Opis:
In the past, people were travelling mainly for religious purposes. The first travelers were pilgrims who traveled to places of spiritual enjoyment. In these trips, tourism services were used only partly. Today the situation is reversed. The business of tourism is not easy, but Slovakia has all the prerequisites for its development, particularly in terms of primary supply. Secondary offer is in the business sphere of competence. It is possible to succeed in domestic and international competition in tourism industry by defining opportunities of a country, drawing potential for financial contributions from the European funds as well as from the Ministry of Culture, with the proper use of tools of religious marketing mix and quality management of human resources. Opis:
Consumer behavior in developed economies is the subject of sustained interest, since only the consumer himself decides what kind of services he needs and for which he is willing to pay well. Tourism is considered a major determinant of the development of the national economy and represents a potential of generating a profit from a macroeconomic point of view and also from a microeconomic perspective. The aim of this paper is the analysis and comparison of the views of the individual authors on concepts such as tourism and consumer behaviour. We also want to point out through conducted marketing research on the impact of demographic variables on consumer behavior in tourism.

Opis:
At present, various segments of consumers who are looking for quieter alternatives to mass tourism are interested in an authentic stay on farms. The farm does not have this mass character, and therefore meets the requirements of multifunctional agriculture and educational way of spending free time. The development of family farms is very beneficial from several points of view. In this article, we focus on family business in the field of traditional mountain farming, which is devoted only to family farms, mostly of the mature and older generation. At the same time, the article points out the history of mountain farming, sheep breeding, milk processing and the realization of dairy products. The aim of the paper is, based on a case study and a primary quantitative marketing survey, to offer an insight into the possibilities offered by today’s mountain farming, the possibility of using the off-season to offer services to customers in order to improve the financial situation of the farm. Attention is focused on a family farm, which deals with mountain farming and processing of unpasteurized sheep’s milk in Slovakia.

Opis:
Consumer behavior in developed economies is the subject of constant interest more focused and is contained in many theoretical and practical studies. Consumer behavior has the character of a dynamic nature, ie the growth needs and desires and the possibility of satisfying them changes both quantitatively and qualitatively consumption. Structural changes affect consumer segments, broken down into smaller parts market and leads to greater individualization. High material consumption and consumption of services symbolize prosperity of developed countries, prosperity and high standard of living in them. Qualitative leap in the development of consumer orientation occurred in the sense that it is in developed countries waived unilateral preference of material consumption and emphasizing its quantitative growth. Greater importance and attention is paid to the quality of life, the ethical and aesthetic development. Quality of life is associated with a sense of selfactualization needs, creative personal development, active life position, multiplicity of individual consumption and active multilateral use of leisure time. To understand consumer behavior in the tourism market we should build on the knowledge of theoretical approaches to this issue.

Opis:
The concept of market segmentation is closely related to the concept of diversity. Without diverse market with many different people with different history, origin, interests, needs, wants and perceptions, we would hardly be able to segment the market. The diversity of the global market makes the market segmentation attractive, viable and potentially high yield strategy. The segmentation of the tourism market is an important part of understanding consumer behavior and is characterized by intensity.
