Opis:
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is gaining more and more importance. It involves activities that is associated with the organization’s ethical behavior towards society, in particular its recipients, employees, other stakeholders as well as its impact on the environment. Universities deserve special attention in the field of CSR activities which play a huge role in shaping society, its development and are source of information for it. The aim of the paper is to analyze the three examples of polish clusters in the social responsibility context. In the paper the authors also described short history of clusters, their main ideas and the conception of CSR in the theoretical aspect.

Klastry logistyczne to forma współpracy, która skupia przede wszystkim operatorów logistycznych, wykorzystujących współpracę do kształtowania nowego i doskonalenia dotychczasowego produktu logistycznego. Artykuł przedstawia istotę klastra i współdziałania w ramach tej formy współpracy.
Clusters are a new form of cooperation between enterprises, institutions and organizations. This form develops more intensively. Creation of a cooperation network in the value chain is today a fundamental process in building the competitive advantage, which is based on innovation. Logistics clusters are a form of cooperation, which focuses primarily on logistics operators who use cooperation to the development and improvement of new or existing logistics services. The article presents the essence of the cluster conception and cooperation in logistics clusters

The main purpose of this paper is to show the role of euroregions in the development of clusters. Euroregion is a formalized form of cross-border cooperation. Euroregion creates favorable conditions for the development of clusters. Preliminary discussion devoted to theoretical issues related to the euroregions and clusters. The rest of the work is an attempt to discuss the tasks and the role of euroregions in the development of networks of cooperation between enterprises in cross-border regions.

The article proposes a scientific and methodological approach to solve the problems of the construction energy cluster forecasting development, which provides an opportunity to unite the known technology of constructing time series models with the technology of simultaneous systems equations. It was developed the quantification process of the forecasting economic and mathematical formation model of energy cluster development, which will allow to detail the stages of mathematical modeling in the context of the studied problems, taking into account the specificity of production and commercial activity of all integration formation participants. The conditions for carrying out forecasting and analytical procedures of construction energy cluster development have been identified, in particular by the specificity and type of cause and effect and dynamic relationships between the main economic indicators, the intensity factors development trends, the dynamics of regular factors, described by linear and nonlinear ones.

Purpose: The objective of this article is to present a new direction in management (POS) from social responsibility perspective, using clusters as an example. Design/methodology/approach: The article is based on an in-depth literature analysis, taking into account the definition of Positive Organizational Scholarship and corporate social responsibility. The subject of the analysis will be clusters as network organizations. Findings: The concepts presented in the article are the Positive Organizational Scholarship, the subject of which is the cause and effect chain. Its initial link is the specific configuration of organization resources and the final link are the results that are a proof of the organization development. The second discussed concept is corporate social responsibility that is the foundation for Positive Organizational Scholarship. The system of Corporate social responsibility management, in particular the ISO 26000 standard, is a key factor for the development of the abovementioned concept. Research and practical limitation/implications: The research is of theoretical nature. It is an introduction to quantitative and qualitative research in selected clusters, taking into account POS and CSR provisions. Originality/value: The article is an original approach to the activity of clusters in the context of corporate social responsibility and Positive Organizational Scholarship.

Changeability of market conditions make businesses look for effective cooperation methods. To increase their competitive edge, companies often work together in clusters which are groups of organizations on a certain area connected by a network of vertical and horizontal relationships. The formation of a cluster is a result of a cluster initiative. The goal of the article is to determine factors conducive to cluster initiatives and the relationship between these factors and the number of enterprises cooperating within a cluster in individual provinces in Poland. A spatial analysis of data concerning production and services companies was carried out. The years 2012-2014 were analyzed.

Opis:
The paper presents the characteristics of clusters and cluster organizations operating in cultural and creative industries. To present the sector in terms of sales and employment values the statistical data were analysed, using different approaches to determining the scope of the creative sector (Eurostat, International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers as well as European Cluster Observatory). The data are compiled with the number of clusters in the EU countries. Presented results shows the need for continues monitoring the cultural and creative sectors to adapt national and regional innovation policy and coordinate the cooperation between creative industries and other sectors of the national/regional economy.

W analizie i ocenie działalności klastrów jako bardzo zróżnicowanych i dynamicznych struktur sieciowych można przyjąć, że ich wspólną właściwością jest stosunek do innowacji i gospodarki wiedzą. Te czynniki są kluczem sukcesu w powstawaniu i rozwoju klastrów kluczowych i są obecne w dobrych praktykach funkcjonowania wszelkich struktur sieciowych. Zatem kategoria innowacji i wiedzy może być silnym kryterium różnicującym ocenę działań i zachowań uczestników klastra. W artykule przedstawiona została propozycja oceny potencjału rozwojowego klastra oparta na perspektywie innowacyjnej.
In analysis and evaluation of activities of clusters as diversified and dynamic network structures it is possible to assume that their shared property is the attitude towards the innovation and knowledge management. These factors are a key of the success in coming into existence and the development of crucial clusters and are present among best practices of functioning of all network structures. And so the category of the innovation and knowledge can be a strong criterion diversifying the evaluation of operations and of behaviours of participants in the cluster. In the article the proposal of the evaluation of the developmental potential of cluster based on the innovative prospect was presented.

The study concerns a natural cluster that arises as a consequence of the development of Euroregion. Each Euroregion has a "form" of a cluster "inscribed" into the philosophy of its functioning, which in turn creates a new management structure for the area covered by Euroregion. To document the above statement, the study attempted to compare the characteristics of Euroregion and a cluster, to describe mutual dependencies and convergences between them, which was included, among others, in the form of synthetic tables (Tables 4 and 5). Euroregion itself is a cluster, and it manages its subordinate area through Euroregional institutions. The term "natural" stems from the fact that Euroregion as a region bears the signs of naturalness, as it is created from the bottom up due to natural causes and motives, which through formalisation take on a specific shape of the structure with its institutions. Euroregion itself (a natural cluster), in addition to its management capabilities over the region, is also managed by the institutions representing it (described here is the Association of European Border Regions - AEBR). As a result, Euroregion as a natural cluster manages on its own and is subject to being managed.

In the article attempts to show that cooperation between business, science and business environment institutions, which takes place in clusters, reduces the existing barriers in the commercialization of knowledge, promotes the transfer of technology, which in turn has a positive effect on innovation of all the actors in the cluster and contribute at the same time to enhance their competitive position. Method used in the work is the analysis of secondary data, including statistical data on the transfer of technology and innovation of Polish enterprises.

At present speed ranges for Levels of Service (LOS) categories are not well defined for highly heterogeneous traffic flow on urban streets in Indian context. In this regard a study was carried out in the city of Mumbai in India. The objective of this research work is to define free-flow speed ranges of urban street classes and speed ranges of LOS categories. In this regard speed data were collected using GPS palmtop and Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) clustering is used to define the speed ranges. It is found from this study that speed-ranges for LOS categories in Indian context are lower than that mentioned in Highway Capacity Manual.

Artykuł przedstawia istotę zjawiska dialogu w klastrach. Dialog, będący podstawą komunikacji międzyludzkiej, został ukazany w perspektywie podejścia sieciowego w zarządzaniu strategicznym. W artykule zaprezentowano również użyteczność podejścia fenomenologicznego dla analizy zjawisk sieciowych w klastrach oraz sformułowano zasady dialogu, które stosowane w praktyce przyczyniają się do wzrostu racjonalności podejmowanych działań w sieciach i klastrach. Przedstawione przykłady praktyczne prowadzonego dialogu dotyczą pięciu wybranych klastrów kreatywnych działających w Polsce.
In the paper the essence of dialogue in the cluster have been presented. Dialogue, underlying human communication, have been shown from the perspective of network approach in strategic management. The paper also includes discussion of the usefulness of phenomenological approach for analysis of phenomenon in networks. The author formulated rules of dialogue that determine the rationality of undertaken activities. Presented cases of conducted dialogue consider five chosen creative clusters in Poland.

Introduction: At each stage of the research development cycle for a specific discipline or sub discipline, taking into account the global nature of the knowledge dissemination process and the dynamics of change, researchers ask themselves questions about potential areas of research, the degree of intensity of research conducted so far, leading research centers and scientists in a given research field. Bibliometric is a tool that allows to answer the above questions. The bibliometric analysis allows us to discover the current state of a research field, identify the principal authors, articles, and topics, and propose future research lines to develop it further. Aim of the paper: The aims of the article is to present the results of bibliometric analysis of scientific research on issues of energy cluster, published between 1914 and 2022 in the Web of Science Core Collection and Scopus database. Materials and methods: The articles were analyzed quantitatively, and by word and author co-occurrence. The author also showed in the paper among other things: documents per years by sources, documents by country or territory, the most popular publishers, document types or years with the highest number of published papers on energy clusters. Keywords analysis of bibliometric data indexed in this two databases is the main research method applied to conduct the study. The method of systematic literature review is used to outline the theoretical background of the study. Results and conclusions: This study shows that interest in energy clusters has been growing steadily over the years in many scientific fields. Conducted bibliometric analysis has shown that the greatest interest, where energy clusters gain importance, are scientific articles (almost 80%), in which the Journal of Chemical Physics has a clear advantage. The analysis in the future should be expanded to include additional indicators. Therefore, the presented analysis is preliminary and should be the subject of further research.

W artykule scharakteryzowano istotę i znaczenie branż twórczych jako kluczowego stymulatora współczesnego rozwoju gospodarczego. Na podstawie przeglądu literatury nakreślono specyfikę funkcjonowania tych branż. Uwypuklono wielopłaszczyznowe podejście do ich definiowania. Dokonany szeroki przegląd, podejmowanych na forum Unii Europejskiej, inicjatyw wspólnotowych prowadzi do stwierdzenia, że branże twórcze mają decydujące znaczenie dla inteligentnego i zrównoważonego rozwoju gospodarczego promowanego we współczesnej Europie. Podjęta w niniejszym artykule próba uchwycenia specyfiki funkcjonowania branż twórczych w kontekście twórczego talentu wykwalifikowanego kapitału ludzkiego oraz powstawania klastrów twórczych może stanowić punkt wyjścia do bardziej wyczerpującej analizy specyficznych uwarunkowań rozwoju gospodarczego, w szczególności w skali regionalnej.
The paper describes the role of Creative Industries as a key driver in fostering contemporary economic development. Based on a broad literature review distinctive features of such industries were identified. Moreover, related to the debate on the conceptualization of Creative Industries different operational definitions were formalized. A broad overview of the EU Community initiatives leads to the conclusion that the Creative Industries constitute a key driver in stimulating smart and sustainable economic development in Europe. The identification of the essential processes of Creative Industries in the context of individuals’ creative talent and the emergence of creative clusters would constitute a starting point for a more comprehensive analysis of the potentially determinants of contemporary economic development, especially at the regional level.
