Opis:
The work analyzes the possibility of using a truck chassis in terms of installing a specific device. As part ofwork was selected the vehicle, identified the necessary geometric parameters and the mass allowing of modernization, with particular emphasis on the required structural changes in the front and rear suspension. To this were used, the developed two phase methodology of calculation of the metal elastic elements (springs) and mechanical lateral tilt stabilizers. Results of numerical calculations are presented in the form of recommendations to redesign of the front and rear suspension. However, in the front suspension should be made a new spring and a mechanical lateral tilt stabilizer, while rear spring suspension meets the requirements in terms of elastic characteristics (adequate the coefficient of rigidity) is requiredonly adjustment of the static deflection of the suspension for example by adjusting the radii of leaf of the spring. Because of the design solution of the driving rear axle (so called driving axle trolley) was not proposed mechanical lateral tilt stabilizer. Paper present diagram of the forces acting on a vehicle with special equipment, results of the calculation loads acting on the suspension components fitted to a lorry with a special device, results of the calculation loads acting on the base vehicle suspension components, the basic parameters of a lorry with special hull and performance graph of the front suspension leaf spring resilience.

Opis:
Classic Gurney flap and double Gurney flap (called T-strip) are well-researched trailing edge modifications used in aerospace engineering. However, one of the inevitable effects of their use is the aerodynamic drag increase at low lift conditions, concerned as the major drawback of these solutions. This article presents Gurney flap and T-strip passive alternatives, which guarantee similar advantages in terms of e.g. lift enhancement, but without significant drag increase. Their aerodynamic analysis was performed on the application case of a typical symmetrical aircraft stabilizer with movable steer. Both solutions, consisting of plates nearly parallel to the direction of flow, were modelled as two-dimensional cases and CFD calculations were performed for specified range of angles of attack and steer deflections. Obtained aerodynamic characteristics allowed assessing the influence of selected modifications on the stabilizer effectiveness, as well as on hinge moment characteristics. The flow pattern changes in the presence of analysed devices were also investigated. In this way, performed analysis provided valuable information about the advantages and disadvantages of using of such devices in comparison to classic Gurney Flap and double Gurney flap. The results showed that using proposed solutions gives the possibility of significant reduction of the aerodynamic drag of the whole stabilizer at low lift conditions, while still maintaining favourable lift characteristics.

In the paper was tested one of combat vehicles that is highly dynamic military vehicles, combining a high striking and fire power with high mobility and manoeuvrability. Were presented the mechanism of transfer of disturbance from the ground on the angular stabilized turret of the vehicle. Hull vibration caused by bumps in the ground. Angular and axial displacement of vehicle are the input signals acting on the turret and the gun. Two-axis stabilisation system compensates the velocities of the vehicle. Stabilisation system, automatically maintain the position of the turret at a fixed bearing in space. In spate of any motion of the vehicle in roll (hall transversal vibration) or in yaw (hall "snake-like" vibration). Torques and forces acting on the rigid body of combat vehicle turret are written in equations of motion. To examine the effect of mass inertia moment of the IFV turret on the size of first overshoot (to confirm the theoretical considerations) performed a simple experiment. Was measured the size of the angle of the first overshoot of the turret when braking rotating turret with a maximum angular velocity. Measurements were made on the IFV turret in the previously existing configuration, and when mounted on it extra weight. An experiment confirms the theoretical considerations. The results of measurements show that an increase of approximately 8 per cent of the mass moment of inertia of the turret causes about 16 per cent increase in the amplitude of the first overshoot.

Opis:
In the paper were described basic tactical and technical parameters as well as general construction of fire control system and gun stabilizer of HITFIST 30 turret system installed on armored personnel carrier AMV 8x8 "ROSOMAK", that production was set in motion, for Polish Army needs, in polish factory. Were presented general working principles of gun and turret drives of HITFIST 30 turret system as automatic control systems as well as working principles while aiming at a target and stabilization of a given gun position on battlefield condition. Were shown basic functional modules of fire control system and theirs location as well as were described main function of the system essential for accurate firing by gunner and commander during day and night. Based on electrical schemes of the system and authors experience, general functional diagram of fire control system and gun stabilizer was worked out. Above-mentioned scheme will be the base for working out the mathematical model of described system. Such model, thanks to simulation tests, will make possible to predict results of changes in construction of the system (while modernization concerned strengthening of armor or armament) before implementing to real construction of turret system.
W artykule opisano podstawowe parametry taktyczno-techniczne oraz ogólną budowę systemu kierowania ogniem i stabilizatora uzbrojenia systemu wieży HITFIST 30 instalowanej na kołowych transporterach opancerzonych AMV 8x8 "ROSOMAK", których produkcję, na potrzeby Polskiej Armii, uruchomiono w polskim zakładzie produkcyjnym. Przedstawiono ogólne zasady działania napędów armaty i wieży systemu wieżowego HITFIST 30 jako układów automatycznej regulacji oraz zasady ich funkcjonowania podczas naprowadzania na cel i stabilizacji zadanego położenia armaty w warunkach pola walki. Pokazano podstawowe moduły funkcjonalne systemu kierowania ogniem i sposób ich rozmieszczenia oraz omówiono najważniejsze funkcje systemu niezbędne dla celnego strzelania przez działonowego i dowódcę w dzień i w nocy. Na podstawie schematów elektrycznych układu i doświadczenia autora, opracowano ogólny schemat funkcjonalny systemu kierowania ogniem i stabilizatora uzbrojenia. Powyższy schemat stanowił będzie bazę do opracowania modelu matematycznego opisanego systemu. Model taki, poprzez badania symulacyjne, umożliwi przewidywanie skutków zmian konstrukcyjnych układu (podczas modernizacji polegającej na wzmocnieniu opancerzania lub uzbrojenia) przed ich wprowadzeniem do rzeczywistej konstrukcji systemu wieżowego.
