the course of the work, the level of management competence in the various areas of technical, behavioural and contextual competence was identified. Practical implications: The results of the research and conclusions can be used as material to indicate which elements of project management competence require support and can be useful in the formulation of training programmes both at universities and in training companies. Originality/value: The research is based on the actual results of business certification exams carried out by an international independent professional association. Therefore, the result of the research is not based on a declarative description of students' competences, but on the real results of the exam.

    Z uwagi na powszechne stosowanie we współczesnych przedsiębiorstwach technologii informatycznych w celu zbierania i przetwarzania danych w artykule skupiono się na przedstawieniu obszarów i korzyści stosowania jednego z narzędzi analitycznych wspomagających techniki audytowe – CAAT (Computer Assisted Audit Techniques). Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na wykorzystanie technik CAAT podczas przeprowadzania audytów w procesie certyfikacji, a w konsekwencji - przy podejmowaniu decyzji o zgodności, wdrożonego w przedsiębiorstwie Systemu Zarządzania Jakością QMS, z wymaganiami normy ISO 9001:2015.
    Due to the universal using of information technology in contemporary enterprises for data collection and processing, the paper focuses on presenting the areas and benefits of the one of the analytical tools supporting audit techniques -CAAT (Computer Assisted Audit Techniques). Particular attention has been pointed out to the use of CAAT techniques during carrying out audits in the certification process and, consequently, during making the decisions of the compliance, of the Quality Management System (QMS) with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015.
