- In the article, there have been examined the major issues of youth employment in the Ukrainian labour market. According to the data of the sociological studies, there have been discovered certain aspects of employment behavior and labour orientation of young people; there have been analyzed problems of unemployment among youth, tendencies on workplace changes and mobility among young people as well as factors and causes, which influence the decision regarding changing of the workplace. There have been presented necessary ways of fostering the youth employment and major development prospects of the youth segment of the labour market. There have been given recommendations regarding ways of improvement of the situation for youth in the labour market.
