Opis:
Kształtowanie w dzieciach i młodzieży systemu wartości zgodnego z wartościami uniwersalnymi jest we współczesnym świecie nie lada wyzwaniem zarówno dla rodziców, jak i nauczycieli. Rola nauczyciela, jaką ma on do spełnienia w procesie wychowawczym, jest szczególna. Powinnością nauczyciela/wychowawcy jest nie tylko przekazywanie wiedzy o wartościach moralnych i wynikających z nich normach postępowania, ale przede wszystkim rozwijanie pewnego rodzaju wrażliwości moralnej wychowanków poprzez dawanie przykładu postępowania moralnego. Wśród wielu wartości uniwersalnych na szczególną uwagę zasługuje odpowiedzialność. Celem artykułu jest zwrócenie uwagi na tę kategorię aksjologiczną w szerokim wachlarzu wartości uniwersalnych. Zaprezentowano w nim dane z badań własnych, które obrazują fragment rzeczywistości edukacyjnej w zakresie opinii nauczycieli na temat odpowiedzialności.
Fostering a value system in line with the universal values of children and adolescents constitutes a globally significant challenge for parents and teachers alike. Teachers play a crucial part in the education process. The teacher or tutor should not reduce his or her role to simply spreading knowledge on moral values and the standards of conduct stemming from them, but above all they should foster certain moral sensitivity in their students by acting as an example of moral conduct. Responsibility is one of the universal values which deserves close attention. The aim of this article is to direct attention to this axiological category, which represents one of many universal values. The article includes the author's own research findings, which illustrate the educational reality in terms of teachers' views on the subject of responsibility.

Artykuł przedstawia ocenę prawną błędów fizjoterapeutycznych. Nie bez znaczenia dla tej oceny okazała się reglamentacja zawodu fizjoterapeuty, co pozwoliło na potwierdzenie, iż błędy w sztuce fizjoterapeutycznej w istocie stanowią błędy medyczne. Z kolei to pozwoliło na podjęcie rozważań nad ewentualną odpowiedzialnością karną tej grupy zawodowej za przedmiotowe błędy. Końcowe wnioski ostatecznie potwierdziły, że fizjoterapeuci mogą ponosić odpowiedzialność karną za błędy medyczne na podstawie art. 156, 157 lub 160 k.k.
The article presents a legal assessment of physiotherapeutic errors. It was not unimportant for this assessment that the regulation of the physiotherapist’s profession was proven, which made it possible to confirm that errors in physiotherapeutic art are in fact medical errors. In turn this allowed us to consider the possible criminal liability of this occupational group for medical errors. Final conclusions have finally confirmed that physiotherapists can be held liable for medical errors under Art. 156, 157 or 160 of the Penal Code.

Przedmiotem analizy jest relacja miłości i odpowiedzialności, ujęta w aspekcie aksjologii pedagogicznej. Fundamentem i źródłem obu wartości jest natura osoby ludzkiej. Miłość i odpowiedzialność, różniąc się między sobą, mają wspólne elementy w zakresie przedmiotu oddziaływania (Bóg, człowiek), treści (dobro), są podobne w dynamice rozwoju, stopniowalności i mają dialogiczny charakter. Zarazem występują w określonych zależnościach: ontycznych (miłość nie istnieje bez odpowiedzialności) i rozwojowych (dojrzałość miłości jest wprost proporcjonalna do rozwoju odpowiedzialności). Związki i zależności między obu wartościami implikują konieczność równoczesnego i umiejętnego wychowania do miłości i odpowiedzialności, które w dużym stopniu decydują o integralnym rozwoju wychowanka, jego człowieczeństwa i dojrzałości. Jest to istotne zadanie dla wychowawcy, którego działalność powinna cechować miłość i odpowiedzialność wychowawcza.
The subject of the analysis is the relationship of love and responsibility in terms of pedagogical axiology. The nature of the human person is the foundation and source of both values. Love and responsibility, while differing from each other, have common elements in terms of their object of action (God, man), their content (the good), they are similar in the dynamics of development, gradualism and have a dialogical character. At the same time, they occur in specific relationships: ontic (love does not exist without responsibility) and developmental (the maturity of love is directly proportional to the development of responsibility). The connections and dependencies between the two values imply the necessity of simultaneous and skilful education to love and responsibility, which to a large extent determine the integral development of the pupil, his humanity and maturity. This is an important task for the educator, whose activity should be characterized by love and educational responsibility.

Opis:
Commenting on an article devoted to the continuing education of assessment psychologists from the point of view of transport psychology, the author proposes that various forms of postgraduate education should be evaluated in terms of the assumed and verifiable effects of education, and that, with their assumptions based on the effects-based approach (EBA), they should develop a habit of combining practice with scientific knowledge. Since many people lack basic psychological skills, the best solution in their case seems to be traineeship and work under supervision. The system of education should take into account the fact that the teaching of rules, skills, and procedures amounts to taking over part of the responsibility for the trainees’ actions in their future assessment practice.

Opis:
Corporate Social Responsibility is a general strategy in which a company voluntarily takes into consideration social matters represented by groups connected with the company’s operations. Those actions are intended to achieve certain economic goals. In this way, enterprises can incorporate public interests, including employees’ and environmental issues, into their operations. The article presents actions conducted by insurance companies that are related to the issues of social responsibility. The most significant examples involve aid provided to the disadvantaged, victims of car accidents or floods. It is notable that Polish companies show a growing interest in charity events as well as affairs of local communities. They also get involved in actions directed towards protection of natural environment.

In this paper, the author deals with the question of communion ecclesiology in the context of the current migration crisis in Europe. Contextual theology based on the correlation method tries to develop the understanding of the Church’s essence and mission by using the ecclesiological model called communion and putting it in the contemporary social context. The notion of the ‘stranger’ introduced by the sociologists into the public discourse seems to be very operative and useful category for ecclesiology as well. The first part of the article presents the phenomenon of the stranger in sociological perspective. The second part discusses Jesus as Sacrament of God in the encounter with strangers. The author analyses Jesus’ words and his attitude to strangers and socially alienated people. The third part describes the Church as the sacrament of responsibility and open home for strangers and poor people. The Church can be also understood as the mother with a heart open especially to those who suffer from war and misery. In the final part of this paper the author presents some pastoral implications. He draws attention to the necessity to enhance the social aspect of Eucharist and to encourage the believers to create the ‘culture of solidarity’ with refugees and strangers in need.

Publikacja koncentruje uwagę wokół próby odpowiedzi na trzy zasadnicze pytania: 1) Czym jest odpowiedzialność i kiedy staje się trajektorią – prowadzącą w świat dobra? 2) Jakie warunki są niezbędne, aby taka odpowiedzialność zaistniała? 3) Jak jest rozumiane samo dobro i co kryje się w pojęciu szeroko rozumianego „świata dobra”? Odpowiadając na podstawie analizy reprezentatywnej literatury przedmiotowej, autorka przybliża samo pojęcie odpowiedzialności, jak i dobra oraz opisuje warunki niezbędne do ich zaistnienia. Wśród warunków niezbędnych do zaistnienia odpowiedzialności szczególne miejsce przypisuje integralnemu wychowaniu osoby.
This publication focuses attention around an attempt to answer three fundamental questions: 1) What is responsibility and when does it become a trajectory — leading into the world of good? 2) What conditions are necessary for such responsibility to exist? 3) How is goodness itself understood and what is implicit in the concept of the “world of goodness” in the broadest sense? In answering this question, based on an analysis of representative literature on the subject, the author introduces the very notion of responsibility and good, and describes the conditions necessary for their occurrence. Among the conditions necessary for the existence of responsibility, she assigns a special place to the integral upbringing of the person.

All educational relations have to be anchored in responsibility and in pedagogical optimism. Hence the article concerns the issue of raising a man who is responsible and who has an optimistic attitude towards reality, which is a real challenge for modern parents and pedagogues. This can be achieved, among others, by setting adequate goals and planning educational actions in a precise way.

Opis:
Subsequent constitutions of the Second Republic of Poland, i.e. the March Constitution (1921) and the April Contitution (1935), determined on the one hand the mutual relation between the State and society as well as the extent of the State’s interference, and on the other the position and tasks of the administration with respect to the other bodies of State authority. Although it was the Prime Minister who represented the government externally, headed its activities and determined the general outline of the State policy, both constitutions provided for individual liability of the interior minister. In addition to parliamentary and constitutional liabilities, the April Constitution added political one, which in fact was to become the most important. As far as the structure of the central bodies (ministries) were concerned, neither of the constitutions specified the number and competences of the ministers, leaving these matters to normal course of legislation. Yet, until 1939 this matter remained unresolved.

Our perception of reality is subjective. Each person perceives reality in a different way, experiencing only a fraction of it. And yet we believe, or rather we want to believe, that there is an objective reality. Today one needs an extensive knowledge so as not to get lost in the hotchpotch of information provided by the modern media, and to find the information essential for us. Subconsciously, we are looking for an authority to provide us with an interpretation of reality, explanation, personal opinions and even instructions on how to understand it. Mass media have taken up this role in the modern, technologically developed society. The belief in the omniscient media drives people to perceive the media-generated images and news as more real than their own life experiences. Not without a reason the media consciously resort to manipulation. There is a conviction that one can rule over people by gaining power over their imagination. An average receiver of the 21st century media is a perfect target for the modern television, Internet, video games, etc; overworked, tired and stressed, s/he will trust the media and the information they provide. And again we come back to the question of whether it is the media that create the world, or is it the world that shapes the mass media? Whatever the answer, we arrive at further questions: the question of responsibility in the communication process, responsibility for spreading honest and reliable information, and responsibility for creating social relationships.

The implementation of selected constituents of the idea of business social responsibility is guaranteed by statutory law in many normative acts, with legal sanctions safeguarding their observance. First of all, the employer's obligation is to respect the dignity and other personal interests of its employee. The employer also has to take care of safe and hygienic working conditions and to facilitate improvement of employees’ professional qualifications. Depending on its capacities and conditions, the employer is also obligated to meet the living and cultural needs of its employees. Moreover, by reference to the principles of community life, the legal system is opened to the criteria that exist outside this system.

The article is joining the pedagogical reflection on the responsibility of family upbringing. I present selected results of my research and my attempts to interpret them. The collected empirical data allow to draw conclusions and predictions about the responsibility as a scheme of knowledge, its predictors and manifestations, as well as its regulatory functions.

Określając czynniki kryzysu finansowo-gospodarczego, autor podtrzymuje opinię specjalistów, że nie był on przypadkowy, a doprowadzono do niego celowo. Kryzys ma swoich inicjatorów i organizatorów, którzy dla osiągnięcia korzyści gotowi są zapomnieć o moralności. Dlatego właśnie za jeden z podstawowych czynników kryzysu finansowego można uznać kryzys duchowo-światopoglądowy i moralny. Powstaje zatem potrzeba formowania postaw moralnych, społecznej odpowiedzialności biznesu, a także wyznaczenia miejsca rodziny, szkoły, uczelni, Kościoła w tym procesie.
Determining features of the financial and economic crisis the author supports the specialists point of view which consider that the crisis is not an eventual thing, it was created and made by its organizers who neglected their morality for the sake of benefit. Thus the crisis is considered to be not only financial but moral and spiritual one as well. The topical worthwhile task in this context is to form high morality, social business responsibility and to determine the role and the place of a family, a school, a university and a church in this very process.
